Chapter 1973: An Incredible Difference
Chapter 1973: An Incredible Difference
—–
“Wow… this is incredible…!”
It felt similar to fusing with my Spirits, but this was permanent. Every Stat I granted a System Seed—and therefore a “Soul”—became part of me forever.
TRUUUM!
The floor beneath me shattered and exploded into fragments. Suddenly I was airborne. I activated Draconification, spread my dragon wings, and descended with a powerful kick against the air.
Strength followed right behind me, as if tethered. Wherever I moved, she was there. Spirits and Familiars could keep pace by flying or running, but they had to teleport through our bond to stay close.
Living Stats were different. The Blazing Spirit of Strength existed wherever I did—anytime, anywhere—like my own shadow!
“Flames of Strength!”
FLUOSH!
I activated her Skill. My draconic claws ignited, then my entire body erupted in roaring fire. My red hair transformed into living flames. The power of my Dragon Fire and Magic Fire surged, evolving and growing fiercer than ever.
With bare fists overlapping Strength’s blazing aura, I smashed through the giant Garden Guardians. My punches tore straight through them; their bodies ignited and detonated.
Their icy shells vaporized instantly. Their plant flesh burned and burst into ashes. Dozens of Garden Guardians were obliterated in a heartbeat.
BOOOMMM!!!
I had always known my fists were strong, but I relied on swordsmanship because I could never match Aquarina’s raw hand-to-hand prowess—or anyone else’s.
This was different. For the first time, it felt overwhelmingly superior!
“Amazing, Strength! This is it! We can finally do this! Let’s go!”
“…!”
Strength nodded, blazing brighter as we charged forward together. The Garden Guardians hissed and unleashed hundreds of poisonous spikes.
I enveloped myself in Dragon Fire, Phantom Fire, Holy Fire, and Flames of Strength, forging an impenetrable barrier of multicolored flames. Anything that touched it turned to ash in an instant.
The spikes disintegrated before they could even graze me.
“Oh yeah—that’s what I’m talking about!”
I roared. Meteors erupted from my body and rained down across the battlefield, detonating in a storm of explosions.
This was my fusion of Petit Meteor and Dragon Flames: Dragon Meteor!
Each falling star roared like a dragon, crashing into the monsters with devastating force.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Dozens upon dozens of Garden Guardians were hurled away—some torn to pieces, others reduced to smoldering ash.
Strength roared alongside me. As I attacked with magic and fists, her form grew larger, mirroring my Draconified state. Her blazing claws carved through everything.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Each slash unleashed a massive explosion, splitting monsters apart and bombarding them with fiery shockwaves.
The sheer destruction, the chain of explosions—it was mesmerizing.
I think I’ve made an incredible new friend!
“Strength, let’s keep going!”
We roared in unison and tore across the battlefield, weaving between waves of Garden Guardians. Some latched onto me with vines—only for the swirling vortex of flames around my body to incinerate them instantly.
“Gryyaaaarrrrgh!”
They shrieked in agony as they burned. I swung my legs, reinforcing the powerful muscles in my thighs, and kicked them apart into fragments.
Three more lunged from the left, four from the right. I used one as a steppingstone, leaped over it, hooked its body with my clawed foot, and launched myself higher.
FLASH!
BOOOM!
Spinning in midair, I set it ablaze and hurled the burning corpse like a bomb into the faces of three others. It detonated on impact.
As I descended, giant vines surged up from below. I dove forward claws-first, channeling swordsmanship techniques through my elongated dragon talons—now as long and sharp as short blades.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
I carved through them effortlessly, mowing down the monsters. One punch pierced straight through a Guardian’s core, leaving a gaping hole before it exploded. Another grabbed my back and legs; I spun midair and engulfed it in a roaring vortex of fire.
“HAAAAHAHAHAH!”
I couldn’t hold back the laughter. Flames danced around me with unprecedented ferocity. Before, my firepower had relied entirely on magic. Now, through Flames of Strength, I could infuse my raw Strength Stat into every blaze!
It was insane—especially with the new Sub-Stats. Shockwaves, grip strength, explosive weight, and flexibility surged through my body like never before.
RUMBLE!
The ground trembled and split open. A gigantic monster emerged—a sentient Frozen Spirit Tree Guardian, an Ice Tree over ten meters tall. Corrupted by the Evil God’s Curse, it had grown to twenty meters, its limbs ending in massive claws of hardened miasmic ice-wood.
It opened its maw, gathered energy, and fired a colossal beam of miasma and ice straight at me.
“Come on, Strength! Keep up! Let’s go all-out!”
“OOOOHHH!”
We roared together. Strength overlapped completely with my body. My aura detonated outward, shaping into a titanic blazing fist that smashed straight through the beam.
We flew through the attack, redirecting it harmlessly aside.
Using only my body, I pierced the giant tree monster again and again—punching, kicking, headbutting—blurring back and forth in a relentless assault.
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
Dozens of crimson streaks flashed around the creature as I tore through it relentlessly. Finally, unable to endure, it collapsed and detonated.
BOOOMMM!!!
“Alright!”
I landed, realizing I was half-naked, when a new system notification appeared.
Ding!

Only ten points, yet power surged through my muscles like wildfire. They swelled and hardened while I kept my slender frame—stronger, denser, more explosive.
“Now THIS is what I’m talking about! Bring them on!”
I roared, spreading my arms wide as the army of frost-covered Garden Guardians charged.
Behind them, a far larger figure advanced rapidly.
“One of the three bosses!”
Over thirty meters tall, slender and feminine, with pale blue skin overgrown with frozen plants and vines. Long hair of shimmering ice crystals flowed behind her.
Now corrupted by the Evil God’s Curse, her body had turned pale purple. Long spikes protruded from her form, oozing virulent poison.
It was the Frozen Garden and Permafrost Forest Ruler—the Winter Dryad.
