Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1940: A New Day

Chapter 1940: A New Day

I explained to Armageddon my new duty: forging an Alchemy Soul and then refining it with a Soul Cauldron.

“These are all new concepts to me,” she said. “I had no idea Alchemy had reached such an incredible level among mortals! Perhaps my own methods are outdated. I should get an Alchemy Soul and a Soul Cauldron as well… Hey, better make that double then.”

“What? You want one?” I asked. “You’re just my spirit. Don’t get cocky…”

“Hah?! Don’t treat me like a pet! I am my own person, and I demand what I asked for!” she snapped angrily. “Now, tell me about this Alchemy Soul Awakening Method and how she did it. And please go into excruciating detail!”

“Ugh, you’re such a pain…” I sighed, but I nodded and taught her everything I had learned from Master Felicia.

She understood quickly. Armageddon was a genius thanks to her incredibly long life and the vast experience and knowledge she had accumulated. Even if her methods were outdated, once she grasped the updated form, she assimilated it into her abilities and techniques with ease.

“So that’s it!”

Within her Divine Spirit Realm, her true body overflowed with power. Countless Alchemy Runes imprinted across her form as her Alchemy Soul—awakened at the Divine Level—expanded like a world of elements. She laughed, reveling in her Alchemy reaching unprecedented new heights.

“Wonderful. With this it will be much easier to continue my work here,” she laughed. “Maybe with this I could even create that Divine Spirit Forge I’ve been thinking about! But I need more Elemental Spirit Energy, so start supplying!”

“I’ll do it later. Don’t be so demanding. Raise your kids in the meantime,” I said. “They’re all going to be my allies, right? You haven’t taught them to hate me, have you?”

“Tsk, no, I haven’t,” she groaned, crossing her arms. “Well, I am interested in getting a Soul Cauldron. I will provide you with Divine Treasures from here—they’re growing nicely. Then you bring the other materials from outside, and we’ll craft two.”

“I need to make mine on my own. I cannot receive help,” I said. “But sure, we can make yours together.”

“Hah, quite demanding, that midget…” Armageddon complained. “Nevertheless, keep what I said in mind. Try to find Beasts, Spirits, or Spirit Beasts of Water and Wind Elements to maximize the richness of your Elemental Spiritual Energy. I need the highest quality to continue my growth—which will also translate to your own growth. So this is technically a way for you to grow stronger as well! Don’t forget it!”

“Okay, okay, stop nagging me. You’re worse than my mom,” I sighed. “Goodnight for now, Armageddon. And also—as you promised—once the time comes, you’ll help me create methods for my friends, right?”

“Yes, yes, a promise is a promise,” she sighed.

“Alright. Also, I am watching you through my Dungeon Authority, so don’t try anything suspicious like betrayal,” I insisted.

“I am not going to betray you!” she screamed as I cut the connection—but I kept a sliver of my consciousness always watchful over the Dungeon. Using the time dilation, it also helped me cultivate my methods much faster.

Noticing how late it had become, I decided to sleep while employing the Split Consciousness Method—which was slowly starting to feel more like a Cultivation Technique the more I used it.

“Sylphy! Wake up! It’s morning already!”

I slowly woke to the sound of my girlfriend calling me. Aquarina had her own room, and sometimes we chose to sleep separately. Whenever that happened, one of us would go wake the other. This time it was her turn, which surprised me—she usually slept like a rock.

“Aquarina? Ahh…” I yawned. “Did I oversleep?”

“Yeah, it’s almost 1 PM! We let you sleep as long as you wanted because you’re always training or doing something,” she sighed. “Come on, let’s go take a bath already!”

Aquarina wore a beautiful white dress today. Her warm brown skin shimmered under the sunlight streaming through the windows. Her long white hair swayed gently, and her bright blue eyes always captivated me the moment I saw them.

“What’s wrong?” she asked, smiling.

“Ah, nothing. I was just… admiring the view,” I giggled, stretching my arms and sitting up, yawning again. “Ah…”

I quickly realized the Split Consciousness Method hadn’t let me rest properly. Part of my mind still felt unrested. I guessed I shouldn’t use it for too many consecutive days, or the aftereffects would worsen.

I deactivated it right away. My mind settled and relaxed. No headache yet—but I had come close.

“Admiring the view, you say?” Aquarina walked over, tilted her head, and gave me a good-morning kiss. Her lips were full and soft—I loved kissing them. “Mooch! Mooch! You always look so cute when you wake up.”

“Heheh, really?” I giggled, feeling embarrassed as she kissed my face and lips over and over. “Did you take a bath? I guess I’ll take a quick shower and get ready for today.”

“Yep, go ahead,” she nodded.

I walked to my bathroom, undressed quickly, and glanced at my body in the mirror. I had grown slightly taller than I expected. My frame remained slender, but my thighs and hips were especially thick. It felt like all my muscle had settled there. Aquarina always praised my legs, thighs—and yes, my butt too.

My arms used to be like noodles even with constant training. Genetics played a big role—Elves stayed slender and tall. They could build muscle, but it remained lean. Over time, though, my arms had definitely grown larger. Well, as large as they could with my strange mix of genes.

I envied my brother Zephyrus. He clearly got a better genetic blend than I did. Why was I so small? It was frustrating. At least I grew bigger with Draconification—and I could sustain that form permanently now without draining energy—but it never felt like my true self, so I only used it when necessary.

My brother was my complete opposite. He had hit a massive growth spurt before even reaching my age! I used to like being taller than him… now it felt like he was the older one.

My long red hair was messy. I studied my big green pupils and the freckles across my face and shoulders; they had become more prominent as I grew. Then I prepared a warm shower.

“Haaah~”

Nothing beat a warm shower to wake up properly. I washed my body, then my long hair, dried everything with magic, and dressed in a black leather skirt, white shirt, and black boots for the day. I groomed my red hair and decided to tie it into two pigtails for a change.
