Reincarnated as an Energy with a System

Chapter 735 Departure

Chapter 735 Departure

ใ€€ใ€€Ning felt the inertia push him back as the ship lifted off even when artificial gravity was one.

The fourteen different arms also simultaneously turned on their thrusters and the spaceship was propelled into outer space with such speed that Ning was left stunned.

In less than 5 seconds, they were out of the atmosphere, where the ship automatically stopped.

”Please plot a course,” the ship’s AI spoke in a language no one but Ning understood. The slime looked at the screen and saw unfamiliar words on there too.

”What’s going on?” the slime asked.

Ning tapped a few buttons and suddenly the screen in front of the ship that was covered during the initial launch out of the planet opened up to give a view ofโ€ฆ nothing.

The slime slowly flew out of its seat, surprising Ning a bit, and went to the front glass to look into nothingness.

Of course, it felt like there was nothing there, but when the slime truly looked beyond, it could see everything.๐‘œ๐”ณ๐‘™xt.๐—‡๐“”t

”Look at those stars, they look so bright,” it said with a certain tone of surprise and amusement.

”Want to see the planet?” Ning asked.

”I can?” the slime asked.

Ning smiled and had the arms of the ship slowly turn the ship around, during which the slime also saw the sun.

”What the hell? Why is the sun so white?” the slime asked in confusion.

”The sun is white, you just don’t see it due to the atmosphere and stuff. I’ll explain later,” Ning said as the ship finally turned back towards the planet.

The green and blue gem were finally visible to the slime as it looked at the behemoth of a celestial body.

This plant had no moon, and fortunately not much cloud on this particular day, so the slime got a very clear view of everything.

”This is where I have been living for the last 3 years?” the slime was in awe. It took at the whole thing, while only seeing half of it.

”Can we go to the back and see more?” it asked.

”Later,” Ning said. “Don’t you want to take these beasts to the other planet and come back for the rest?”

”Oh, yeah. We should do that first,” the slime said and reluctantly left the window to go back and buckle up.

Ning turned the ship around and set up the course.

”Course plotted for planet Q4-S3-C23-G3-17C.”

”Strengthening outer hall.”

”Initiating Space Drive.”

”Space Drive not available.”

”Space Jump not available.”

”Initiating Light Emission.”

”Checking all systems.”

”All systems except Space Drive are functional.”

”ZSS-Unity III is ready to leave.”

”GO!” Ning said as he pressed a button on the dashboard. At that very moment, the propulsion system activated to the fullest and the ship moved.

The moment the ship moved, Ning could tell it was something special. It zipped at a speed he didn’t think was possible. He quickly switched his body to the entire ship and looked around.

What he saw shocked him. the speed was so fast that the planet they had just left behind was nothing more than a small blue and green marble in the distance.

At the speed they were going, it wouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to reach the sun. Meaning, that in under an hour, they would arrive on the other planet.

’What sort of speed is this? Just how fast are we going?’ Ning wondered.

”Woah, that is so fast,” Ning thought to himself. He could likely reach a higher speed now if he had the time and was willing to spend all the energy he had, but this speed was achieved by just fusing hydrogen.

Hydrogen? Ning could create that with a fraction of the energy he gathered every day, and somehow this ship was using exactly that to travel a distance that would require months of energy for him.

In fact, from the very start, before he even brought the ship out, he had been planning to switch body with the ship and teleport it back to Nulwurn.

However, now that he was moving, he didn’t feel the need to. At least, he didn’t need to spend 2-3 months’ worth of energy just to bring these beasts to the other planet.

He returned back to his body and heard the slime murmur to himself how he was most likely dreaming at the moment.

”Are we going to die?” the slime asked Ning suddenly.

”No? Why do you think that?” he asked.

”Weโ€ฆ won’t we get burned? We’re going directly towards the sun after all,” the slime said.

”Oh, we’re not going to the sun, but close to it. The ship will fly around the sun at a distance where the hit won’t affect its performance. Then, we’ll use its gravity to curve the ship’s path and go towards Nulwurn,” Ning said.

”Nulwurn?” the slime looked at him with a confused face.

”Ah, it’s the planet’s name. Did I not mention it before?” Ning asked.

”I don’t know. I’m having a hard time remembering everything you are telling me,” the slime said as it looked around. “Everything is so overwhelming.”

”I see,” Ning said and pressed a button on the dashboard. Metal sheets moved up front to block the windows of the spaceship.

Then, he checked something. “Okay, so we have about 50 minutes before we reach Nulwurn. If you are getting overwhelmed, then let me help you understand where you are being overwhelmed.”

”Although, I hope you will answer some questions of mine too that I’m curious about,” Ning asked.

”What sort of questions?” the slime asked.

”First of all, what was your planet called?” Ning asked. “The one you lived in before.”

”Faelon,” the slime answered without hesitation

”I see,” Ning nodded and quickly checked with the system to find that this young man had actually died in the milky way galaxy as well.

”Then can you tell me the name of your system?” Ning asked.

”Sure,” the slime said. “It’s called the Beast-Taming system,”
