  • Next Chapter

Before all time and space there was only one living thing in the alive Sea of Chaos known as the Great Snake Apep.

Choas that kept everything hidden in himself always keeping a balance but it also loved the only living thing in him.

But crouption of time wasn’t something that the choas could run from. It took over, killing the spirit of Sea, leaving behind the Great Snake Apep alone.

The loneliness of the only living thing was too much for Apep which lead for the birth of another personality in him known as Atum.

Atum who became the first God of Creation born from Apep created the rest of his world.

But the separation made Apep feel insecure of himself and the Great Snake tired to retrieve what he lost.

His every attempt would always be a failure because Atum always found a way to reincarnate himself in a different body.

Though the reincarnation never ended fuirtfully, leading to split of his own personality.

The constant attempt of the Apep for the retreval of his complete self and failure because of reincarnation created a loop.

The loop that made Atum kill his own personalities and Apep losing himself in the flow of time.

The loop that lead to the last two personalities of Atum that merged to become Amun-Ra.

[Himmel’s POV]

Darkness, utter complete darkness that belonged to unknown.

I have no idea how long has it been but I have been floating in this darkness.

The darkness that was once scary had now become something that made him feel at peace.

I don’t have to fight it. I don’t have to fear it. All I need to do was embrace it which quilled the hate in my heart.

However, as time passed the things that made me returned back to myself.

The life that I lived. The people I loved. They memories of my life replayed in my mind.

Memories that turned recent in no time. Memories of that girl’s death whom I sore to protect with my life.

’... Shyamal.’

The grief and pain that was supressed behind a tough deminor came out in the from of trickling droplets.

I think I was crying but it was hard to tell in the darkness.

Time was irrelevant here so I don’t even remember how long I cried. Days? Weeks? Months?

I had no idea but I did cried a lot.

Though once the grief subsided, my desire to return came back more reseloute than ever.

I tired to tired to wake up. Scream. Break.

But in the end the darkness did not let me things go in my way.

In the end all I could do was float in silence while my mind kept on reminding me of all the mistakes I made.

What happened to Shyamal was my fault. My weakness was what took her from me and I hated that I was still weak.

"Huff..."

’Hm?’

When I tired to sigh I felt a voice coming back to me.

I tired to feel and this I really did felt something that I had always wanted.

...I felt power that was familiar yet unfamiliar to me.

With power came the brightness that made me understand my line of sight.

My eyes shot open to see that my blurry gaze was level, my cheek pressed flat against a smooth, cussy bed.

With an unfamiliarity of my own body, I slowly got up using my hands to push myself up.

My body was really heavy, it was like someone had tied heavy load on me.

’..What is going on...’

My train of thoughts stop when I looked down and noticed the colour of my hand.

Unlike my hand which was white in colour, my current hand was a shining glowing golden.

’A golden skin?’

I turned my head around to look at the place only to find myself in an unfamiliar room that was painted dark brown.

Everything in the room was ancient, most of the things were made of mud but it didn’t took their beauty away.

’... W-what?’

My mind refused to render the information that my eyes were seeing.

Slowly, I got up from the bed and moved towards a full body mirror that was almost seven feet tall.

The polished bronze mirror reflected a figure that made my footsteps come to a halt

He was far taller than I remembered.

Golden skin shimmered faintly beneath the light pouring in through the windows.

Long golden hair fell past his shoulders like flowing silk.

His features were sharp and perfectly symmetrical, carrying an unnatural dignity that made him seem less human and more like a statue carved by the gods themselves.

The golden eyes that weren’t mine looked back at me with confusion in them.

I had seen that face before....which made me even more anxious.

I haven’t even gotten out of the shock when the door of the room opened up.

Six women walked inside wearing a revealing dress that had a deep cleavage and a open waist.

They all had sun-kissed skin with long black hair and beautiful face.

"It’s time for your bath, my lord." One of them spoke and they all turned and walked towards another door within the room.

Confused all I could do was walk after them inside an enormous bathroom.

One of them who I presumed where the maids, came forward and took off the robe I was wearing.

I stood naked for a long second before I quickly threw myself in the warm water.

Two maids came closer and began to rub my shoulder from outside of the enormous bathtub.

"Goddess Isis had asked for your presence, my lord."

My mind barely registered what the maid had said. "...Isis?"

The name alone was enough to make my heart skip a beat. The Goddess of Magic and wife of Osiris.

One of the [Primordial Evil] that had always been an enemy to me.

I looked around once again past the faces of the girls that bathed me.

Stone pillars carved with lotus flowers held up the ceiling while warm steam drifted lazily through the air.

Gold-lined murals covered every wall, depicting battles between gods, the rising of the sun, and a giant serpent coiling around the heavens.

None of it felt fake and not any of it felt like a dream.

The maids quietly poured warm water over my shoulders, carefully washing away the dried blood and dust that had somehow remained on my body.

"My lord?" One of them tilted her head. "Is something troubling you?"

"...No." My voice came out automatically.

She smiled politely before returning to her work.

I lowered my gaze toward the water and instead of my own reflection, I saw ’his’ face.

’...What happened once I lost consciousness?’

The last thing I remembered was Morningstar dragging me toward the Sun.

"My lord." Another maid bowed respectfully.

"Lady Isis has been waiting since sunrise. She said it was important."

"....I need to understand what the hell is going on with me.’ I thought as I slowly stood from the bath.

The maids respectfully averted their eyes while bringing over a long white linen garment embroidered with golden thread.

They helped drape it over my shoulders before fastening a broad golden belt around my waist.

A heavy necklace shaped like a falcon settled against my chest.

Golden bracelets followed and finally one of them carefully placed a white-and-gold crown upon my head.

The instant it touched my forehead, images exploded inside my mind.

Images of millions if not billions of people kneeling and praying to me.

Temples stretching farther than the eye could see with all of them worshiping the blazing sun.

"Huff..."

The visions disappeared as quickly as they had come.

The eldest maid quietly opened the great stone doors.

Beyond them stretched a palace unlike anything I had ever seen.

Massive sandstone columns rose toward the sky.

Walls of polished gold reflected the morning sun.

Rows of guards in bronze armor immediately knelt the moment they saw me.

The maids became my guide as they slowly began to lead me towards a different area in the place.

Whoever came in my contact knelt without exception. The fear they rediated was clear for me to interpret.

Even the desire of those who wish to harm me lay bare.

Finally,i I was brought to the throne room which was bigger than my own mansion.

Hundreds of massive columns supported a ceiling painted like the cosmos. Golden banners hung from impossible heights.

The guards stationed outside struck the butts of their spears against the ground.

In the noise they created, I slowly raise up the staircase and sat down on the throne.

Only then did my gaze shifted towards the woman who was walking behind me all this time.

She was a tall woman with long olive hair that had ash-coloured highlights.

The woman slowly stood by my side when I heard her voice in my head. "Be careful of what is to come."

Before I could look at her the door of the Thorne room opened up once again.

One of the soldiers stepped forward and announced in a booming voice.

"The Protector Of Our Relam! The Messiah! The Periaoh! The One Who Rule Us All! The Killer of Choas!!"

He took in a deep breath and continued the rest like a high pitched song.

"BE BLESSED TO BE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE SUN GOD AMUN-RA!!"
