Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 2035: Naturia’s Incredible Evolution!

—–

After pressing [Yes], Naturia’s evolution finally began. All the materials I had offered started floating around her and were slowly absorbed into her spiritual soul body.

The skill scroll I offered was a “Random Spirit Skill Scroll” I had created by piecing fragments together. It was interesting, and I could have gained something new from it, but at the same time, I wanted to see what it would grant a familiar that absorbed it.

“Waaahhhh!”

Naturia cried out, not in pain but in pure awe, as she absorbed the pile of materials. Hundreds of spirit orbs and soul orbs vanished into her, followed by what her mother had given us, and then the rest of the pieces of equipment.

Finally came the skill scroll. It seemed to reject her at first, but then…

FLASH!

The scroll released a mysterious glow and fused with her completely.

The ground beneath us trembled. To our shock, a forest emerged, not one of flames but of vibrant life and lush greenery. Life and spiritual energy spread everywhere, creating a fountain of spirits.

Naturia stood at the center as a giant tree surged from the earth, rising higher and higher.

“A tree?!”

I had watched Naturia evolve slowly from a tiny seed to a seedling, then grow larger and stronger until she became a spirit resembling a dryad. She had already evolved into a Divine Spirit, a Dryad, and possessed incredible abilities.

Before Yggdra joined us, she had been my main companion for enhancing my power over the element of Nature. But ever since her mother arrived, I had to admit, somewhat sadly, that she had lost some of her relevance in helping me with spells.

As I grew stronger, my familiars had mostly become power batteries that I absorbed from. Yes, it sounded harsh, but only by accepting the truth about their usefulness could I find ways to keep them relevant in the battles to come.

That was why I had decided to turn Naturia into something far beyond a mere spirit of nature, to help her redefine herself.

And because of that…

FLAAASH!

The tree grew to almost a third of her mother’s true size before it stopped. Then it slowly began to disintegrate into particles of light.

Indeed, she did not remain a tree like her mother. Although Naturia was a spirit born from Yggdra, she had never been a tree to begin with. Yggdra had always been a plant first and a spiritual being second, but Naturia had always been a spirit above all else.

As a spirit, her power was far more malleable. That was why I had chosen to transform her into something different. Although much of this was beyond my control, I had a feeling it would grant her something unique that would let her stand out.

And now…

FLUOSH!

A pillar of green and golden light surged upward as Naturia’s new form appeared. She radiated the power of Divinity, though not as strong as her mother’s. Still, it was almost comparable to Scarlet and Sapphire, only about half a rank below them.

I knew it would not be possible to turn every familiar into a god right away, but this… this was more than enough.

No, it was amazing!

“Hehe, I think I evolved into something really interesting!” she giggled.

Her cute appearance remained, though she no longer looked like a five-year-old. She now appeared around ten years old. Her hair had turned blonde, and she wore a beautiful dress made of pink flowers. She also had fairy wings of gold and pink, and her bright eyes had become a striking pink and gold. A pair of wooden branch horns resembling antlers grew from her head, beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms.

“Oh my gosh! My baby has finally blossomed!” Yggdra celebrated. “Look at her splendor! She is no longer a young seedling. She has fully blossomed! She is officially an adult among nature spirits.”

“Adult?!” I gasped. “Well, she still looks like a cute baby girl to me…”

“Hmph! Master, I am big now!” Naturia pouted, which only made her look even cuter. “Is my hair color okay? I was worried I would become unrecognizable…”

“No, it’s fine!” I said. “But that power… you’ve obtained a Divinity, right?”

“Heheh, more than just that!” she chuckled, her aura glowing brightly. “I CAN DO THIS!”

She blew toward me and fused into my body. Wooden branches and pink flowers spread across me before transforming into pale pink metal decorated with golden flower patterns and pink jewels.

“Woah?!”

“Ta-da! I can turn into your own personalized Spirit Armor! Aren’t I awesome?”

“T-This is incredible!”

Now I would not have to worry about raising a Living Armor like Scarlet and Sapphire from scratch. Naturia had become my armor!

Or well…

“Sorry! I can only cover your torso for now, but I can also make a cool helmet!”

The armor, which fit perfectly around my body, manifested a helmet over my head as well. It left my hair free and adjusted comfortably.

It was a beautiful set of armor that gleamed with spiritual and divine energy.

“It’s good enough for now, Naturia. Thank you,” I said. “And when you’re equipped like this, I feel much stronger! Just like when I wield Scarlet or Sapphire.”

This was not the usual stat-sharing effect between master and familiar. This was one hundred percent of Naturia’s stats stacked directly onto mine.

It was incredible!

I could feel my Spiritual Energy pool growing at least three times larger than before. My Spirit Spells felt stronger, and my connection with the Nature Element had deepened dramatically.

One interesting detail was that when I equipped her as armor, my magic circle suddenly filled with what felt like a hundred thousand nature attribute runes. It overflowed with the element of nature so much that I could spawn an entire forest in a split second if I wanted.

And that was only the surface. There was clearly much more to discover.

“It’s incredible!” Alice exclaimed.

“Yeah, she truly evolved into something amazing,” Yggdra said.

“She exudes so much spirit energy… Hmm, now I’m jealous,” Ignatius clicked his tongue as he flew around us. “When’s my turn?!”

“Ugh, soon! Relax, baby boy,” I said.

“Who are you calling baby boy? I am a great dragon!” he protested, nearly biting my head off.

“Anyway, this is Naturia’s time to shine, so don’t bother her,” I said, pushing him aside as he raged and spat flames everywhere. “Naturia, what else do you feel you can do?”
