Chapter 957: Chapter 957: Law Of The Foreign

Kael leaned forward on his Golden Crystal Throne.

His ears twitched silently under the dim light of the ceiling gems. His hand gripped the end of the armrest and the other was placed elegantly on his lap.

It looked like he leaned forward to pay more attention to what Undying was going to say but those who knew understood that that was never the case. Katari knew that Kael could hear Undying just fine even if he was a thousand kilometers away and the latter was whispering.

Kael leaned forward so that he could act when needed.

Undying knew this, he didn’t narrow his eyes or press his lips together. He just waited, observing the micro changes in the atmosphere and waiting for that little tension to cool down.

The All-King was all too eager to hear about Seth, that was certain. It was a weakness the All-King was willing to allow others to know about because he really couldn’t care less.

So what if others knew he was desperate to learn more about Seth and what exactly he had done?

Will they deny him the knowledge he wanted after showing him a glimpse?

Thinking about this, Kael flexed his fingers a bit, and an audible crack could be heard from his armrest.

The crystal armrest did not break; it was his hard bones that fractured under the immense force exerted by his muscles.

That was just how upset Kael was.

He didn’t care.

Not when he had indirectly helped an enemy get stronger.

"Seth has been to the Outerverse a few times, many more than some may believe," Undying began.

Standing in front of Kael, he kept his head raised high and dished out the knowledge he had concerning Seth.

"...Seth has been planning a little scheme for a while. My partner and I did not understand it at first but after some time, we got to know.

Seth, being the Primordial Cat, was born with the power of Freedom as his Law. That couldn’t be changed.

Or could it?

You see, there have been cases in the past of Primordials somewhere to tap into the power of other laws in various ways.

Some could borrow, some could subjugate, and some outright conquered the laws they didn’t have.

You, All-King, are one of them."

Undying paused, paying attention to the changes occurring in the eyes of the All-King?

"But you are not the inspiration for what Seth wanted to do, no. You were just a confirmation that what he wanted to do could be done.

You see, the Primordial Cat already had his eyes on the Law of the Foreign as that was the easiest law he could possibly get access to without the interference of the Highest Will as that is one of the few laws that works on existing outside the universe.

First, he needed an entity that was affiliated with the Law of the Foreign. Naturally, he could not find a Primordial as that law was ownerless.

Even if he could, the plane he had would not work.

So he had to turn someone or something into an Avatar, which was his next best option.

And it was a very good option for him. It allowed him the opportunity to set the stage the way he wanted it to be without interference.

From what my partner and I had gathered on that day Seth first brought the vessel to us, he had planned it with a tiger called Chen..."

Kael’s face barely reacted. He already knew that the tiger called Chen was involved.

"...Chen had been persuaded into choosing to become an Avatar of the Law of The Foreign.

He genuinely believed that he could get stronger if he worked hard enough to get it and if Seth helped him out.

And he was not wrong to believe in Seth. Seth seemed to have experience concerning these matters, as though he had seen it happen before..."

Katari, who stood by the side and listened quietly, thought of a single person. Gabriel, whom she had heard about a lot, was still roaming the mortalverse and spreading his power of Slavery everywhere.

Was that the experience Seth had? He and the other Felines already had knowledge on how to convert others to an Avatar and they even had evidence of success.

"...But Chen, through some tricks of Seth, failed to anticipate that Seth was not doing any of the things he was doing for the sake of just doing it.

He had his own designs. Seth had infiltrated Chen’s mind with a corruption of his powers, basically enslaving the tiger to the power of freedom.

By the time Seth came to the Outerverse with the Beyonder Machine and Chen inside, Chen was no longer himself. He was just a shell with Seth’s consciousness inside.

Enough intelligence was left back for Chen to be able to comprehend the Law of The Foreign, and he did very well.

Chen became the Avatar of The Foreign, having seen things beyond that even we could not comprehend.

But all that was for nothing because Seth now controlled his body.

So that’s what happened, Seth has access to two laws. His own Law of Freedom, and the Law of The Foreign, both of which are extremely terrifying."

Undying finished his speech. What he spoke of was an oversimplified version of what he had seen and observed.

Meanwhile, Kael processed everything that was said and calculated with his own perspective.

"All that happened and you allowed it to continue?" Kael asked, his voice going a step deeper such that it caused the floor to vibrate.

Undying shrugged his shoulders, "The Highest Will allowed it.

Besides, Seth gave us hope of being able to escape from our bindings."

Kael rested his back on the backrest of the throne once again.

"It seemed he kept his word, for you to be here. Why are you then betraying him?" The All-King asked.

This was a very trivial question unfortunately. Kael had stopped caring. The information he had now ensured that he could make some plans.

With a little bit of careful thinking, he had already mapped out Seth’s weakness and was already planning how to take him down at a convenient time.

Undying shook his head, "Seth didn’t actually help us at all. The Rules of the Highest Will that kept us locked to the Outerverse started to dissolve.

Once we saw that those things were starting to enter the universe, we simply left..."

"Things?" Katari asked, tilting her head.

Before Undying could explain, a screen appeared in front of him, golden and shimmering with mysterious power.

"Accept..." Kael said calmly. It wasn’t a suggestion, it wasn’t a request. It was a statement.
