Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 2188: Fighting As A Family Against Divine Guardians

  • Next Chapter

As the door shut firmly behind us, we stepped into the dimension that existed within Lolth and Htlol’s Divine Souls. It was indeed a twisted and strange spiritual world. There was no clear sense of up and down, nor of right and left. Giant floating platforms made of divine crystals drifted through the void, some glowing a brilliant yellow and others a deep, ominous purple. The air itself felt heavy, thick with clashing divine energies that pressed against our skin.

As we explored the interior with our eyes, the heads of the two spider goddesses suddenly appeared high above in the "sky." They manifested as colossal spiders — one gold with calm blue eyes, the other purple with sharp red eyes — watching us from above like silent judges of this realm.

After they finished explaining a few more important details about the dangers of this place, we began walking together as a family across the crystalline platforms. Behind us, Ignatius, Yggdra, Beelzebub, and Armageddon formed a tight defensive formation so that nothing could surprise us from the rear.

The place was incredibly bizarre. Memories, forms, and shifting shapes twisted and flickered everywhere. The entire background of this realm constantly mixed yellow and purple colors, creating a dizzying, dreamlike haze that made distance difficult to judge. Every step felt slightly unstable, as if the ground itself could decide to dissolve at any moment.

As we walked deeper, the world around us began to tremble.

RUMBLE!

"What’s going on?" my mother asked, looking around warily.

"Look!" my brother pointed ahead.

Blocking our path, something began to emerge directly from the yellow-purple background. A giant spider-like golem made of gold and purple metal stepped forward, its hollow body filled with swirling purple-gold fire. Multiple metallic divine weapons floated around its limbs. These were Divine-Level Monsters born inside Lolth’s Divine Soul Stomach.

[Metallic Spiderling Guardian – Tier 10]

"They’re Tier 10?!" my mother was visibly shocked.

"Nothing we can do about it now. Hold tight!" I said, already channeling my Weredragon Transformation. Golden and crimson scales began spreading across my skin. "Stay within the range of my aura or the stomach might start digesting you. Let’s go!"

My father nodded without hesitation. He fused with his spirits and transformed into an angelic form. His hair turned into blazing white fire, and a pair of white-feathered, flame-wreathed wings spread from his back. His sword burned with radiant power. "Let’s do this!"

"I’ll watch your backs, heal you, and conjure barriers then," my mother said firmly. "Divine Holy Chains of Sealing!"

She activated her Divine Aspect. Thick chains of pure holy light surged forward and wrapped around the approaching monsters, temporarily binding them in place.

My brother quickly enveloped himself in his Adamantium Phoenix Armor and charged forward with his rapier gleaming.

The Spiderlings hissed and released deadly, soul-burning divine fire from their hollow bodies. "Don’t let the fire touch your souls!" I called out urgently.

My mother immediately conjured Soul Wards over all of us. The protective barriers absorbed one full blow before shattering, giving us just enough time to strike.

I swung Scarlet with full force and split one Spiderling into pieces. An explosion of divine fire erupted the moment it died, pushing me backward. "Ugh! Be careful — they explode when you kill them!"

My brother nodded and launched a series of long-ranged attacks alongside our father. Together they destroyed two more of the creatures, both of which detonated in bursts of golden-purple flame.

Five more Spiderlings crawled toward us, shattering the crystal platforms beneath their heavy steps. They charged while hissing, unleashing dozens of divine weapon techniques and spitting streams of fire.

I took a step forward and deliberately bathed myself in their flames, absorbing the divine fire into my body. "My favorite."

I smiled as the power flooded through me. The divine fire became my own. My energy turned gold and purple, and my Weredragon form mutated further. Golden and purple scales covered my body as I grew twice as large and more muscular, taking on a powerful Amazonian build. I swung Scarlet horizontally. A shining cascade of rainbow light representing my familiars erupted from the blade and tore the Spiderlings apart, triggering a chain of explosions.

Then an even larger one appeared — a fusion of several smaller guardians. It swung a massive hammer and struck me with divine lightning, sending me flying across the platform. For a moment I nearly fell off the edge into the twisted abyssal sea of digestive soul essence below.

"Sylphy! I got you!"

Ignatius, Yggdra, Beelzebub, and Armageddon lunged forward and pulled me back to safety. I nodded in thanks and immediately rushed back into the fight.

My mother used her chains to bind the giant fused guardian, then fired dozens of concentrated beams of Holy Light Magic into its body. My father swung his blazing sword and sliced through several of its arms. My brother unleashed a rapid flurry of long-ranged sword slashes that caused explosions across its armored surface, steadily weakening it.

"Well done, family!"

I nodded, leaping high into the air and charging forward with pure draconic fury. My aura exploded outward as Sextuple Yggdragon Aura activated. Six dragon heads manifested around me and then fused into a single massive spear of power.

My Soul Weapon evolved even further in that moment.

"Sextuple Yggdragon Divine Soul Weapon – Soul-Piercing Divine Dragon Fang!"

CRAAASH!

I drove the spear straight through the giant’s chest, shattering a crystallization of divine power that served as its core. The crystal exploded into thousands of fragments.

"...!"

The giant groaned once, then collapsed and detonated into pieces.

The remains of these beings did not disappear. Instead they stayed behind as usable materials. I quickly stored them by calling Glutton, who extended his long tongue and greedily swallowed everything.

"These’ll be good materials for crafting later," I said with a small smile. "Everyone alright?"

"Yeah, I’m fine," my father answered. "Let’s continue."

"I guess we’re in a hurry. No point wasting time," my brother added.

"Alright, let’s keep moving," my mother said. "Come on."

She led us forward along the crystalline paths. With every step we drew closer to the faint presence my father could still feel — that lingering, re-awakened echo.

"Flamie..." he muttered under his breath, still holding onto the fragile hope that there might be a way to bring him back.

Ahead of us, a long staircase leading higher into the realm came into view. From the steps and the swirling background, several new Divine Monsters began to materialize, blocking our path once again.
