Chapter 1772: Nepheline’s True Power
Chapter 1772: Nepheline’s True Power
—–
The Giant Fire Ants’ screams of agony echoed through the entire domain as Nepheline happily smashed them to bits by the hundreds!
BOOOM!
Two hundred!
CLAAASH!
Three hundred!
CRAAASH!
Four hundred!
RUMBLE!
Five hundred!
Nepheline’s power was immense. The massive blazing ants, threats capable of destroying entire villages alone, were being slain by the hundreds.
In mere seconds, almost a thousand of them were gone. Aquarina watched in awe at her mother’s mighty strength.
Nepheline rushed from place to place, kicking the air and swinging her massive hammer. Shockwaves extended as massive explosions of energy, her aura constantly fluctuating.
And that wasn’t all. Her magic activated constantly, giant spears of stone and crystals impaling the ants by the dozens, emerging one after another across the field around her, splattering the ants’ guts and blood everywhere.
Aquarina and her friends were left speechless… It seemed Aquarina needed a good reminder of just how ridiculously powerful her mother truly was.
Even more so as she faced hundreds of ants combining their auras desperately!
FLUOSH!
A gigantic Aura Beast manifested, over five hundred meters tall, resembling a blazing millipede.
“SHIAAAAAHHH!”
Using this power, the ants hoped to challenge Nepheline, opening the jaws of their Aura Beast and engulfing her in an explosion of infernal flames!
BOOOMMM!!!
“M-Mom?!”
Aquarina grew worried for a second, only for her father to pat her shoulders confidently.
“Don’t worry.”
TRUUUM!
With a single swing of her arms, Nepheline unleashed a giant shockwave, dissipating all the flames engulfing her with their fiery heat.
Nepheline emerged amidst the flames, her brown skin gleaming with a metallic sheen.
“Your mother’s alright. This isn’t even at the level of being a challenge for her.”
“Heh! Is that all you can do? What a bunch of weaklings~! Shade, kids! Stay there, I’ll take care of this quickly. All of you save your energy for later. You’ll need it.”
Nepheline decided to finally exercise after being pregnant for eight annoying months. Her aura grew stronger, encompassing her in an armor of multicolored crystals and ores.
“{Earthen Titan Armor}”
FLUOSH!
The armor wasn’t exactly to protect her from damage but to intensify her strength and the range of her attacks even further.
Covered in this glorious armor, Aquarina’s mother took a step forward and disappeared!
She was immensely fast, appearing above the army of thousands of ants, her fists rushing down, punching dozens of ants in mere seconds.
“{Titan’s Fist}”
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
Each of her punches was so strong it released enormously loud shockwaves, shattering the ground around her and even lightly breaking space, as cracks in the empty air appeared from time to time.
A hundred ants were shredded into pieces with every one of her punches. She controlled her hammer from afar, using her ability to manipulate stone and earth. Her hammer spun in midair, growing to fifty meters tall and tearing as many foes as it could to shreds.
CRAAASH! CRAAASH! CRAAASH!
“A-Amazing…!” Silvia muttered. “W-What the hell is this?! Aquarina, your mom’s even stronger than I imagined?!”
“T-That’s… the strength of a Tier 10… huh?” Justicio’s jaw could barely hold itself together. He was dropping it in awe.
“S-She’s moving so fast I can’t even keep up with her!” Agua said.
“…” Aquarina’s eyes widened in disbelief as she stood there, staring.
“KRIEEEEEKKKK!!!”
The ants grew furious. Roughly twenty-five percent of their numbers were already gone!
That was about fifty thousand of them!
They unified their power even more, tens of thousands releasing their auras, working together through their pheromones.
FLUOOOSH!
Suddenly, dozens of titans made of flames and volcanic stone manifested one after another, emerging from their auras and rushing toward Nepheline.
“Hoh? That looks interesting!”
She leaped into the air, facing the Flame Titan in front of her with her armored fist.
“Let’s see who’s strongest!”
TRUUUMMM!!!
Their fists met, and for a moment, it seemed Nepheline had met her match in these Aura Beast Manifestations.
And yet.
RUMBLE!
BOOOMMM!!!
The giant exploded into flames and disappeared, killing all the ants connected to it through the immense backlash of having their fused beast aura destroyed instantly.
“Meh! Not even worth my time!”
“Let me show you what a real Spirit Aura Guardian looks like.”
As Nepheline smiled, she expanded her aura even further. Stone, metal, diamonds, and spirit crystals gathered, materializing around her aura, transforming into one-hundred-meter-long arms with giant palms made of stone, metal, and diamonds.
They started as just six arms but then multiplied, spreading and blossoming like the petals of a lotus flower.
They became so numerous that Aquarina and her friends couldn’t quite discern them at all!
“{Spiritual Aura Guardian Manifestation}: {Hundred-Armed Stone Asura: Adamas}!”
“GRUOOOOHHHHH!”
Adamas wasn’t just a technique. It was a living being, roaring furiously. It swung all hundred of its fists against the approaching fire titans, decimating them one after another!
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
More and more ants died constantly, crushed and left as nothing but dust before its massive fists!
Nepheline wasn’t even unleashing her true power yet. She was just playing around, exercising.
Warming up!
This power certainly was much more evolved than when she battled Lolth’s Incarnation.
In fact, it was as if Nepheline had completely self-actualized.
“SHYAAAAAGGGHHH!”
Meanwhile, in the back, a group of twenty thousand ants roared in unison, their magic powers combining to create a titanic magic circle above everyone!
“W-What the…?!”
Silvia cried, looking up into the skies with a face full of horror.
From the massive red and orange blazing magic circle, hundreds of meteors, each over fifty meters long, started falling one after another.
“M-Meteors?! And so goddamn many?!”
Justicio was losing his mind!
“Hmm.”
Shade remained silent, doing nothing at all.
“Dad? Shouldn’t we make a barrier?”
“No need. Your mother is here, after all.”
“Eh?”
Aquarina looked back at her mother.
Suddenly, between her two hands, she noticed that Nepheline was conjuring some strange magic.
A sphere of gray and blue energy was constantly being condensed.
TRUUUMMM!!!
Creating a center of gravity!
“{Advanced Gravity Magic}: {Maximum Gravitational Attraction}”
FLAAASH!
“G-Gravity magic?! No way!”
