Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1760 1760: The Gods 3

“I see…” Aquarina muttered. “W-Well, I’m glad you felt like sharing that, mom… And yeah, it makes more sense now where your powers come from… Wow, a blessing from the God of the Mountains? I suppose that’s how you developed the ability to grow crystals and ores in your skin?”

“Kind of, but that’s more due to my own efforts and cultivation. Still, divinities play a big role in how your Physique and Magic Circles develop,” Nepheline nodded. “Alright, let’s keep moving. There are a few more Gods left to introduce.”

The stone slab began changing shape as a new figure emerged from within it, carved into the stone and then given colors and details by Nepheline. The drawing was quite amazing, especially since she created it with pure magic and her own thoughts.

“This is Crius, the Chief God of Constellations. He looks rather youthful compared to the other Gods. His power is over the Constellations we see in the sky every night, so you could say he also controls the power of the Night to an extent, though he’s still incomparable to one of the four Original Gods. He also governs the cardinal directions and the winds of the world. He’s known as ‘The Guider of Wanderers and Friend of Bards.’ Can you guess who he blessed?” Nepheline giggled.

“O-Oh, it must be Sylphy’s uncle, Arafunn! Right?” Aquarina asked.

“Indeed, Arafunn is his beloved hero. Surprisingly, they have a good relationship. Arafunn is definitely not the type to like religion or the gods. He’s a free-living soul, but that fits with Crius. This Chief God is one of the rare cases of someone genuinely kind who often worries about the world and doesn’t really like making more heroes. Of course, he’s usually forced by his siblings,” Nepheline said, finally speaking kindly about a God.

“Crius…” Aquarina studied the image of the God on the stone slab. “Oh, he looks really young compared to the rest, like he’s just a teen, no? Although he’s really tall.”

The shape of Crius appeared on the stone slab. He glanced at his siblings with a calm demeanor and a gentle smile. A nebula filled with stars shone brightly behind his figure. His body was slimmer and more slender than his siblings, but he was tall, like the cosmos itself atop the heavens. He had no beard and seemed youthful, with long blonde hair and eyes that shone as if they held many stars within their pupils. If Aquarina squinted, he almost resembled Arafunn, as he even had pointy ears like elves.

“Does Arafunn also have power over Night or Stars like that?” Aquarina asked.

“No…” Nepheline said. “Due to Crius’s varied authorities, his blessings vary depending on the recipient’s major affinities. Arafunn prioritized and specialized in Wind and the Sound Element derived from it, like shockwaves and such. That’s why all his techniques require him to sing or play his flute, and he can unleash catastrophically strong techniques and spells, right? You saw him back then… He’s usually so calm and lazy, though, you wouldn’t even know he has the strength to level an entire city in seconds.”

“Y-Yeah, you would love him, guys. He’s a nice uncle,” Aquarina said. “Even though he wasn’t my uncle, he didn’t mind me calling him that sometimes…” Th link to the orign of this information rsts n ovl(ꜰ)ir(e).nt

“Ahh, I am so jealous of you, Aquarina! To think you met so many heroes since you were a baby…” Silvia sighed.

“It’s really quite amazing, yeah,” Justicio nodded. “And the more I learn about the outside world, the more it feels like we’ve been trapped in here… I really want to just… to just travel outside.”

“Me too…” Quetzalcoatl smiled gently.

“A-Ah, me too!” Agua said.

“I see that hearing tales from the outside world only makes you more enthusiastic about visiting the rest of this vast world, but there are also many dangers,” Nepheline sighed. “Now, let’s resume. There are three more gods left to introduce. The fourth one is a special one, the second Chief God to have blessed Sylphy, Hyperion, the Chief God of Heaven and the Sun.”

The stone slab rapidly transformed, revealing a new painted carving of a tall man with a strong figure. He was incredibly muscular, handsome, heroic, and glorious, resembling the personification of might like nothing else before him. Atop his head was a massive sphere of red and yellow energy flashing with bright red light, likely the sun itself. He looked upon everyone with a smile, prideful yet friendly. His long red beard, combined with his fiery eyes, created a rather intimidating presence.

“Another old man?” Justicio wondered. “He also has a beard. Just how many of them have beards?”

“Well, it seems to be a staple in their society. They love them,” Nepheline sighed. “Shade, I hope you never get one, though!”

“Huh? Not like I can grow one…” Shade sighed, as he had almost no bodily or facial hair aside from the hair on his head, his thin eyebrows, or his eyelashes. “Allan, though, he’s aiming to get one. Though maybe he might shave it off. He’s moody like that.”

Nepheline didn’t seem to like bearded men at all, nor the “big macho men” either, as she preferred Shade, a slender, beautiful man with a handsome face and striking eyes. She had her tastes, and Shade seemed to fulfill them all.

“Mom, you should let dad do whatever he wants… What if he ends up looking like these uncle gods? You’ll have to accept it,” Aquarina said.

“E-Eh? I mean… I know that!” Nepheline sighed. “I was just joking… Eventually, no matter how long we live through cultivation or extended lifespan, we’ll still end up covered in wrinkles. Look at the King of the Elves. He’s almost ten thousand years old, the longest a pure-blooded elf could ever live, and he’s covered to the brim with wrinkles despite having a fairly large body.”

“Makes me wonder how much we can extend our lifespan with cultivation…” Aquarina said thoughtfully.
