With rapid movements and precise blows, Silvia smashed the living shit out of all the ants around her, splattering them into pieces.
Using her Soul as the fuel for these attacks, she saved on precious Mana, while firing more missiles, which were also “Soul Weapons” themselves!
The missiles chased after the ants that were only slightly wounded from the shockwaves generated by her hammers, slowed down and weakened, they finished them off one by one.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Surrounding Silvia, there was a sky completely covered by massive explosions. The ants began to rapidly regroup, becoming large masses of insects that combined their Elemental and Spiritual Auras.
“They’re doing that again!”
She rushed towards them, there were two groups of fifteen each, their combined Spiritual and Elemental Auras released giant Beast Aura Embodiments.
“GROOOAAARRR!”
“SHYAAAAAHHH!”
One of them resembled a giant ant spirit with praying mantis-like scythes covered in flames, four of them at that, while the other Beast Aura manifested a massively armored giant ant spirit with super hard armor.
Both were the same type of “Beast Aura Embodiment” that Aquarina could unleash, and that technically Silvia and Justicio could as well, through their unique powers.
“Ah shit, there’s two?!”
Khepri complained annoyedly, as the two massive ethereal manifestations reached her and Silvia.
“This shouldn’t be a thing! How come these monsters can unleash Beast Auras and even have Spirit Power?! Even if they ate Spiritual Stones… this too evolved to develop independently!”
“It must be their leader then, that monster that could speak and put our minds inside a mindscape! Aquarina said it had divine powers!”
“Yeah I know, that thing is sure strange. Its face looked like a bug but… the presence I felt was kind of familiar.
“F-Familiar?”
“Yeah… It’s weird, but that thing…!”
CRAAASH!
Before Khepri could continue talking, the two ethereal beasts attacked them. The attacker, with four sharp scythes slashed them against the two, unleashing a blazing infernal barrage of slicing attacks.
“SHYAAAAAH!”
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
The attacks were massive, and began easily slicing off the cliff behind Silvia as the girl evaded the incoming long-ranged slashing attacks made of blazing spiritual aura.
“GRUOOOHHH!”
BAAAMMM!!
And while Silvia tried to evade, the highly armored ant spirit beast attacked her, pushing Silvia and Khepri down and trying to crush them into the ground with their massive size and weight.
“Dammit!”
Khepri roared angrily, swinging both hammers with Silvia’s powers and smashing the head and the body of the highly armored beat aura embodiment.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
But they barely did any damage. This spiritual aura construct was immensely tough despite not being actually solid, tanking all blows and holding Silvia in place.
“SHYEEEH!”
It was all a setup for the attacker to descend, its four scythes rushing down towards Silvia and Khepri. As sharp as blades, if not even sharper than that, these giant scythes rushed down, each one over ten meters in length!
“SILVIA!”
“I GOT IT!”
Silvia, who had been mostly thinking, rapidly released her Soul Aura from her body and infused it further into the machine. Metallic nano machine-like spiritual growths emerged from her skin, as her circuit-like tattoos glowed brightly, merging her flesh with Khepri’s mechanical spiritual body even further.
“{Full Machine And Body Synchronization}: {Tank Mode}!”
CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!
Out of nowhere, the humanoid machine transformed, becoming a large golden beetle with giant wheels and a massive cannon on top of it.
“T-This is…?!”
Khepri was flabbergasted, she had no idea they could take such forms before.
“I saw something like this when I saw your memories, Khepri! Remember when we forged a contract? There was a bunch of weird and awesome-looking things in that place you came from, so I copied its shape! It is what you would call a “tank” right?!”
“Hah, you keep surprising me!”
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
The attacker-type beast aura embodiment attacked Silvia and Khepri a second later, only for their reinforced, layered armor to easily block the blows.
“Hahah! Now who’s the tough one here?!”
“GRUOOHHH!”
The highly armored beast aura embodiment ant roared, releasing an inferno of flames as it stood up on its last two legs, falling over Khepri and Silvia, trying to crush them!
CRAAAASH!
And yet…
BOOOMMM!!!
A huge hole suddenly blew up through the spiritual construct’s chest all the way to its abdomen, as the cannon from the tank form had managed to fire its powerful rounds at point blank.
“G-GRAAAAGGH…!”
The monstrous construct of energies and spirit power groaned in agony as if it were alive, and technically it was, its “life” being the fifteen ants that created it, all of them suffering from the same pain the construct did.
As the thing agonized, Khepri and Silvia moved with their giant wheels, rushing through the hole and reaching the top of the monster, pointing the cannon at the attacker-type beast aura embodiment ant.
BOOOMMM!!!
And blowing up its head without any qualms, and without even letting it escape in time. The explosive, devastating rounds were made of the same component as the missiles, but concentrated and compacted even further, making it the equivalent to twenty missiles.
Of course, each round cost a lot of Soul Essence, but Silvia still had plenty of that left, even more now, as she began grasping her true powers, and the extension of them once Khepri channeled them with her.
“Khepri, you said you could drain energy from living beings to continue living right?”
“Y-Yes? What’s with that all out of the sudden?”
“Then let’s drain these wounded Beast Auras with that power and my weird Soul!”
“That’s possible?!”
“We won’t know until we try!”
Khepri extended large mechanical hands into both Beast Auras, only moments before the other ants were to start bombarding them with giant fireballs.
FLUOOOSH!
And in that moment, energy began entering Silvia and Khepri’s mechanical body, as the functions of the body, which required large quantities of energy began to work even faster, they felt overwhelming power.
