Reincarnated as an Energy with a System

Chapter 693 Lesson in the Sea

Chapter 693 Lesson in the Sea

As Ning floated on the giant octopus with the princess in his arms, he saw many different aquatic monsters get summoned all around him.

They would of course not be able to stop the octopus, but if the octopus attacked back, there would definitely be casualties including some fatal ones.

However, if he stopped the octopus from attacking, they would still attack the octopus in which case it would be injured most likely.

”What’s going on?” the King ran out of the palace after hearing the large explosion of water as well as the cannonball shot.

”Your highness, can you tell your men to stop attacking?” Ning asked.

”What are you doing? What is that beast? Why do you have my daughter there?” the king shouted.

”Your military, order them to stop please,” Ning shouted back. “They think I’ve kidnapped the princess.”

”Oh!” the king finally realized the severity of the situation and ran to the edge of the beach while waving his arms.

”Stop! Stop!” he shouted at the men in the ocean.

”What?”

”His majesty is ordering us to stop.”

”Are we not fighting?”

”Captain?”

The people started looking at the ship captains, and the captains instantly understood what was happening.

”The king is afraid the princess will get hurt if we attack the kidnapper. We will need to do this silently,” the captains talked amongst themselves.

Ning clearly heard them speak and realized they weren’t going to budge. He suddenly turned around and grabbed the maid, Joann with his telekinesis and brought her on top of the octopus.

”Your highness, it doesn’t look like your men are going to budge, so I will be gone for a bit while. Please speak to your mean about it all,” Ning said.

”What? What do you mean?” the king didn’t understand.

”I will return in just 3 hours,” Ning said and touched the octopus. Then, they all disappeared.

The king was shocked, and so were the captains. They all searched around for Ning and the princess, but they couldn’t find them anywhere.

Even though the King was sure his daughter would be fine, he still feared for her a little.

Ning and the rest appeared a few dozen kilometers out into the sea, in a location where not many ships roamed.

”What? Where are we?” Joann asked in surprise.

The young princess was too giddy about everything to care. “Woohoo, do it again, do it again,” she shouted.

”If you want me to do it again, you will have to now keep quiet and listen to me teach you about summoning,” Ning said.

”Oh, can I play with occy first?” she asked.

”After we are done with a lesson,” Ning said, not budging even the slightest bit.

”Okay,” the princess said dejectedly.

Ning brought out the umbrella from his storage and used it to shade Joann and the princess from the afternoon sun.

As for himself, he liked being in the sun as that only made him stronger.

”Do you know what we use to summon?” Ning asked.

”No,” the princess said.

”Princess, you do,” Joann said from the side. “We learned this already.”

”Huh? Oh right, Spiritual energy,” the princess said.

”Do you know where we can find the spiritual energy?” Ning asked.

”Everywhere,” the princess said confidently.

”Correct, but do you know where we find it the most?” Ning asked.

”The pearls?” the princess asked.

”I… was actually going to say the ocean, but the pearl is technically the more accurate answer,” Ning said with a somewhat amused expression. “But do you know why the pearl has so much spiritual energy?”

Joann looked confused. Even she didn’t know that answer, no one did as far as she understood. “Teacher, what are you teaching her?” she asked.

”I’m starting from the basics,” Ning said.

”But… how would she know why pearl has so much spiritual energy?” she asked.

”Eh? Do you not know?” Ning asked. He had learned the information from the system, so he didn’t know what was prevalent information and what was lacking.

”Do you?” Joann asked.

”Joann, let the teacher speak. I need to finish this lesson fast so I can play with occy,” she said.

”I… um… yes, of course,” she gave up in the end.

”So, here’s the thing. There are very, very, very small sands in the water, and they carry spiritual energy. Which is why there is so much spiritual energy in the water compared to the air,” Ning said.

”Ohhh,” the princess made an understanding face even though Ning was sure she was doing it just to get done with the lesson.

He had realized halfway through that what he was teaching was a bit too advanced for the princess, but he still continued it now that he had started it.

Besides, Joann could learn something from it anyway.

”So, the ocean has these small sand in the water, right? And then we have the Spiritual Oysters.”

”These oysters live in the ocean and they drink the water. When they do, they purify it and put aside any of those small sand that they find.”

”Those sands that are responsible for keeping Spiritual energy are then slowly accumulated until they get mixed with the pearl the oysters make and become Spiritual pearls,” Ning said.

”So you how spiritual energy appears in our surroundings,” Ning said. “Now you need to understand how we can use it.”

”Spiritual energy can only to used to connect two spirits,” Ning said. “It can only be used to connect two different things and form a bond between them.”

”That is why people that use spiritual energy are all called Bondforgers,” Ning said.

”Bongforger?” the princess asked, having never heard these words before.

”Yes, Bondforger,” Ning said. “It’s unlikely that you’ve heard this word before as we are usually known as a Summoner.”

”Summoner!” the princess cheered. “That’s what I am going to be soon.”𝑜𝒱𝗅𝒩xt.𝗇𝓔t

”Yes,” Ning said with a smile. “If you take into heart everything I teach you here, you will become one of the greatest summoners out there.”
