Reincarnated in a Fantasy World Where I Can Conquer All Women
Chapter 100: The first night in the Bridal Chamber 1
After closing his status panel, Adam sat for a few seconds on the edge of the enormous bed.
Then all the energy that had kept him focused during the readings seemed to vanish in an instant.
He slumped back.
The mattress immediately adjusted to his weight, sinking in just enough to support his body without making him feel like he was sinking.
"Finally..."
His arms stretched out to his sides.
The day had been far too long.
And yet, when he looked back on everything that had happened, he could hardly believe that only one day had passed.
Selene.
Elaria.
Shiora.
Vespera.
The Ancient Weapons.
The Journey to the Elven Realms.
The Readings.
And now...
He was going to share this enormous room with seven women who were still unpacking.
Adam closed his eyes.
"This is going to get chaotic."
He had barely finished speaking when a slight movement of mana appeared near the entrance.
He opened his eyes again.
Elena had just walked through the door.
She wasn’t carrying anything at all.
No bag.
No trunk.
Not even an extra garment under her arm.
Adam sat up slightly.
"That’s it?"
Elena gave him an amused look.
"Of course not. Everything’s in my Promise Ring."
"Ah."
He’d almost forgotten about the storage space built into the rings.
Elena approached the bed.
"And you? Have you unpacked all your things yet?"
Adam gestured vaguely toward the room.
"I hardly had to do anything."
"What do you mean?"
"The Chamber tidies itself. You just have to bring your things here."
Elena looked around.
"Seriously?"
Adam nodded.
"Try it."
The knight didn’t need to be asked twice.
She opened her storage space.
A first pile of clothes appeared.
Then several books.
Boots.
Boxes.
Cleaning supplies.
Light armor.
Two heavier suits of armor.
Several secondary weapons.
And various personal items that Adam had never seen before.
They didn’t even have time to touch the floor.
A faint golden light swept through the room.
The clothes disappeared first.
Adam instinctively sensed that they had just been transferred to the gigantic walk-in closet.
The books followed.
A wall that had been perfectly smooth until then opened silently.
Shelves appeared.
The books arranged themselves on them, sorted by size.
Then came the armor.
This time, the Chamber reacted differently again.
A side section of the dressing room expanded.
Several mannequins appeared.
Elena’s signet armor was placed on the first one.
Her other armor occupied the others.
Elena remained motionless.
"...Okay."
Adam smiled.
"Handy, isn’t it?"
She went into the dressing room to check.
A minute later, she came out.
"Even my clothes are already sorted."
"By what?"
"Type, season, and use, apparently."
Adam thought for a moment.
"I’m beginning to think this Chamber is more organized than all of us put together." "
"It’s not particularly difficult in your case."
He looked at her.
"Thank you."
Elena smiled innocently.
A second mana movement appeared near the door.
Then a third.
The others began to return.
Selene arrived with the exact same method as Elena.
Nothing in her hands.
But as soon as she emptied her storage space, Adam realized she had likely transferred a significant portion of her old apartment.
Clothes.
Training equipment.
Maintenance supplies for her weapons.
Books.
A few souvenirs.
And a surprising amount of food stored in enchanted boxes.
Adam looked at the pile.
Then at Selene.
"Was the food really necessary?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because I like to eat."
Adam had no answer to that.
Neither did the Chamber, apparently.
It simply created a new, suitable storage space.
Shiora arrived shortly after.
The sheer number of chests she conjured forced Adam to sit up completely.
"Shiora..."
"What?"
"Why are there so many safes?"
"Important documents."
Adam looked at one of them.
"That one contains coins."
"Financial documents."
"They’re literally gold coins."
"They document my wealth."
Adam gave up.
The Chamber created several secure cabinets in a section of the dressing room.
Shiora watched them appear.
"Interesting."
Adam immediately recognized her expression.
"No."
"I haven’t said anything yet."
"You’re already thinking about the commercial value of the position."
"Perhaps."
Isadora arrived next.
As Adam expected, his belongings were much more organized.
Clothes.
A few weapons.
Jewelry.
Books.
Personal files.
But above all, an impressive quantity of administrative documents that she had clearly hesitated to leave behind.
Adam watched them disappear toward the library.
"I remind you that once the door is closed, you won’t be able to work on them."
"I know."
"I prefer to double-check."
"Good for you."
Vespera arrived with mostly books.
A lot of books.
Adam watched the pile appear.
Then a second.
Then a third.
"How many did you bring?"
"Not many."
Adam stared at the hundreds of books.
"We definitely don’t have the same definition of ’not many.’"
The Chamber, however, seemed pleased.
The small section of shelves created for Elena grew.
More.
And more.
In less than a minute, a veritable library appeared in a side wing.
Long bookshelves reached almost to the ceiling.
Several desks appeared between them.
Armchairs.
Magical lamps.
Reading tables.
Even small individual alcoves for quiet.
Vespera observed the result.
"Acceptable."
Adam looked at the bookcase.
Then at her.
"Acceptable?"
"Yes."
"Okay."
He didn’t press the matter.
Elaria arrived next.
And immediately...
Adam noticed something.
She was carrying tools.
A lot of tools.
Hammers.
Pliers.
Precision instruments.
Crystals.
Enchanting materials.
Metal plates.
Small runic devices.
Even the ancient bow she had just acquired a few hours earlier.
Adam narrowed his eyes.
Elaria noticed.
"What?"
"But I said the Chamber wasn’t a laboratory."
"When the door is open, work is permitted."
Adam remained silent.
She was right.
Elaria continued with perfect composure:
"It would therefore be ineffective not to have materials when the Chamber is open."
Adam ran a hand over his face.
"You had that argument prepared."
"Yes."
The Chamber reacted before he could continue.
A section of wall lit up.
Then it opened.
A new passage appeared.
Adam stood up, intrigued.
They both entered.
On the other side was now...
A workshop.
Not as gigantic as the Artisans’ Guild’s, but more than enough for Elaria’s daily work.
Workbenches.
Storage.
A small enchanted forge.
An enchanting area.
Tool racks.
An alchemy table.
Ventilation systems.
Built-in protection.
Adam remained silent.
Elaria, on the other hand, seemed extremely pleased.
"Perfect."
Adam looked up at the ceiling.
"You’re on her side, aren’t you?"
The Chamber, of course, didn’t reply.
"Treason." "
Elaria had already put her tools inside.
"I remind you that once the main door is closed, this workshop will be unusable for work."
Adam sighed.
"Yes, yes."
Lyriana was the last to arrive.
And she was also the one who surprised Adam the most.
At first, nothing unusual.
Clothes.
A few books.
Several documents.
Then the weapons appeared.
Two daggers.
Other smaller blades.
A bow.
Several concealable knives.
Metal wire.
Hooks.
Devices that Adam didn’t even recognize.
Then came the traps.
And finally...
Several small sealed boxes.
Adam immediately sensed something unpleasant emanating from some of them.
He narrowed his eyes.
"Lyriana."
The dark elf froze.
"Yes?"
Adam pointed to a box.
"What’s in it?"
Silence.
"Lyriana."
She looked away slightly.
"Professional products."
Adam stood up.
"Are they poisons?"
"Technically..."
"Lyriana."
She finally looked at him.
"Yes."
Adam remained silent for a few seconds.
Then he pointed to the boxes.
"You don’t bring poison into a room where everyone is sleeping."
Lyriana’s ears drooped slightly.
Her eyes took on an almost hurt expression.
"But it’s..."
"There are no buts."
Adam was about to ask her to take everything out again when the Room reacted.
A new door appeared to the side.
Everyone turned toward it.
Adam received information directly into his mind at once.
He blinked.
"...What?"
The new room was completely isolated.
Reinforced walls.
Airtight shelving.
Containment systems.
Separate compartments.
Security runes.
A veritable vault for hazardous substances.
And above all...
New information accompanied the change.
As long as any poison remained inside the Bridal Chamber, its harmful effects on the authorized occupants were neutralized.
Adam remained silent.
Lyriana slowly raised her eyes to him.
"So..."
Adam stared at her.
She waited.
He finally exhaled.
"Very well."
His expression immediately brightened.
"But everything goes in the containment room."
"Okay."
"No poison in the dressing room."
"Obviously."
"Not under the bed."
Lyriana seemed slightly offended.
"I don’t do that."
Selene coughed behind them.
Lyriana turned away.
"What?"
"Nothing."
Adam decided it was best not to ask any more questions.
When everything was finally put away, the Chamber had changed considerably.
The dressing room had become even larger.
A library now occupied an entire wing.
Elaria had her workshop.
A specialized storage area housed the weapons.
A containment room protected Lyriana’s hazardous substances.
And several other secondary spaces had been added naturally as needed.
Adam observed the result.
"This Chamber literally builds the rooms we need."
Vespera nodded.
"It seems to interpret the function of the objects brought in and adapt its organization accordingly."
Elaria added:
"Not just their size. Their use."
Shiora looked around.
"Its value has just increased again."
Adam sighed.
"Naturally."
He then invited them all to join him in the large relaxation pit.
The area still resembled a huge, empty pool filled with a soft material, surrounded by cushions.
Each settled in comfortably.
Elaria still possessed the ancient bow.
Lyriana had finally abandoned her poisons.
Shiora had managed to bring a notebook despite Adam’s request that she simply come to talk.
He decided to ignore her.
