Chapter 1137 - 1137: Chapter-1137
The Mage Tower’s Top is covered with dark smoke and nothing is visible.
“Wind Cyclone…” Orphia spoke up as she immediately created a small cyclone on the top of her finger that sucked in all the smoke and cleared the view.
The students are saved by the shields that the teachers have created over them, but the ring is completely devastated.
Alvin is hiding behind Orphia’s legs, and in the middle of the ring stands Samuel’s body—its upper half has been completely destroyed from the mana explosion, leaving only the legs standing inside the ring.
“Fucking hell… Who was this kid?” Orphia whispered as she looked at the half-severed body with a shocked expression.
“D-Did I win?” Alvin asked with a scared expression as he looked at Samuel’s corpse.
“Hah… Fuck this. Since the dumb fuck died from using a spell he couldn’t handle, Professor Alvin has w—” Orphia started speaking with a disappointed expression but was interrupted by an unusual flow of mana around her.
“W-What happened?” Alvin asked with a confused expression as he looked at Orphia.
“The mana… Can you feel it?” Orphia asked as she looked around the ring and noticed it was coming from every direction.
“W-What are you saying, Headmaster? I-I don’t feel anything. Please just declare the result of this match so these students can return to their—”
“Shut the fuck up. There it is…” Orphia spoke as she immediately turned her head to the right and noticed a piece of meat moving on the ground.
“Woah…”
“Hey, look… The corpse is moving.”
“Fucking hell.”
“How is that possible?”
“What the fuck!?”
Everyone was confused as Samuel’s legs started twitching once again.
Swish
Suddenly, three large pieces of flesh came flying toward Samuel’s legs and reattached to his torso.
“Motherfucker, he’s using delay cast.” Orphia spoke, her eyes widening in shock.
“But… Headmaster, that’s just a theoretical spell. No one in the entire empire has even successfully created its first circle yet.” A teacher spoke with a serious expression as he looked at Orphia.
Swish-Swish-Swish-Swish-Swish-Swish
All the pieces of Samuel’s body came flying back and started reattaching themselves.
Since his hands had been completely destroyed, new ones started growing, and even his head regenerated instantly.
But this time… His body didn’t look as skinny as before. Instead, it appeared more muscular and refined.
In just one minute, a corpse that had been obliterated from the waist up had fully healed back to its prime condition.
Everyone standing around the ring was completely shocked by what they had just witnessed. They couldn’t decide whether to be excited, happy, or terrified.
“Haah…” Anon exhaled as he opened his eyes and looked around.
“Did you declare him the winner?” Anon asked, confused, as he looked at Orphia.
“Ha… Hahahahahahahahah… Slap-Slap-Slap-Slap” Orphia burst into laughter, slapping her knees.
‘This thing that Averis gave me… It’s multiplying my mana a hundredfold. If I keep using powerful skills with this body… It will keep exploding.
It’s good that I used soul casting and not regular casting.’ Anon thought as he looked at Orphia with a puzzled expression.
“T-That’s not possible… Y-You died, and I won this Death Duel… Right, Head—” Before Alvin could finish his sentence, Orphia interrupted him.
“This duel is still going on. You can attack him and kill him. Same for you, kid. I’ll step outside of the ring… Today is the best day of my life—so much entertainment.” Orphia spoke with a grin as she stepped out of the ring.
‘What the hell is wrong with her?’ Anon thought as a smile appeared on his face.
“Frost Lance…” Alvin spoke as he summoned a massive, razor-sharp lance made of ice and launched it toward Anon.
SWISH
Without even looking at the lance, Anon raised his hand and cast his skill.
<Quantum Reflect> A shimmering shield appeared in front of Anon, absorbing the Frost Lance entirely before firing back hundreds of Frost Lances at Alvin.
Swish-Swish-Swish-Swish-Swish-Swish
“N-No… What is happening…?” Alvin shouted as he ran around the ring, desperately trying to dodge the incoming Frost Lances. But he failed—one of them stabbed into his right leg.
Stab
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH…” Alvin screamed as he clutched his leg, watching blood pour from the wound.
“Hahahaha… Keep it up, kid. Show me more…” Orphia cheered, laughing loudly.
As soon as he cast the skill, Anon felt extreme weakness wash over his body.
‘W-What the-!?’
[Warning: 30% Mana Left.]
As soon as he saw the notification, Anon’s face darkened.
‘I used 70% of my mana on that one spell. Fuck.’ Anon thought, his expression turning serious.
He immediately opened his inventory to pull out a mana potion, but there was nothing inside.
“You have got to be kidding me,” Anon muttered with frustration.
“I will fucking kill you…” Alvin growled, his expression twisted in rage as he struggled to stand. He raised his wand toward Anon.
He immediately began chanting a spell—not just any spell, but a powerful one.
‘I can’t cast any defensive spells due to low mana… So I’ll have to settle this with some old-school methods.’ Anon thought as he cast another spell.
<Fire Ball> A small fireball appeared over Anon’s hand.
“What the fuck is he doing?” Orphia asked, unable to comprehend Anon’s actions.
‘Supply more mana to it…’ Anon commanded himself, channeling more energy into the Fireball but restricting its size instead of letting it grow larger.
Within seconds, the orange flame condensed into a small, white-glowing orb that slowly floated toward Alvin as he continued his chant.
“Watch this…” Anon spoke, turning toward Orphia before snapping his fingers.
Snap
“Frost Nov—” Before Alvin could finish his spell, Anon unleashed the compressed fireball all at once.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
“Woah…” Orphia spoke as she got amazed by such a heavy explosion.
The ring got covered with smoke once again…
“Wind Cyclone…” Orphia spoke as she created another small cyclone over her hand and sucked in all the smoke.
This time… When the ring got clearer. Everyone noticed Alvin’s roasted body lying on the side of the ring.
