Jacob looked at the 30 gold bricks in front of him with wide eyes. He reached out with his hands, pausing. “May I?”
Ning shrugged.
Jacob picked up the brick with great struggle and knew that these bricks of gold were real. One would have to check further, but as it was, they looked real.
“Where did they come from?” Jacob asked curiously.
“I stored them in a treasure of mine” Ning said. “You can test them if you want, but tell me first if these are enough for me to meet with the Inventor
“Yes, yes, the man said quickly. “They are more than enough. Who are you? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of your name.”
“I’m a nobody,” Ning said. “But. I do have money, so I suppose I’m somebody. How should I meet sir Zarius
now?”
“I can take you to him once we go through a few procedures so I can find some more things about you,” Jacob said. “Please understand that the Inventor’s safety is our biggest priority, so we cannot just let you meet him without doing a small background check!
“Absolutely, Ning said. “You won’t find much about me, but you are free to do any checks you wish to.”
Jacob nodded. “You can keep these back, 2 days later, I will leave this city and head north. It will take about a month’s time, but I am heading toward the Morgian Empire where our headquarters lie. You are free to join me at that time.”
Ning nodded for a moment. “Speaking of your headquarters, is it in any way possible for me to meet your boss, Sir Naman? I have been wanting to meet him for a very long time now.”
“President Naman? Uhh… I cannot tell you. I do not have that authority” Jacob said.
“I see, Ning said. “Will you help me find out once we are at the headquarters?”

Now all Ning had to do was wait. Jacob went back to his room and met Ning twice over the next 2 days to find out a bit more about him. But Ning was an enigma, one he could not see through.
There was nothing to do for the next 2 days, so Tim and Jasmine went over to the amusement park to enjoy their days there.
2 days later, they were on a large cargo ship, on their way away from Gova city, leaving behind the Southern Hemisphere.
Tim and Jasmine stood at the bow of the massive ship, looking ahead at the giant coral reef that appeared before them. Lands had grown outside of the water, with dead corals everywhere that had come out there. There was a giant opening in the reef, which allowed ships to pass through. As the ship passed, Tim and Jasmine finally got to see how it was to pass through the reef.
The Giant Coral Reef was nearly 2 kilometers wide, going on forever, and ever before they saw open waters on the other side.
The pathway was not even wide enough for 3 ships to pass through at one time, so only two ships passed at once. Each comes from the opposite side.
There was a long line of cargo ships, waiting to cross the giant reef on the other side, just as there was where they came from.
Once they hit open waters, the ship accelerated, going forward at a good speed. The wind wasn’t on their side though, which slowed them down a bit more than they wanted to.
Tim saw the situation and blew his Whistle, gaining the power of the Wind Spirit Aeritha, which immediately made his body light as a feather, and gave him the ability to control winds to his command.
Tim made the winds blowing in opposite directions stop at once and turned it around instead, making it aid the ship in its travel instead.
The ship accelerated even further and the journey became quite easy for them.
Tim helped the ship from time to time. Sometimes, he used Aeritha the Wind spirit to help with the wind, and sometimes he used Aquara the Water Spirit to calm the waves during stormy days and nights.
Te only channeled the powers of the spirits through his own body and never called out an actual spirit.
At that time, Ning and Jacob got to talking. Jacob wanted to find out more about Ning, while Ning tried to deduce where it was that the Inventor and the president of the company were hiding. At the same time, he also wanted to find out if there was a possibility that either of them was Zurnius.

Zarius had great ideas about his inventions and how they could be used. Jacob was shocked by Zarius’ foresight and immediately talked to his higher-ups to get Zarius better funding,
Within months, Zarius had made a proper telephone and by the next year, it was mass manufactured, spreading through the world like wildfire.
That was the invention that put Zarius on the map and it was after that he went on to become the greatest living inventor of their time.
