218 A Move
Qing Shi nodded, looking at the Grand Elder again.
He said, “Your grandson wants to challenge me to a fight, and I want this to be a fight to the death, will you allow it?”
His voice was low but it seemed as if it resounded loudly because of the words fight to the death.
Whether Yue Yan or Grand Elder, the two of them were equally shocked.
The former seemed to want to stop Qing Shi, but the Grand Elder stared at his own grandson.
Yue Huan, on the other hand, became furious because Qing Shi’s words sounded like he was saying that he couldn’t decide what he wanted.
He took out two curved swords then stepped towards Qing Shi and shouted, “I will cut off my own head if I can’t kill you!”
A youth conflict becomes a drama of the older generation.
Qin Yuan shook his head as he watched the situation get hotter.
In the end, the fight didn’t happen. The reason for that was because the Sect Master insisted that it not be done even though the Grand Elder agreed with it.
When the elders returned to the sect, only then did Qin Yuan and Jiang Xin descend from the ark.
Yue Wuji, perhaps because he felt they were a bit strange approached them.
“Brother, sister, follow me, I will prepare a nice place to live for both of you,” he told them.
He took them to a crater that was slightly different from the others because the buildings there were very luxurious, even more luxurious than the buildings in the elders’ territory.
There is even a very clear lake, full of beautiful fish.
Some of the disciples who saw where Yue Wuji had taken them were somewhat astonished because the only guests who could stay there were usually big guests.
When he arrived in front of one of the pavilions, Yue Wuji invited Qin Yuan and Jiang Xin to enter.
“Please, brother and sister,” he said.
Qin Yuan actually felt strange being called that, but he didn’t want to do anything either.
He and Jiang Xin casually stepped into the pavilion under Yue Wuji’s observation.
The man continued to watch them, as if he wanted to see their expressions which had not changed at all.
“Strange!” He said after Qin Yuan closed the pavilion door.
He shook his head before walking away.
On the way, he seemed to receive a message, probably from the Sect Master because he went straight to his place.
It was very crowded there, some disclipes seemed to be preparing for a ceremony.
Yue Wuji entered through a special door, which led directly into a hall.
There, the Sect Master, Yue Yan, sitting together with Qing Shi, was chatting.
The old man said, “considering your strength, I’m pretty sure you can beat that brat. But in the end, he is the old dog’s grandson, he must have given him some dangerous things, something that could kill you.”
“So that’s why you stopped me?” Qing Shi was shocked.
He also looked confused because his master referred to the Grand Elder as an old dog.
The old man nodded, he continued, “I have something to tell you later.”
After saying that, he looked to the side, at Yue Wuji who had just appeared.
“I heard you sent the two people who came with Shi to the Moon Pavilion, is there anything strange about them?” he asked.
Hearing the question, Qing Shi became shocked.
Although he didn’t know what the Moon Pavilion was, he guessed it was a special place reserved only for special people.
“Yes, they are very mysterious,” Yue Wuji replied.
He looked at Qing Shi as he said that.
The youth finally showed a doubtful expression.
Yue Wuji asked him. “Junior brother, did they really arrive with you?”
“Mm!” Qing Shi seemed at a loss as to what to say.
He thought, ‘aren’t they what I imagined them to be? But their appearance is indeed something inconceivable, why am I so stupid to think so simple.’
He came to a conclusion but he didn’t dare say it.
Fortunately, the master didn’t ask anything either. He just said, “Okay, let’s not talk about them anymore. If they are strong, it means they are really very strong.”
…
One day later!
Rumble!
The sky above the Divine Moon World suddenly rumbled very loudly while the land shook violently.
People were shocked by that, wondering what was going on.
Just a moment after that, they suddenly saw an enormous blue light, much bigger than the sky itself.
It moved towards the Divine Moon World.
Right behind that blue light, a red light filled with killing intent followed.
Qin Yuan and Jiang Xin who were chatting in the pavilion courtyard looked up at the sky.
The first one said, “they are still fighting and have now reached this place.”
It was of course just a coincidence because their fight was moving around and this second happened to be here.
Within that blue light, Qin Yuan saw a man, looking to be in his mid-30s.
He was wearing blue armor, holding a very sharp spear.
His condition didn’t look all right.
Some parts of his armor had cracked and there was blood pouring out.
He stared back as thousands of swords flew towards him.
“Xi Nichang, you’re crazy, how many times do I have to say that I don’t have it,” he shouted loudly, increasing his speed and flying around and around to dodge the swords.
He didn’t seem to care about the Divine Moon World in front of him, even ready to crash into it.
A formation appeared above that world, but just as soon as it appeared, it instantly trembled and was probably about to crack.
“I won’t believe it until you let me examine your body.” An answer came. The voice was smooth yet cold.
A woman, looking to be in her early 30s with slightly curly chestnut hair appeared.
Her figure in a long purple dress was so charming that it was hard to describe.
She was like a being from Heaven as her face was completely engraved to perfection, nothing lacking at all. Even her skin was like snow in the sky, completely out of contact with the dust.
She moves slowly but her steps pierce spacetime directly so she can go further than the fastest creatures.
Seeing that woman, people were amazed but their bodies trembled to sweat, something strange but can happen when you see a very beautiful woman with strength as big as the sky.
In her hand, a transparent red sword appeared, seemingly created from mere energy, devoid of any metal.
Maybe it really was just created from energy but the pressure it emitted made all metal vibrate.
A crimson sky appeared in that space, hundreds of times larger than the Moon Divine World.
“Y-you’re crazy,” said the blue-haired man.
He didn’t hesitate any longer as he flew towards the Divine Moon World.
“Sea King, please don’t come here.” An old man’s voice echoed from that world, sounding quivering.
No figure appeared and the Sea King also ignored the plea.
Seeing that, the owner of the voice finally chose to speak to Xi Nichang.
“First Venerable, there are many living beings here, your attack can cause their death.”
Even though Xi Nichang’s eyes looked like they had no desire other than killing, her eyes still narrowed when she heard that.
However, in the end she didn’t stop at all.
“They will survive if I manage to kill this dog,” she said.
“No, the odds are too low.”
“Shut up, old pig! Or I’ll destroy your world first.”
“…”
“How cruel,” said Qin Yuan who was watching from below.
“Are you going to stop it?” Jiang Xin asked.
“Well, after all, it’s not that difficult,” Qin Yuan replied.
He raised his finger.
Right in front of the Sea King, a black hole appeared, as large as the Divine Moon World itself.
Seeing that, the King’s eyes immediately opened wide.
“W-what?” He said in a trembling voice.
He stopped and subconsciously took a step back.
Of course, it was only for a moment.
Paying no heed to anything, he turned right.
Xi Nichang who was also surprised quickly chased after him.
However, the woman’s gaze was fixed on the Divine Moon World.
Her red eyes shone brightly, as if wanting to see through the black hole, which unfortunately failed.
“Who are you?” She said.
Her voice spread across the Divine Moon World.
“Only a passerby happened to stop at this place,” Qin Yuan replied.
“I see! I hope we can meet again somewhere else.”
…
Qing Shi was watching from his room, he was full of sweat seeing two indescribable creatures fighting above the sky of the world that he thought was unreachable.
When he heard Qin Yuan’s voice, he jumped in surprise.
“H-he is,” he said in a trembling voice.
It was the same for Yue Wuji who was in the air with a posture ready to withstand the attacks that fell on the sect.
Although he seemed calmer, his chaotic aura suggested that his mind might be frozen.
Yue Yan who was standing not far from him narrowed his eyes. Slowly he said, “is t-that?”
Unfortunately, only Qing Shi and Yue Wuji had heard Qin Yuan’s voice clearly, so only they knew.
Maybe even if later the others heard Qin Yuan’s voice, they might not notice it because the first voice they heard was his majestic voice.
