Reincarnated in a Fantasy World Where I Can Conquer All Women
Chapter 129: Fight Against The Goblins 5
Elaria was sitting quietly near the Destriers.
Lyriana was standing next to her.
As if she had been there from the beginning.
Adam stared at them.
"How did you get back before me?"
Lyriana replied matter-of-factly:
"I’m faster."
Adam narrowed his eyes.
"You were in the cave."
"Maybe."
"I knew I was right to have that bad feeling."
She smiled.
Adam decided he would deal with this later.
He turned back toward the entrance.
Then he took up a position about ten meters away.
A large bow appeared.
He nocked an arrow.
Elaria observed the cave.
Screams still echoed from within.
Then...
A first figure appeared in the smoke.
Adam raised the bow.
Not yet.
An ordinary goblin.
She took a few steps.
Then collapsed, too weak to continue.
Another arrived.
Same thing.
Then several more.
The chaos within had completely destroyed the organization the Queen was trying to maintain.
Adam waited.
"Not yet..."
A much more imposing figure appeared.
A High Goblin.
Then a second.
A Shaman.
And behind...
The Queen.
Only four individuals still seemed capable of truly fighting.
Adam frowned slightly.
"Many are missing."
Lyriana replied:
"They probably couldn’t make it through the tunnels."
The Queen finally reached the outside.
Her breathing was heavy.
Her armor was covered in dust.
She looked behind her.
Then at Adam.
Then at the two elves.
Her expression shifted from confusion...
To understanding.
Then to absolute rage.
Adam raised his bow.
The Shaman began to form a spell.
"You first."
The bowstring snapped.
The projectile interrupted the spell before it could be cast.
The Shaman collapsed.
Adam immediately laid a second arrow.
A High Goblin tried to intervene.
Too late.
Second shot.
She fell in turn.
Adam sheathed his bow.
The second High Goblin charged.
A sword appeared.
Adam advanced.
A few exchanges were enough.
The fighter was powerful compared to ordinary goblins.
But not powerful enough.
Adam parried.
Shifted his body.
Then took advantage of the opening.
The High Goblin collapsed.
Only she remained.
The Queen.
Adam looked up.
"Finally."
Eyes of the World sprang into action.

Adam remained silent.
Level fifty-two.
The most powerful monster he had ever faced himself.
And despite her weakened state...
The pressure she exuded was completely different from other goblins.
Adam could have asked Elaria or Lyriana to finish.
He didn’t.
He sheathed his weapon.
Then he drew another sword.
A simple blade.
Balanced.
"Let’s see what my level nineteen is really capable of."
He raised his left hand.
A blue magic circle appeared.
The water gradually enveloped his blade.
Not an enormous mass.
A dense layer.
Stable.
Adam looked at his opponent.
"Fire against water."
The Queen finally caught her breath.
Her gaze descended to the bodies of her last guards.
Then to Adam.
She understood.
Everything.
Her colony.
Her warriors.
Her commanders.
Her shamans.
Everything had vanished.
Because of this man.
A roar echoed through the mountain.
His greatsword appeared in his hand.
A red flame engulfed him.
Adam tightened his grip.
"Come."
She charged.
Adam too.
The distance disappeared.
Ten meters.
Five.
One.
CLANG!
The two swords clashed.
Fire and water clashed.
Steam billowed around the two combatants.
The Queen thrust forward brutally.
Adam immediately felt her power.
Strong.
Much stronger than the High Goblins.
But not enough to completely push him back.
He changed the angle of his sword.
The Queen’s blade slid along his.
Adam shifted to the right.
The Queen tried to correct.
Too late.
Adam attacked her supporting leg to break her balance.
The Queen staggered.
Her sword immediately rose.
Adam saw it.
He didn’t try to block.
He stepped back.
The flaming blade flashed past him.
Then he switched weapons.
Sword.
Gone.
Warhammer.
The Queen barely had time to raise her head.
Adam used the full force of his rotation.
A single impact.
The Queen collapsed.
Silence.
Adam held the hammer raised for a few seconds.
No movement.
The fight was over.
He exhaled slowly.
Then sheathed the weapon.
"Level fifty-two..."
He looked at his hands.
"I’ve really improved."
Lyriana and Elaria were already approaching.
Adam turned to face them.
"Well?"
Elaria was about to answer.
But Adam suddenly raised a hand.
"Wait."
He looked at the entrance, still filled with smoke.
"We need to take care of this first."
A huge magic circle gradually appeared before him.
Elaria stopped.
Her eyes lit up immediately.
"Oh."
Adam turned his head slightly.
"What?"
"New spell?"
He smiled.
"Yes."
"Since when?"
"Vespera and I built it in our spare time."
Elaria looked at the magical structure.
Several rings.
Runes of circulation.
A much more complex set than a typical wind spell.
"Function?"
"To abruptly displace a large mass of air from an area."
Elaria looked at the cave.
Then she understood.
"For fires."
"Exactly."
Adam activated the spell.
The wind roared.
A huge mass of air was drawn out of the tunnels.
Black smoke began to pour from the entrance in a continuous stream.
Lyriana stepped back several meters.
Elaria watched the circle intently.
In a few moments...
Most of the smoke was extracted.
And inside...
The flames, deprived of airflow, began to subside significantly.
Adam broke the spell.
"Now we wait."
Lyriana looked at the entrance.
"Why?"
"Because the air inside isn’t immediately breathable." "
He pointed to the cave.
"We need to let the pressure equalize and the outside air flow in naturally."
As if to confirm his words...
A low rumble could be heard.
The outside air suddenly began to be drawn toward the mine.
Adam’s hair stood on end.
Lyriana took a step to the side.
Elaria adjusted her glasses.
"Interesting."
Adam smiled.
"Vespera said exactly the same thing."
"The circle is effective."
"She said that too."
After a few minutes...
The phenomenon diminished.
Adam used World Eyes.
Then Delimiter.
"Now."
The three of them entered.
The interior was nothing like it had been a few hours before.
The chambers were silent.
" Some structures had been damaged.
Others were simply blackened.
They cautiously inspected each gallery.
One chamber.
Then another.
No resistance.
Adam had already eliminated most of the outlying groups.
As for those in the central chamber...
The trap had finished the job.
A few creatures had managed to reach the tunnels before collapsing.
Others had been caught in the chaos caused by the fire.
But none seemed to have managed to escape through another exit.
Lyriana checked several passages.
"Nothing."
Elaria used the earth spirits to examine some of the walls.
"No recently concealed tunnels."
Adam sighed.
"So it’s really over."
They continued the inspection nonetheless.
The Queen’s chamber contained a few interesting items.
Nothing extraordinary.
Mostly possessions from past attacks.
Coins.
Weapons.
Some jewelry.
Two bags of kernels.
Several tools.
Some fabrics.
And a few items that probably belonged to past travelers or merchants.
Adam put everything in his inventory.
Elaria surveyed the area.
"Not much for such a large colony."
Lyriana nodded.
"Which confirms it was recent."
Adam looked at the walls.
"No traps either."
"No."
Lyriana pointed to several tunnels.
"An older Queen would have already fortified the entrances."
Elaria continued:
"Traps. Defensive positions. Rudimentary spells. Food stores. Escape routes."
Adam looked around.
None of that.
Just a growing colony.
"So we really did arrive at the right time."
Elaria nodded.
"Yes."
Her tone became slightly more serious.
"A few more months and this situation could have become a catastrophe for the neighboring villages." "
Lyriana added:
"And once several more tribes were absorbed, it would probably have required sending a large military force or several groups of high-ranking adventurers."
Adam looked at the great hall one last time.
"So much the better."
They headed back outside.
This time...
For real.
When they reached the open air, Adam took a deep breath.
Then he looked at the two elves.
"Good."
He opened his arms slightly.
"Now I can ask."
Lyriana smiled.
"Ask what?"
"How was it?"
Elaria answered first.
"Your idea of avoiding a direct confrontation with five hundred opponents was correct."
Adam nodded.
"I had no desire to test my Endurance against an entire army."
"The best part," she continued, "was that you used the environment instead of relying solely on your stats."
Adam smiled.
A compliment.
Then he grew suspicious.
"And the bad part?"
Elaria replied immediately:
"You should have analyzed the consequences of the wind spell more precisely before using it inside."
Adam blinked.
"It worked."
"This time."
She adjusted her glasses.
"In another structure, abruptly altering the airflow could move the fire in an unforeseen direction."
Adam nodded.
"Okay. That’s right."
Then Lyriana spoke.
"For me, your infiltration was better than your final plan."
Adam turned to her.
"Really?"
"Yes." "
She raised a finger.
"You observed."
Second finger.
"Waited."
Third.
"Separated the patrols instead of always confronting them directly."
Then she smiled.
"But..."
Adam closed his eyes.
"Of course there’s a but."
"You let someone escape."
He opened his eyes again.
"I knew something had happened to that goblin!"
