Chapter 1073 Destination
“Do you have any other suggestions for me?” Ning asked.
“Hmm, let’s see…” Nigel thought for a moment. “Right, how many types of Energy have you unlocked?” she asked.
“Uh… let’s see, Heat, Sound, Kinetic, Electric, Magnetic, Gravitational, and Radiant. So, 7,” Ning said.
“Hmm, so you still have Chemical and Nuclear energy to go through,” she said. “Do those as fast as you can.”
“I will try,” Ning said. “I only just got Radiant Energy, so it will take a while.”
“It will, but you will be super happy to go past Nuclear energy,” Nigel said.
“Oh, what’s past Nuclear Energy?” Ning asked curiously.
Nigel was about to answer, but she stopped. “No, why don’t you find out on your own? It will be a nice little surprise for you anyway,” she said. “Although, you might have trouble going past the Nuclear energy. It is notorious for being one of the hardest to complete since it requires you to kill a Galactic will.”
“Oh, that’s alright. I’ve already killed one before,” Ning said.
Nigel’s eyes narrowed a bit. “You’ve killed a Galactic will before?” she asked.
“I got lucky,” Ning said. “He was very weak from creating a system and a planet successively and I got to sneak up on him.”
“Wow! That’s some luck,” Nigel said. “Then the rest should be very easy for you.”
Ning nodded. He tried to think of what else to ask and looked around the spaceship. “Where are you going?” he asked.
“Toward Meghilars,” Nigel said.
“And that is?” Ning asked.
“A Galaxy,” she replied nonchalantly.
“It’s your destination or just someplace that’s on your way?” Ning asked.
“I’m going to kill Meghilars and absorb his energy. With Bayrus and him, I should have enough energy to go to another universe,” Nigel said.
“Oh… you collect energy like that?” Ning asked.
“Yeah, it’s so simple that way,” Nigel said. “I don’t have to wait around somewhere for years just collecting energy.”
“So… why are we on a spaceship? Why haven’t you gone there directly?” Ning asked.
“Oh, never make the mistake of teleporting to a galaxy that you know has a Galactic Will. They will immediately find out you’re there, and with the entire galaxy as their home turf, you have no way of winning if they get the headstart. The best thing to do is go to the closest galaxy and then take a spaceship this way. That way they will never find out that someone has sneaked into their galaxy.”
“Oh,” Ning thought as he noted down the information. It was good to have a veteran host teach him stuff that he would have otherwise had to find out painfully.
He looked outside the spaceship and saw the stars that were everywhere.
“We are already in the Galaxy?” he asked.
“Oh yeah, we arrived long ago,” she said. “It will still take a long time before I fly to where Meghilars is though. I don’t suppose you want to come with me?”
Ning hesitated. “You don’t plan on having me be with you, do you?” he asked.
“Imma be honest. I would rather you leave me as soon as you can after you’re back to normal,” Nigel said. “It’s not like I hate you or anything, but I like to fly solo.”
“That’s fair,” Ning said. “If you don’t have anything to teach me, then I suppose you can drop me off here somewhere.”
“What sort of planet would you like to go to? One with a lot of girls?” Nigel asked. “I’m sure there are a few around here like that.”
“I’m not looking for girls. I already have the two I need,” Ning said.
“Whatever,” Nigel said. “Then what sort of planet would you like to go to?”
“One without any human, if possible. Any planet that won’t immediately be destroyed in the next couple thousand years. I want to stay in my Inner world for a while so I can spend some time with my family,” Ning said.
“Oh, uhh… wait for a second,” Nigel said. Suddenly, an astral chart appeared around the two of them as Nigel pinpointed where they were.
“I’m going here, so on the way, I have… right, these 5 planets I can take you to. They are planets where you can live in, but at the same time, they don’t have humans. Humans have yet to evolve there,” she said.
“You can drop me off at the nearest one,” Ning said.
The chart disappeared and they were still on the spaceship. “That’s settled then,” Nigel said. “Also, a side note. You will be spending some time inside the Inner World, right? Will you be leaving anything to guard yourself?”
“To guard me? No,” Ning said.𝓞𝔳𝑙xt.𝓒𝒪𝑚
“You probably won’t need one here, but you should try and find some guard for yourself in the future. You are nothing but a point in space when you go in, so any sort of Will that can capture that space can capture you in there. They may even follow you into your inner world through that point in space. It’s really dangerous.”
” Also, because time moves so quickly on the outside than the Inner world, you usually don’t have enough time to react even if you do get an alert or something from your system. In those cases, it’s necessary that you keep some sort of defense on the outside.”
“I see, thank you for telling me,” Ning said.
Nigel nodded. “One last thing,” she said. “Do not absorb any energy for the foreseeable future. If that bloody Will finds out we’re here, he will go into hiding and I won’t find him again.”
“I can’t absorb energy here at all?” Ning asked. “That’s until you kill him right?”
“Of course,” Nigel said. “You are free to do what you want after I’ve killed him.”
Ning accepted that offer. “Please send me a message once you’ve killed him so that I don’t waste my time without absorbing any energy,” he said.
“I will,” Nigel said. “Now, get ready. We will come upon your destination at any moment now.”
