Chapter 777 - 777: A fundamentally different kind of fight (part 7)

Despite the previous, Aisha didn't let alone panic but showed even the slightest concern about not being able to control the lightning in the stomach of the shark magic avatar.

If she couldn't make the energy that guy had captured self-destroy, then she simply had to attack the shark so that it couldn't continue with whatever the process to make use of the captured energy, was.

"Black Eclipse, Silver Dawn", instead the silver-haired vampire mother, directly casted the technique from earlier once again, the reason being that among the eclipse series, the black version made allusion to orichalcum thus meaning that this was the one whose ray was shot the fastest, the ray was mainly lightning based as its silver color suggested too.

Naturally Aisha's idea was a perfectly viable way to mess with Arlion, given how he gritted his teeth as he made his battle avatar slash his replica sword upwards while also using a martial art.

"Clear Water Royal Wave Breaking Slash!", he shouted as the replica sword exploded in his white-blue energy which then had its borders only, change into the white, blue and yellow "magic aura" of earlier, that's the name of a magic knight's energy which is battle aura as the base with mana added to it, the opposite in other words what battle mages use is called "battle mana" by the way, and it's also worth mentioning that Daimon's demon light which contains both mana and battle aura, is neither of those, but we'll deepen into that subject later, for now let's return to the fight.

"Boooom!", the ten-kilometer-wide silver ray projected by the black metal sun floating in the sky was met head on by the barely three-kilometer large slashing martial art used by Arlion, and despite the difference in size, the thing actually held back and destroyed itself alongside a third of Aisha's attack, before it forced the remaining part of the silver ray to change trajectory, like earlier.

'Mmm, this time there was a moment of collision and only then it was rejected, perhaps because he used less of that tri-colored magic aura than before, also… why does it feel familiar', thought Aisha as she this time pointed both of her hands frontwards.

With his new magic aura, all of Arlion's specs had gone up, he could now react and cast his martial arts fast enough to equal the high speed orichalcum version of Aisha's techniques, but there was a solution for that too.

"Silver Eclipse, Violet Dawn", with Aisha's left hand, the previously shown silver sun overwhelming violet ray projecting technique from earlier made its appearance again.

Even before the violet ray descended, the mountain-like pressure radiated from it, forced Arlion to grit his teeth, it was all in his mind, but if your brain perceives something as real, then it pretty much becomes so for you.

And the bad news kept coming, because Aisha simply used the mind suppressing effect of her blood energy based violet dawn, to slow down Arlion as she casted another technique.

"Black Eclipse, Silver Dawn", with her right hand this time she casted the good old orichalcum lightning-fast silver ray projecting technique, and as a proof of how big the difference in the speed between the orichalcum property techniques are from the rest, despite having being casted second, the silver ray coming from it, descended first.

"Crack!", seeing the incoming silver ray Arlion who was about to curse and use his sword to defend against the attack, felt a huge sensation of relief when he heard the shark magic avatar produce cracking noises as it rubbed its teeth together.

'Final fuckingly!', shouted Arlion to his insides.

Then an interesting scene took place, a silver ray symbol appeared on one of the many spikes on the shark magic avatar, well, it would be more accurate to say that said symbol floated inside of the spike in question, but that's just an aesthetic thing, what mattered is what happened next when said spike shone in that white, blue and yellow magic aura which Arlion had suddenly started to use.

In response, the silver ray which was about to impact Arlion's battle avatar, suddenly and abruptly changed its trajectory completely missing Arlion.

"Roaaar!", the shark magic avatar then roared as it opened its jaws again, to then drag a portion of the incoming violet ray which was descending just after the silver one, into its stomach.

"Clear Water Royal Wave Breaking Step!", feeling the overwhelming pressure of the violet dawn, diminishing as the shark took away a portion of Aisha's technique into its tri-colored magic aura coated stomach, the past king then used the magic aura powered version of his movement martial art to flash away alongside his magic avatar, avoiding the remaining part of the attack.

"Boooom!", the violet ray despite having being weakened, still caused a huge energy pillar to raise high into the sky when it impacted something in its descend, but right now Aisha's attention wasn't in that.

But in the fact that the silver dawn was completely deviated earlier, what's more, with her pretty violet slit pupil eyes which enhanced her sight, she could see that the silver ray symbol inside that lateral spike on the shark magic avatar, had a bit more of that tri-colored magic aura shinning around it.

Not to mention that the silver ray which the shark had taken into its stomach was nowhere to be seen, and that space was being used by the part of the violet ray which the shark just stole, it wasn't hard to guess what happened.

"I see, so that's how that curse imbued shark is used, after processing the lineage energy it steals, it turns it into some kind of protective "charm" of sorts, which is then used to defend you against attacks of a similar nature, I highly doubt that's what you aimed for, probably the complete version of that curse and your magic avatar would be to put those whose lineage had been processed by it, under your control", casually said Aisha.

She didn't need blood reading to know that, just knowing the type of person Arlion is, was enough, he couldn't give up the throne of the clear water kingdom and manipulated things behind the scene for many generations after all, he was obsessed with reigning over others.

And his thinking was influenced by the feudal power system of a kingdom too, where the biggest threat to the king is often the noble class, he probably planned to take control over every noble clan of the clear water kingdom so that he wouldn't need to worry about such a thing happening to him.

But that was a future goal, for the time being his magic avatar only defended him against attacks from the lineages it had processed, what's more and to Arlion's displease when she put emphasis in the word "charm" earlier, the silver-haired vampire mother also had a rough idea of how he achieved this.

"That tri-colored magic aura surely looked familiar, the white part was a good way to disguise it, but I knew that blue and yellow tone from somewhere, that's the hair color of a princess from the angelfish clan, that's low even for a piece of trash like you", added the silver-haired vampire mother as she snapped her fingers.

"Silver Eclipse, Violet Dawn", first she went with the technique whose attack was being processed by the shark as of current, and so a silver sun which projected a violet ray appeared high into the sky.

"Black Eclipse, Emerald Dawn", next was another of the orichalcum series, but with sea devil ore property into the lightning attack, which resulted in a green gem-like ray to be produced.

"Violet Eclipse, Black Dawn", last was a violet sun which produced pressure like nothing else before, accompanied by an incredibly fast black ray to be shot before the other two attacks, despite being the last to be casted.

"Blegh!", like previously stated one's reality can be altered by what one's mind perceives, this time instead of a mountain, Arlion felt as if he was at the bottom of a violet blood sea, the pressure made him alongside his magic avatar to fall from the sky a few hundreds of meters, before he managed to compose himself by having the crown on his head shine in that tri-colored light, while Arlion vomited blood from the backslash.

"Clear Water Royal Wave Breaking Step!", first and formal, the past king used his movement martial art to barely dodge the black ray before making his battle avatar point his sword at the incoming violet and green emerald rays.

"Clear Water Royal Wave Breaking Tsunami!", a huge amount of white-blue magic aura whose borders were of that different white, blue and yellow tone turned into a giant wave which collided with the remaining two attacks.

"Boooooom!", the collision made the air vibrate as a loud shockwave was produced by it, the emerald ray fully exhausted itself quite fast, but in exchange it tore a hole through the magic aura tsunami which the violet ray used to travel right at Arlion whose pupils contracted like needles as he gritted his teeth and pointed his right hand at the shark magic avatar, whose stomach shone in white, blue and yellow magic aura.

"Rooaaar!", the shark suddenly roared, a second symbol occupying a different spike appeared on its body and then the violet ray which was about to hit Arlion was deviated to the side, also once again the symbol corresponding to the attack that was rejected, gained more of that tri-colored brilliance.

"Luck really is an annoying power to deal with, but you are not its legitimate owner, nor can you become it unlike the princesses of the angelfish clan, even if you hadn't failed to create your own "princess" the result would have been more or less the same", said Aisha to which Arlion lashed out in response.

"Shut up, she was mine and therefore everything of hers is mine too, her power, her lineage and even her race, as subjects of the clear water kingdom they belong to me!", he said.

That's right, earlier when he vomited blood, Aisha got another piece of intel, well she got confirmation, as she already had guessed that the second type of magic aura which Arlion was capable of using was related to the angelfish clan.

In the memories codified into that blood, the silver-haired vampire girl saw Arlion hiding in a secret location under the sea, where tanks filled to the brim with red blood were processed time after time, until a single drop of white, blue and yellow blood was created.

All that blood was obtained from the members of Marlene's race which were killed after they were exiled from the kingdom, unlike what people believed they didn't become free food for everyone who crossed them, because Arlion killed anyone who tried to get ahead of him at the time of capturing a member of the angelfish race.

He needed a lot of them after all, Marlene was the first ever of her kind to be born as a princess, there have been others with similar powers to hers in the history of her clan, that's where the myth of having a lover from the angelfish clan bringing good fortune, originated, but their power was nowhere near close to Marlene's one.

That blond-blue dual tone haired girl could literally take other people's luck and turn it into hers, it was the closest to the nonsense comeback ability that hero system users have, the difference is that in her case there is no limit to the times she could do it, of course that doesn't make her invincible, what Marlene could do was more like tilting the scales in her favor, but if the situation was unsolvable, she would still die, but still, it is a really good life-saving measure.

Unfortunately, like previously stated Marlene was the first of her kind and those that came before her, were not only weaker in that aspect, but they couldn't actively use that power, so there was no information about it, not even in the memories codified in their lineage.

Marlene learned to use her power by instinct and perfected it with bone breaking effort, but she was unable to use her power for offensive, or for the sake of others, the only one saved every time a group of her race was being chased was her, and no matter how much luck she took from others, her battle prowess didn't increase one bit, the angelfish princess would have happily renounced to that divine-like ability in exchange for reaching the peak of the Stellar rank, so that she could keep her sisters and aunts safe from any harm.

That being said, and while Arlion managed to create an "artificial princess" by giving that refined drop of blood to the girl from the angelfish clan he took as his lover, without telling her where it came from of course, which ultimately allowed him to do something along the lines of what Marlene wanted to achieve, she would have absolutely refused to follow the same process as him even if she had learned about this secret part of her race's history as Aisha just did.

"I wonder if it was by "luck" that you learned about chosen ones, that would explain why the records say that your wife suddenly died, there are some things that shouldn't be messed with carelessly, on the other hand the death being caused on purpose to power up, that's quite the hero-like trait", said the silver-haired vampire mother, to which Arlion gritted his teeth.

"Keep talking bitch, I already have two of your energies and soon it will be three, once your attacks stop completely working on me, you are dead meat", said the past king, earlier the shark dragged some of the emerald ray into its stomach before it was exhausted even before it finished processing the violet one.

The reason being that Arlion had used more of that tri-colored magic aura, yeah, before he did it one more time to accelerate the processing of the violet ray, which resulted in the next, his appearance changing, he went from appearing to be in his late teens, to look in his middle twenties now, a change that was reflected on his battle avatar as well.

That being said, the past king wasn't getting weaker, his aura grew stronger, in fact he crossed from the peak of the Arch rank to half step into the Stellar rank, this is because the curse that separated "him" from his current self, ha weakened as he dedicated more of that tri-colored magic aura to something else, namely the magic avatar shark.

"Roaaar!", to the previous, the shark aggressively roared as it had a third symbol appear on another of its lateral spikes, this time it was a green ray, the processing speed had become quite fast due to the previously mentioned change as well.

"Looks like you are getting quite ahead of yourself", said Aisha whose silver wings exploded in violet energy as she pointed her pretty right index finger upwards.

"Silver Firmament, Violet Starfall", with the end of Aisha's sentence, the whole sky inside of the demonite field, yeah, the whole thirty kilometers covered by it, turned of a silver tone, before violet electric arcs started crackling on it, gathering into countless of hundreds of small violet spheres, that then exploded turning into a rain of violet flashes.

"Humph, I already have that energy in my magic avatar don't waste time and use something different…", Arlion's words were interrupted by Aisha who had a disdainful expression on her pretty face as she said.

"A frog at the bottom of the well getting carried away is quite a pathetic sight, to think you would talk about "variety" in front of a spell alchemist".

'No way!'.

"Roaaar!", Arlion's eyes contracted like needles as he saw the magic avatar shark roaring at the incoming hundreds of violet flashes, only for them to… remain unaffected, their trajectory wasn't changing in the slightest.

"Boooooom!", the next second everything inside the demonite field, well, Aisha aside, was engulfed in a violet energy explosion which lasted quite a few seconds.

"Haa…", once the energy explosion had subsided, the sight of Arlion whose magic avatar was full of cracks was revealed, he had coated it with that tri-colored magic aura but still received damage.

While the violet ray symbol inside the spike of the shark had failed, he could have still deviated the attacks manually with that magic aura, which he did, the problem is that there was nowhere to deviate them without Arlion receiving damage, because as previously stated the whole sky inside of the demonite field was affected, so when Arlion deviated a violet flash, it clashed with another one and exploded, therefore causing him damage.

That was the result of Aisha combining two descend type techniques by the way, she got a larger scale wide area technique, speaking of which and in response to Arlion's hatred filled gaze, the silver-haired vampire mother casually added.

"You see, luck is an annoying power to deal with but it's not even close to take you out of "A plan" strength range, in fact you were really unfortunate to have me as your opponent, or perhaps it was karma getting back at you".

"I have four metal properties I can use with ease plus two which require a bit of effort, lightning and blood energies as well, that's twelve different types of "fuel", then there is one wide area, one focused, one movement and one enhancing type technique I can use with ease, plus another one of each which require a bit of effort, so that's 96 results, which I can then combine to produce 192 composed results".

"I might be a "novice" but just like how with the exact same ingredients a talented alchemist can create something as different as poison and medicine are, each and every of my techniques are different, so being able to reject one is not going to help you with the others even if the energies powering them are the same, you'll be dust before I even finish using the basic combinations", said Aisha.

That was her fourth and sole unfinished challenge by the way, which was not lineage related but talent related instead, Aisha was in the way of becoming a "spell alchemist", you remember Daimon obtaining one of the two abilities that resulted in the creation of the "infinity eyes" from a profession book bought in the store of the system, well that's also a profession, and of a higher level than the ones that were currently available in the store of the system too.

Which means that the knowledge needed for it surpasses what currently is the environment that surrounds Daimon, as that's the limitation of the system's store at its initial level.

As strange as it might sound, given that the blood prison realm was in part created thanks to the sealing spell used by the megalodon general, this special challenge given to Aisha, should have been of a profession at stellar kingdom level, though given the reaction from Arlion who has interacted with Dian, things might not be as simple as that.

"Fucking nonsense, the results of using the same energy types even if with different techniques, shouldn't be different enough to ignore my blood conquering curse!", roared the past king, to which Aisha snorted in response.

"The only one who can use the word "conquer" with me is my darling".

"Emerald Firmament, Blue Rainstorm", Aisha snapped her fingers and the whole sky inside of the demonite field was illuminated in a green gem-like light, followed by a torrential blackish blue rain pouring down from above.

"Hssssss!", that was the sound of Arlion's battle avatar partially melting down everywhere where a single drop of that rain landed, the technique Aisha used didn't produce an acid, it was energy concentrated into drops, in case you have forgotten blood is considered an advanced evolution of water affinity, though any kind of mana which is concentrated enough can be turned into a liquid and or solid state like the mana stones found in a mine.

As for the power it contained, it was antinite metal property, so, mana suppressing effect, but that's not all, Aisha's composed spell couldn't be just a strong rain, especially because it included the word "storm" in its name.

"Hsssss!", green electricity crackled all over the sky to then descend into lightnings which as if guided by the "water" that was covering Arlion's battle avatar, all moved straight towards him.

"Boooooom!", that was thirty kilometers worth of lightning gathering in a single spot to then explode upon contact with its target, even Aisha who was safely floating inside the metal defensive field was flown a few meters into the distance by the shockwave caused by the explosion.
