Reincarnated Hero System

Chapter 770 - 770: Plans and Preparations: Part 5!

“Fate Manipulation, David…it’s a very difficult-to-deal-with power.

Unfortunately, an equally difficult-to-deal-with person has said power. With it, it’s not hard to trace the fates of the deceased Demonic Hand members back to the person who conceived the plan that led to their deaths.”

That was all Evan said before turning towards the section where the Living Legends involved sat and spoke.

“I’m sure you all have been wanting to hear this since.

Those who have been promised certain benefits will receive their benefits in due time. I’d make a trip over to Kasteblum today and…”

Turning to Gavin’s projection, he continued.

“…I’d trouble you with the distribution of their ‘payments’.

Also, I’d need you to clear me at the border. Some of the stuff have enough magic power to flatten Kasteblum several times over so I’m sure there’d be a little security hold-up.”

[Are you sure it’s just gonna be ‘a little’?]

One of the Kings present couldn’t help but retort when he heard Evan’s words, with some of them looking at Gavin and wondering if he’d allow Evan to bring such dangerous things into his homeland.

[Make sure to seal them properly.]

“Don’t worry about that, you’d need a god to break the seals on those things.”

Evan remarked casually and one of the Living Legends laughed aloud upon hearing this.

[A god? Come on, there’s no way you can pull off a seal that strong…hahaha…ha…ha…]

His laugh slowly died down when he noticed that the Paladins of the ‘Church of Artemisia’ present did NOT refute Evan’s statement.

[Wait…he’s joking, right?]

Unfortunately for this man, his query was never going to get an answer as Evan got up from his seat and brought the meeting to a close.

“Thank you very much for your time everyone.

Now, if you’d excuse me, I have to meet with some ‘Veiled Legends’ in a few minutes.”

With that, Evan turned around and left the room, after casually revealing that he was in contact with hidden Legendary Level existences no one knew about.

◇ ◇ ◇

Evan finished his meeting with the Veiled Legends about half an hour later, after which he headed back to the Oak Avenue Manor.

He discovered that Eliza had left to go somewhere, and just left a message for her before leaving and going to the Tower of Trials in the ‘Cloud Piercing Isle’.

Unlike usual, he did not come here to fight monsters to level up, but to make use of the space to record a video.

A video that he hoped was never going to be played. Nevertheless, he did it because it was necessary if things didn’t go as planned.

“Come on, Domnik Velak gaining a Pseudo-Authority, the Dungeon Breaking suddenly, Bhak having an Extra Life…shit hasn’t been going well whenever ‘Disasters’ are involved.”

Evan muttered as he set up the camera and then took a few steps back, sitting down on the chair placed in front of it.

When he noticed the red light of the camera blinking, Evan put on a smile and spoke in a cheerful tone.

[What’s up, bros and…girls?

I probably should NOT use the name of a certain farming instrument.]

He chuckled lightly before continuing.

[Welcome to ‘Plans on what to do if Evan gets incapacitated and cannot be around for an extended period of time Part…5!’]

Evan held up his fingers, counting them to confirm the number was correct as he went on.

[Yes…it is as the very lengthy name says. If you guys are watching this, then some shit has hit the fan and I’m not around or wouldn’t be for quite a while.

So, these are Instructions on what to do if that actually happens.

Like I said, this is actually Part 5. I made quite a few of these.]

Holding up his fingers, he began counting down, putting down a finger for each name he listed.

[I made one for Osto, Cheverton, Lacertilia, the GWE-Wolfen War, and this now is the fifth…for Tarse.

Thankfully, I haven’t had to use Parts 1-4, so I hope I won’t use Part 5 eithe-]

Evan suddenly froze mid-sentence, not because of any interruption, but because he had a sudden realization.

[That…was a flag, wasn’t it?]

He facepalmed and heaved an exasperated sigh before looking up and speaking with a frown.

[Since I just doomed myself with my big mouth, I might as well get straight to explaining what I want you guys to do during this time.]

His expression then turned serious as he looked right at the camera lens.

[I have no idea whatever circumstances may cause this to be played and whatever effects it’d have on you, physically and emotionally.

But please, let’s kill the emotional side of things for a bit and put the cold logic first, for the sake of Aidos…]

[…and punching the Demon King in the face.

Roselia and Nadarus, you guys gotta at least get one in on the face.]

Evan laughed to himself after speaking, then rolled over a TV and switched it on, displaying a map of Tarse.

[Now then…let’s begin.]

◇ ◇ ◇

30 minutes later, Evan finished his recording and stored it in a memory device—a flash drive-like equipment that looked more like a hard drive—and packed it up into a sealed box.

As for the key to the seal, it was something he was going to give Eliza soon.

He put the box with the memory device away and pulled out a different box from his inventory, a small blue box covered in silk cloth. He opened it and looked at the two silver ‘things’ inside.

“I hope the Countess has gotten that sapphire…”

Eliza surely didn’t know the kind of surprise Evan had in store for her, and merely just imagining her reaction put a smile on his face.

“Well, let’s go deliver this to Peggy.”

Evan put the blue box away and got to his feet, returning to the Oak Avenue Manor through the Spatial Gate connecting the two Locations.

After this, he hopped right into the Waypoint not too far away and began the series of teleportations that led him to the Giant Bear Woods in Shelde, Duscon.

This was where he and Eliza were attacked by the Demonic Hand First Division Members last year, and where they encountered the Fake Heroes sent by the First Finger.

It was also where Evan had fought and lost against Craitid and seeing the forest that had been fully recreated with the help of magic, he smiled wryly.

“If I fought Craitid now…I’d totally wipe the floor with him.”

Muttering this to himself, he entered the Cave that led to “Aidos’ Underground Crystal Cove”.

“Peggy!”

That was the first thing he shouted upon entering the Garden, moments before he was tackled to the ground by a crowd of spirits that were ‘overjoyed’ to see him.

“Peggy! A little help here!”

Evan called out once more from under the heap of tiny young spirits that had barely formed consciousnesses, looking at the one being who could control them all with his Superior Spirit Authority.

It was a White Winged Pegasus, a High-Rank Light spirit and the same one who had healed Evan after his battle with Craitid last year. (Refer to Chapter 522.) (For first appearance, Refer to Chapter 477.)

[Evan Eris, I have a name.]

That was all he said as he watched the water spirits who were dragging Evan towards the Lake where Hydran was sleeping at the bottom.

Hearing this, Evan quickly behaved himself and called the spirit by his actual name and not the nickname he had given him.

“Alright, help me out here, Luceras.”

[That’s better.]

The Pegasus nodded before turning his gaze to the tiny water spirits who were instinctively dragging Evan to the lake.

They were new-borns and were very fragile, enough that Evan might kill them if he held them with a ‘little too much’ force, yet, they had enough strength to pull Evan along with them as they moved.

Evan’s ‘Loved By Nature’ title made it such that Spirits liked his presence, and these new-born water spirits were no different.

The thing was that as much as they liked Evan’s presence, they also liked the Lake they were born in so they were taking Evan there so they’d have the best of both worlds.

Simple as that.

They would have dragged him into the lake if the Pegasus Light Spirit, Luceras, did not ‘order’ them with his ‘High-Rank Spirit Authority’ and made them leave Evan alone.

Finally, Evan got up to his feet and dusted his clothes, while Luceras questioned him on why he did not just push them off him.

“Push them off? Dude, weren’t you here when I ‘pushed’ one off and it nearly died?! I sure as hell don’t wanna be responsible for killing off any new spirits…Kayla would have my head!”

[Then just bring her along with you.]

“I can’t because I don’t want her to know I’m here in the first place.”

True, Evan did not want anyone to know that he was in Duscon right now. He was even limiting the location sharing feature of his contracts so his contractors could barely tell his general direction.

[You are a strange one.

So? What is it this time?]

“Failsafe again.”

Evan replied and Luceras quickly understood what the boy was talking about. The Spirit opened his Inventory and brought out the other memory gem Evan had given him last year and Evan shattered it to pieces before handing him the device containing the video he had just recorded.

Before the year ended, Evan planned to hit Tarse and take out the ‘Fallen Celestial Deities’ once and for all. At least, the ones who were planning to kill millions.

To him, this was going to be his most dangerous venture yet.

Not because of the level of power these Celestials had, but because of their pasts.

He was going to be dealing with beings who had surpassed Transcendence once, Old Monsters who had lived hundreds of thousands of years.

Who knew what kind of schemes they could cook up if their plans went awry?

Leviah had done a good job of assassinating some of them over the past year and this reduced their numbers, however, Evan had her stop as he didn’t want them finding out who was responsible.

“Like always, if you do not receive any signal for 48 hours straight…”

[I should head to the GWE and see what’s wrong first.

If the goddess senses her divinity on the box and comes to find me, then I should have her congregate your companions in one location and give this to them. You’ve said this twice before so I know.]

“Good. Your reward would be unsealed when you make your delivery.”

Luceras nodded in affirmation as he put this new recording into his inventory, so Artemisia’s divinity that Evan had technically stolen did not leak out and attract her attention.

[Just what are you planning this time?]

“Nothing too serious. Just gonna kill a few Fallen Deities.”

[Is that so? Then I hope you get yeeted out into space so I can get my reward.]

“I certainly hope I don’t!!”

The Pegasus snorted when he heard Evan’s words, before turning around and stomping his foot, disappearing in a flash of light while Evan just sighed.

Suddenly, he sensed numerous gazes on him and quickly turned to run before he got swarmed by the new-born spirits again.

Volume 4 Outline.

Hey y’all, it’s your friendly neighbourhood author, _michael here. 👋🏽

As the heading stated, this is an outline for Volume 4, listing the Names of the various Main Story Arcs and Mini-Arcs of Volume 4.

I’m doing this so I don’t get any ideas and add something unnecessary which would end up making the Volume longer than planned.

But taking a moment to think about it, these are essentially spoilers in a way…if you can deduce what’s actually gonna happen from the names alone. (Goodluck with that 😆)

With that out of the way, let’s get right to it.

First off is the Earth V Arc, which has already concluded.

Next is Operation Synchro 2.0 which has just concluded.

After this, there’d be a little Mini-Arc which I was torn between titling as just The Invitation or Agnes’ Invitation. Whichever one floats your boat 🤷🏽‍♂️

The next Mini-Arc up on the list is Birthday and Proposal. Good luck guessing what that’s all about.

When that is done, the first Titular Arc of the Volume would begin.

The False gods Arc.

As hinted before, the main Antagonists of this Arc are not the Demonic Hand like usual, but the ‘Fallen Celestial Deities’.

The False gods Arc would be split into two Phases.

Phase 1 is one a lot of you have probably been waiting for. Some of you have already figured stuff out though.

It doesn’t really have a name like the others, but in my files on my PC, I titled it False god Kayla.

Phase 2, however, has an actual name. ‘Resurrected Sun, Heaven’s Fall.’

With this, the False gods arc would come to a close and then we’d have the most Important Arc of Volume 4.

Blast from the Future.

This would be the longest of Volume 4, it’d have many Mini-Arcs inside it. Crashlanding, Avengeance, Labyrinth of Forsaken Divines, The Nautical Crusade, Nemeses Reborn, The Annual Gozonian Interstellar Summit, -,-,The Infernal Dimension and finally, Cruotis Prime’s Apocalypse.

Cruotis Prime’s Apocalypse would mark the end of Blast from the Future, and by the end of this, A LOT of your questions would have been answered.

Like Evan’s real race, Artemisia’s Ulterior Motives in choosing him and many more.

After this, we’d get straight into the Second Titular Arc, and Final Arc of Volume 4.

Rifts in Space.

This would end Volume 4 and the end of Major Arcs concerning the Alpha Continent.

Now then, this is the end of this little Outline.

The next chapter would be an Interlude and a bit of a special one. It would be a Bonus Chapter so it would not interfere with the main story chapter schedule.

Thanks for your understanding and I look forward to you continuing on our Reincarnated Hero’s journey.

This has been _michael.

Over and Out! ✌🏽
