The three stood in the room with drastically different emotions and feelings, including Zander. He was calm but slightly nervous of what her father would ask him in front of Nyxara. He didn’t want to hide anything from her and he was afraid he may ask something he wasn’t able to tell Nyx yet.

’Oh no. He’s going to make my dad angry.’

’Nyx is very worried but her father is very calm. I am confused.’

"He speaks the truth Nyxara. I am not like you, I am not a beautiful, amazing soul or so he speaks. Zander, you must have some ability that allows you to tell the morality of a person, do you not? Do all gods possess this trait and is that why you are with my daughter? Again, honesty Zander, I will know."

’He must have some ability to sense if someone is telling the truth or lies. I have no intention to ever lie anyway.’

"That is not why I am with your daughter and yes I do have that ability. The morality of someone shows in the colors of their body and your daughter is the only silver one on the planet. A silver soul is someone eternally bound to Paradise and destined to great things on this planet. I am the only one with this ability and I was sent here as I stated at the meeting."

Her father smiled, which caused Nyx to relax.

’He cares so much about me already?’ She wondered, a tear falling from her eye.

Zander wiped the tear away.

"You are too beautiful to cry about silly things like being afraid of your future. You are a special person not because of the color of the soul but because of how you treat people, especially me. What you talked about with Fleur was amazing.

"What color was Bryson? Was he truly this purely evil person you spoke of?"

"He was pure evil sir. He should not exist in such a world. Unfortunately many humans share colors of evil, bad or neutral. I did bump into a good one, but when I explored the human town, it was shocking to see how many people were lying, cheating, stealing and not pure of heart and soul," He frowned.

"So when you see people’s emotions, you can also tell their morality? Is that why you trusted me when I told you who I was?" Nyx asked, expressionless.

"Nyx, I do not need my ability anymore to tell you I like you and I care about you deeply. I try to block it out but I cannot, I am sorry for that."

She blushed. ’It’s not fair to judge him based on his abilities. He can’t help what he was born with and I believe he’s telling me the truth.’

"So would you like to be my boyfriend?"

"What does it mean to be someone’s boyfriend?"

"It means that you and I would be together romantically and you wouldn’t go hooking up with other women and dedicate yourself to me."

"So I could not talk to or speak to other women? I would love to be your girlfriend but I believe in order to unite the world I cannot be your boyfriend."

Nyx giggled and her father laughed.

’What is so funny?’

"He’s so honest and naive!" Alistair laughed.

"I now understand why you told me the truth and asked me to stop sending you suitors."

"You mean the men that tried to force her to have sex and should die?" Zander said coldly.

They both gasped.

"Why didn’t you tell me my love?!" Her dad pleaded.

"I’m sorry! You were trying so hard to find someone for me and I didn’t want to hurt your feelings. Some of them were really nice, I swear!"

He hugged her and she started crying.

’Oh no, I shouldn’t have said that. She feels betrayed.’

"I am sorry Nyx. I would love to be your boyfriend. I will not talk to any other woman if that’s what it takes. You can help unite the world and I will be by your side."

She finally laughed and her emotions changed again.

"You can talk to other women silly! You just can’t do this!" Nyx said as she walked up and gave him a kiss.

"That’s all! Or anything more than that, of course."

"Don’t say anything about earlier, just say you understand and I’ll help you out later."

"Ok, thank you because I was going to."

’Nyx looks very worried, probably because I was going to say too much.’

"I understand. I should only show you romance and with other women just be kind and friendly."

’Thank Athena and the gods he has Zephyra with him. Phew.’

’She looks so much more relaxed and so does her father.’

"Thank you for meeting with me Zander. Nyx, please be safe and if anyone ever tries to hurt you, including Zander, which I doubt he will, but if anyone does, please come to me. It hurts me to know I almost got you hurt."

"Thanks dad! Can you relax with the guards now, though? I have this god boyfriend who can, you know, protect me from pretty much anything and teleport and stuff?"

"You can teleport?! Amazing!" Alistair exclaimed.

’He is genuine and his soul finally turned a light green. He truly does care about his daughter deeply and is willing to make changes for her because of this.’

"Sir, your soul just changed to light green. You are officially a great person, which is rare on Earth. Fluer was the next highest, just below your daughter. Verd and Jessica are green, like yourself. Theron is Cyan, which is a good person." Zander explained.

"Thank you for telling me, Zander. You should also know the humans and elves just finished another battle. The elves initiated the war and didn’t realize the humans had flankers prepared and it was a trap. I suggest you visit the elves and start trying to convince Theron to stop being so aggressive."

"Dad! Politics later." Nyx complained.

"Nyx, it is good he is telling me. Did you and Fleur have a good discussion? I think it is best if you stay with your Father tonight and explain things to him. I would love to see you but I told the vampires and humans to assemble their leaders for a Royal 5 meeting tomorrow at 7 PM. I can make up for the sleep over that you wanted tomorrow night?"

"It went very well, I wanted to tell you all about it! She’s an amazing person, Zander! I wasn’t even mad you dropped me off behind enemy lines and left if I’m being honest, which is weird."

"What of the vampires and elves?" Alistair asked.

"I killed all of the humans with bad or evil souls that tried to win the battle when the elves and vampires were weak. I saw many good people amongst the vampires and elves. I think if you listen to your daughter and unite with the faeries, that we will be taking a step in the right direction."

"You’re not even worried I was with the fairies dad?!" Nyx teased.

"No, I trust Zander. You and I must talk." She continued.

"I understand my precious darling." Alistair said calmly.

"Wait, Zander... you really killed off a bunch of humans?" Nyx frowned.

"I’m sorry Nyxara but you said we would always be honest with each other. I didn’t want to but I had to do it. Otherwise too many good people would be lost so humanity could continue their dirty tactics," Zander had a few golden tear drops fall from his face.

"Emotion... you’re showing emotions!" Nyx exclaimed while slowly wiping his tears away.

"Thank you for telling me, I’m sorry if I looked mad. I will talk to my Father tonight but you better come pick me up tomorrow night mister!" She said sincerely, then playfully while finally hugging him.

"As long as it’s ok with Alistair, I would love for you to spend the night at my place. You will be safe."

"Yes, I think that would be ok. It would spare me a midnight trip after all," he smiled.

"Thank you, I will see you tomorrow for another date ok?"

"That sounds great!" Zander exclaimed.

He gave her a kiss and he was gone.

"Don’t look so sad my dear, you just met him."

"I know... but it’s better than another suitor tomorrow anyway!"

"So tell me...what did you and Fleur talk about?"

"So much. She wants to meet with you formally and at tomorrow’s meeting, she will want to speak with you directly as allies."

"Allies with the fairies..." He pondered. "What if the others retaliate against us?"

"Then we have Zander handle them." She grinned.

"A bold move. You are growing wise beyond your years but do you really feel for him romantically?"

"Of course I do, dad! He’s a perfect gentleman...and don’t worry, I just care for him and I would rather things were simple for him. I know it’s kind of weird to be boyfriend and girlfriend so early but with him, he needs direction and guidance, otherwise he would be overwhelmed.

"Or you’re worried Fleur would sneak in and steal him away from you?" He asked.

"Actually, I’m not. She said that she didn’t think a god would date more than one person and she didn’t exactly have time for romance right now. She said that I should help him as much as possible because it would benefit the world."

"She said that?!" He exclaimed.

"Maybe it would be best if I obliged her request then... Ok, I am trusting you. Goodnight!"

"Night dad!"

Nyx laid in her bed with a smile on her face, wishing she was still with Zander but understood she couldn’t just leave her duties as a princess.
