Chapter 730 The Slime's Story
Chapter 730
Ning flew towards the sun. He very quickly got out of the atmosphere and his automatic breathing skill activated to provide him with air even while he was out in space.
The moon Sena was showing up from his left so before he went any further, he landed by the moon and looked back at the planet.
The pale, blue planet in the sky barely had any land features one could distinguish the location with.
Each island was incredibly small and thus impossible to tell which island was which. At least through the normal eyes.𝗈𝒱𝐞𝑙𝒩xt.𝑪𝒐𝓂
Ning sighed and turned back towards the sun. He needed to hurry, but how could he go there quickly?
After a moment of contemplation, he realized that the only way to get there was to teleport once he was out in space.
So, he took off from the moon and flew towards the sun. There was a reason he was making his way towards the sun and it was not to gain momentum.
There were exactly 6 planets in this world’s solar system, and 4 of them had been named aside from Nulwurn. While only two of them were actually named as possible planets, the other two were considered bright stars in the sky.
There was only one planet that had not been named at all and there was a reason for that. None of the humans living in Nulwurn knew this planet even existed.
It wouldn’t be until a few hundred years before science would advance enough for people to find the existence of this planet.
The princess had been summoned away to this exact planet as well. Ning’s objective at the moment was to get to this planet anyhow.
After flying out towards the sun, generously away from the planet, his teleportation skill kicked in, letting him leave the area without much problem.
Ning looked towards the sun, but his vision darkened instead as the star chart appeared all around him.
He looked at Nulwurn in the star chart. Then he looked at where he was standing, a few thousand kilometers away from Nulwurn.
From there, he looked at the sun at about 200 Million kilometers. Then, directly behind the sun at about another 200 Million Kilometers was the greenish-blue planet he needed to go to.
When the star chart disappeared, Ning imagined the location he had to teleport to, and then he vanished.
About 800 Billion Energy was spent for him to teleport from outside of Nulwurn to here. Even a year ago, Ning would consider it a huge number as it would have taken him nearly 700 days to collect that sort of energy.
However, with a few Quintillion of energy at his side, a few billion was nothing. Besides, he only needed 2 months or so to collect that much energy now.
Ning looked at the giant greenish-blue planet in front of him. Unlike Nulwurn, this planet was about 60% water only, while the rest was land with mostly trees growing everywhere.
Ning immediately flew to the planet at full speed and slowed down only after he had entered the atmosphere.
He didn’t go all the way down and hovered in the sky. Even as he did, many birds flew right past him. Ning was a little surprised to see that every single one of those birds was at least Rank 3 in spiritual energy.
But he quickly shook his head. There wasn’t any reason to be shocked by something so obvious.
It was obvious for this planet to have a strong beast. It was obvious for this planet to have such thick Spiritual energy.
After all, this was the planet that almost everyone summoned their beasts from.
”Where’s the princess?” Ning asked his system, not wasting any time. Once he got the location, he teleported directly to that side.
When Ning reappeared, he was in the sky above a forest with a massive clearing in the middle. He saw some activity there, so he quickly flew down into the thick trees to see what was happening.
’So many beasts,’ he thought at first when he heard the sounds of things hitting each other. However, when he got close to the edge of the forest, Ning’s eyes went wide.
’Humans?’ he thought with shock. That should have been impossible. Why were there humans here?
As far as the system had told him, Nulwurn was the only planet nearby with human life in it. He had indeed learned that this planet had beasts that were summoned to Nulwurn for various purposes, but there was nothing about humans in those knowledge packs.
’Wait, could they have been summoned here just like Janice?’ Ning thought. He didn’t even want to think of what was happening to the princess right now. Was she perhaps being made to labor like all of these people who were clearly too fatigued to work at all.
Ning didn’t understand what was happening, but he didn’t have the time to. Whoever the culprit was for making all of these beasts and humans relentlessly work for them, he needed to find them and set things right.
Without hesitation, he dashed into the open area where all the trees had been cut off.
The humans and beasts saw him and many cried at him about different things, but Ning didn’t hear. He was focused on the location about 400 meters ahead where the princess was according to the system.
Ning didn’t even pay attention to the surrounding he flew through as he arrived right in front of a massive tree with a giant opening at the base.
There were leaves covering the opening like curtains and Ning walked up to it. However, before he could see inside, he heard the princess’s sound.
He quickly parted the leaves and entered inside, hoping the princess was fine, only to be in absolute confusion at what he was seeing.
In front of him, the princess was laughing like this was the most fun she had ever had. And next to her, the one she was having fun with was a big, blue slime monster.
