Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities
Chapter 265: 3.22 TLOC (12)
"So how do you plan on uniting us if you are just going to play judge, jury and executioner?" Verde asked, irritated by the mess Zander caused to their luxurious meeting room.
"I am no judge or jury, and I don't want to be an executioner but a soul of pure evil should not lead an entire race." He spoke overly formally and god-like.
"Zander, I know you had good intentions but we do have a system on Earth where we must have evidence and proof before condemning someone." Fleur said kindly, to the surprise of the god.
'Why does her voice always sound so sincere and flirtatious when she talks to me? She is a white soul, something ultra rare on Earth right now but leads her faeries into war?'
"How do you plan on helping if we can't get along collectively?" Alistair added, slamming his fist on the table in anger.
"That is for you to figure out. I am just here to help you do so," Zander said formally.
"Well what's your purpose?" Jessica asked.
Zander looked at her in confusion while thinking, 'I already stated my purpose.'
"Zander? You ok?" Fleur asked kindly, trying to encourage the handsome god who looked uncomfortable.
"Yes I am well thank you, you are a kind person." Zander responded, still awkwardly formal.
"Well, what are your abilities? Let's start there." Alistair suggested. "You controlled that sword with your mind and somehow just knew he was evil?"
"Yes, I know all who are pure and who are evil."
"How?" Fleur asked. "It's ok Zander, you're new here let us help you."
'How can they help me? Sure, some of them are very powerful but they fight each other and I don't want to kill them, I love this planet.' He thought.
"He's clearly uncomfortable," Theron said casually.
"Zander you have to understand that just by killing the human leader they aren't going to magically stop pulling their same dirty tactics." He added.
"Why not? Shouldn't they follow their organizational structure? We all follow my mother's absolute rule without question. Why wouldn't the humans follow someone with good intentions put in charge?"
Everyone laughed and Zander knew they weren't angry or upset, just laughing, happy, nervous and couldn't understand why he couldn't understand. His ability to see people's emotions, floating around in their head, made things quite easy for him, but it didn't change the fact he didn't know how to interact with people.
"This isn't Paradise Zander. Just because someone pure of heart is put in charge doesn't mean they will follow their lead. They will continue to do as they please if it benefits their race," Fleur passionately stated, smiling at him.
'She is very nice but why is she showing signs of love and admiration in her feelings? I just met her. That's odd.'
"Indeed. We meet to try to figure out our best course of action but even if we command our armies, there will be those who do as they wish. This war will not end easily Zander so what do you suggest we do?" Jessica asked kindly.
Zander didn't have an answer. He didn't even know what he was doing anymore. He was so certain that killing the human leader would solve the problem.
"Zander, how about you and I go for a walk and talk?" Fleur suggested.
"That's a good idea. I don't think we really have much else to discuss Jessica. Please find a new human lead and we will see you all next month. Until then whatever happens, happens," Verde said matter-of-factly.
The others nodded in agreement and were gone, aside from Fleur. Zander's stunned expression painted a clear picture for her. She already took a liking to him as she was a single young queen, recently given the throne by her parents. She was only 20 and very beautiful. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, was around 5'4, very petite and had 4 small rainbow wings on her back.
"This way sweetheart," Fleur said, taking Zander's hand.
'Her hand is so warm and feels so soft. This is nothing like I've felt before.'
He followed her as she walked slightly in front of him and she led her out of the main room, up on an elevator to the roof of the building. The doors opened, revealing an amazing view. It was a clear, cool night with a full moon shining brightly on the two.
"So Zander, why are you so formal and nervous?"
"I am not nervous. I don't feel like I'm being formal, I just feel like I am being honest."
She giggled.
"It's perfectly acceptable to be nervous, you know? You are coming from a different realm to a planet that is under war and corruption. Have you not watched us slaughter each other from above? How does that make you feel?"
Zander frowned.
"Sad. Yes, I have watched Earth like I have watched many planets. I do not want to see this planet lost. It always fascinated me how different the people are. So many different races, ability types, types of beasts… The humans instigate, run away and then strike when others are in battle. It is dishonorable and destroys the planet."
Fleur smiled. "See, that wasn't so hard to say was it?"
Zander noticed his cheeks felt flush, a sensation he never experienced after hearing her talk while staring at her beauty.
"You're blushing. That's adorable. I didn't know gods could feel emotions like that! What's Paradise like?" She asked excitedly.
"I cannot say I am sorry. I think you are an amazing person with a big heart. I hope one day people will see that in you like I do."
Fleur gasped. 'Why is he so certain and why does he speak with such confidence but freeze in front of a group of people?' She thought.
"Thank you for the talk and the view. You are a beautiful woman and you should continue to lead the faeries with grace." Zander said while extending his arm for a handshake.
Fleur's wings flapped rapidly and she flew over to him and hugged him, kissing him on the cheek.
"You can't do this alone, Zander. You will need allies."
Zander laughed. "That's what my mother told me before I left. Goodnight."
'He's gone? So he teleports as well. I think there's a lot we need to get to know about this young god. I wouldn't mind being the first woman a god falls in love with.' She giggled to herself.
*****
The hooded demon, dressed in all black, tracked the phoenix the night before and was hiding outside the house after sneaking out again.
'I wonder where he is?' She thought, nervous but excited.
'He can't know who I am but I don't want to lie either. What do I do?!'
"What are you doing here?" Zander demanded, sword pointed at the young demon.
'Silver color in her body. What?! How? That is almost impossible to accomplish!' Zander thought, shocked a soul could reach such an extraordinary level of morality. This was beyond white, which was already an impossible color to find and he just left after meeting someone with that very color.
'Why is she nervous and how can she possibly have feelings of joy, excitement and nervousness mixed in with just a very slight hint of love. That is now two women, but this one I do not know.'
