Chapter 738 Message
738 Bad and Good News
After a couple of trips, Ning and the slime managed to bring back all of the beasts to Nulwurn.
By the time they were done, the sun was halfway into the sky. Ning couldn’t help but sigh at the amount of time it had taken him.
Of course, the job wasn’t done yet.
After all the beasts had arrived, he now had to help them build some houses and other facilities for them.
Food and water weren’t scarce as they were in a rainforest, but the atmosphere was very humid and some of these beasts desperately needed shelter or they couldn’t live here at all.
So, Ning used the lumber he had gathered in the other planet and had the system build houses using them.
To his surprise, building these houses took him half the energy it had taken him to teleport to the other side of the sun.
By the time he was done with it, it was full noon.
The slime looked at the open area with a lot of buildings and couldn’t help but feel a little emotional. It had been his dream to find housing for these beasts for nearly 2 years, and finally, it had been fulfilled.
“Thank you, brother,” the slime spoke up.
“You don’t need to thank me,” Ning said. “I just helped because I like helping.”
Ning let the beasts be by themselves so that they could adapt to these surroundings. At the same time, the slime decided to go around the island, trying to befriend the monsters whose homes they had invaded and destroyed.
He hoped he could even tame them and get them to live with them.
Ning returned back to Arena only to find that it was late afternoon. He had already eaten on the ship, so he wasn’t sure what he was even doing in the cafeteria.
He spoke to the system and asked it to find Saphandra. To his surprise, she was fighting against the beasts in the stage today.
It seemed, that the boss had decided to make her the next fighter in the Man Vs Beast fight.
Ning was watching her fight a lioness beast from high in the arena when he felt a tap on his shoulder.
He turned around to find that it was one of the staff. “Yes?” he asked.
“The boss wanted me to give this to you,” the staff said and handed him a piece of paper.
Ning looked even higher in the arena towards the tower at the side where the boss was watching the fight. He saw Ning look toward him and waved his hands in greeting.
Ning gave a small smile and waved back before opening the paper to see what it was.
“Oh, my earnings from yesterday,” Ning said out loud in surprise. He had completely forgotten about it.
“14 thousand huh?” he thought. That was a lot, but not as much as he had expected at the same time.
‘Well, it’s an easier way to earn than teaching the princess,’ Ning thought when suddenly his face went blank when he realized something.
The princess was now a Rank 3 summoner. Meaning, that his quest from the summoning circle to have the princess do a Rank 2 summoning was just a moment away.
‘So soon,’ he thought, not knowing what else to think. He had hated the idea of teaching a little kid about summoning, but now he was quite attached to her.
He couldn’t think of not teaching her anymore. At least, not without having a sour feeling grow in his heart.
He sighed. ‘I’m surprised I haven’t gotten used to this by now,’ he thought. Having left so many people behind, it was truly a surprise that he could still feel bad when he thought of farewells.
“Well, this isn’t a true farewell,” he said to himself. “Not yet at least.” ππ³πxt.ππt
10 years from now would be his true farewell. A time when he would have to leave for real. At that ‘A week huh?’ Ning thought. That was indeed just the right amount of time to get done with things 08:57

time, he would have to say goodbye for one last time⦠again.
Ning remembered his close friends and acquaintances from Vilmore. It was very much likely that they had all died by now given how much time had passed.
He remembered Genesis, a planet he had left behind not long ago. But it was two galaxies away from here now, in the other direction from where he was going.
He didn’t even know if he would make it back there before the people he left behind there were already dead.
Ning waited for the fight below to be over before going to find Saphandra.
She had just finished talking to the boss and was happy to wait to learn how much she had earned.
“I have a small bad news, and a big good news for you,” Ning said the moment she came up to him.
“Oh? What’s the bad news?” she asked, waiting patiently and hoping it wasn’t that bad.
“I didn’t get to recharge your pearls yesterday,” Ning said. “I got quite busy.”
“What the hell? That’s not even bad news. Stop terrifying me,” Saphandra said.
Ning chuckled a bit.
“What’s the good news then?” she asked.
“The good news is that we can leave here anytime we want now,” Ning said.
“Leave here? The arena?” she asked.
“No, no, the kingdom,” Ning said. “Rather this entire hemisphere and go to the one where summoning is much more prevalent.”
“I see,” Saphandra said. She didn’t sound as happy as Ning would’ve thought her to be.
She sighed. “I guess it’s about time to move on to newer things,” she said. “When do we leave?”
“Your choice,” Ning said.
Saphandra nodded to herself. “In a week then,” she said.
‘A week huh?’ Ning thought. That was indeed just the right amount of time to get done with things here in this country.
“Alright, one week,” he said and left her be.
Now, it was time for him to go watch his disciple graduate from under his teaching.
