After a visual appreciation of Sierra's equipment yesterday, we'd then moved to the training ground to check out the performance, and spent the rest of time in practice with fellow guild members.

As suspected, it was a day without a dungeon run. The next day, which was Wednesday, we'd—the members of the leading vanguard team—straight up gathered at our guild house after the classes.

Though it wasn't just us. All the members had gathered around today, more so because I'd called them. There was going to be a big announcement.

"Everyone, I appreciate your participation today."

Taking my usual spot at the podium in the living room, I started with greetings. After that, I brought the main topic I'd called them in—

"Some of you must have already heard about it, but today, let's start with a formal declaration! —Our preparations are finally done! Starting onward, we're going to challenge advanced dungeons! The foremost objective is to gather resources. Acquire as many materials, have our productioners craft other advanced-grade equipment set to arm the party members, and take ourselves to our first ever advanced-low dungeon challenge!"

"Woah!" "Amazing!"

As soon as I made my announcement, a downpour of cheery voices and applause echoed throughout the room. It was as if someone had set off those party bombs.

Honestly, I was quite surprised at the volume of cheery voices. The shorter ones—I mean, the youngling groups, like Lulu and other members, appeared to be astonished, and made up the majority of squeals.

The reaction was more than I had expected. Still, it was a great reaction!

They must've been looking forward to this announcement I believe. That reminded me of the buzz «King Absolute» created when they made their announcement for advanced dungeons. Anything about advanced dungeons had always been a spotlight creator in this world, wasn’t it? I heard a remarkable result was enough to leave names on annals of history too.

In particular, this was true for nobles even more. And as a guild brimming with many noble kids, this was definitely the most anticipated piece of news for any of them.

I paused on my speech, letting the cheers quell down itself—or well, it didn't, so I had to raise my hand to calm them down.

"The party members, as I'd announced while back, will be I, Sierra, Lana, Ester, and Karua. With mine and Sierra's advanced-grade equipment, we've finally set ourselves on the starting line! Since we've exhausted our materials in making these two set, we're going to first gather enough for everyone."

I'd been telling everyone for a while about our advanced dungeon exploration strategy, but since everyone was together, I decided to reiterate it once more.

"I think everyone should be aware by now that Hannah can use her abilities to rank up grades of intermediate boss drop materials to advanced-grade. So, we will focus on equipping the rest of the party members. Once we've firmly set our foot on an advanced dungeon, the rest is pretty straightforward. It's what we've been continuing to do so far. Start with boss farming, acquire even more resources, collect more job tickets, and then focus on equipment for others. With this much preparation, I bet everyone should be able to take their fights to advanced dungeons!"

"Wooah!"

The only problem was the beginning. As long as everyone had tune themselves to the new challenge, it would be just like any other dungeon run. We should be able to acquire tickets more often, and we could straight grab actual advanced-grade materials too.

I was not surprised why the beginning was always the hardest part. Imagine you'd to farm intermediate bosses over and again, then gather advanced-grade materials, have them go through alchemy, craft new equipment while also collecting enough job tickets.

Either way, we'd crossed that hard part.

Now, we just ought to do our best in gathering materials, and for that, everyone's help was indispensable.

"Once we've had enough, I have already decided to start with other guild member's equipment, starting with the one that most needs them. But to have that efficiency, we ought to arm remaining members of the vanguard party. This is where everyone comes in, or to be precise, it's a request. While we're gathering advanced-grade resources, I would like everyone else to farm «Fairy Dungeon» and «Altar Dungeon»."

Unlike games, there were our guild members to rely on in reality. By running both teams in parallel, we could save on spending too much time on one thing.

Once we'd our first party properly geared up, the focus would shift to the second party. With two teams challenging advanced dungeons together, the outcome was going to be more than just double. Then we'd focus on the next party, and then another until the whole guild was up to the mark to challenge the advanced dungeon!

Fuhahaha!

I summarised all of this to our guild members and asked for their cooperation.

I'd barely finished my words when Rika promptly stood up.

"It goes without saying. And you've never been wrong, Zephyr. I will do my best."

Oh, that made me happy.

I know I had said it myself that we're going to clear an advanced dungeon and even grind there, but to start on that parth alone was a matter of great achievement in this world. I wouldn't have been surprised if some had seen this as mere foolish rambling.

Yet, there wasn't a shred of doubt reflecting in Rika's eyes. She was confident we would be triumphant.

A moment later, as if just realising she'd forgotten to stand up for the same, an abrupt clap echoed, and Rika got up to her feet.

"Of course, you have my words as well, Zephyr-san! You can be rest assured about «Altar Dungeon» and its resource gathering!"

Reeled in by Rina's momentum, other members also expressed their affirmation for cooperation.

"I am interested to see how far Brave-kun will go. Can't say you can rely on me with my meagre stamina, but I guess, I will do what I can."

"Likewise, I'd put myself on line if it's to prepare Lana-sama's equipment."

Following Nico and Shizu's prompt, I could feel everyone's affirmation for this cooperation.

With these four people in the lead, even the «Rank 10» dungeon wouldn't pose a threat at all. I was grateful for them.

I took another firm glance at everyone present, and made my last remark—

"Everyone, let's do our best to get everyone in the advanced dungeon!"

"Of course!"

A chorus of firm affirmation filled the room, and with this meeting as the starting point, «Eden» had finally opened its curtain on its advanced dungeon journey.
