Everyone in the Savior party was confused why Hades wasn’t attacking the next day but it didn’t take long for most of them to realize he was just trying to be unpredictable. Everyone was on high alert as it was, so it didn’t matter when they attacked as long as they were prepared. No one let their guard down and each god took their respective position.

Julius and Rissa were glad for the break so Xander and Diana allowed them to rest. Rissa spent most of the first day in her third form and even with the link to Sora, it took a lot out of her. Julius hadn’t used his demon art that much in his entire life and he was the adopted son, not the one with the DNA blessed to never become magically exhausted. They were both spent.

The humans and uthra were fine due to Celeste and the twins’ walls blocking the tsunamis and the settlement had more than enough experienced vampires and now they had Ignis to help protect them. Even Dorian told all the vampires to follow his lead and trust Sora. Dorian and Camilla knew they had to preserve themselves as King and Queen and Sora nor Brie wanted to put too much pressure on them to be on the front lines. There wasn’t a justifiable reason for it when Sora’s party had everything covered and there were armies at the ready.

Plus with the twins’ new perma-link everyone could communicate whether they were in the party or in Paradise or even on Exteria so no one was particularly worried they were going to get caught off guard. That was the piece of information Hades’ group could not obtain: the communication advantage. Everyone second mattered and if the plan was to throw the party off; it wasn’t going to happen.

"Still nothing Leila?" Ignis asked, bored.

"Nope. We haven’t figured out where they’re hiding yet either so everyone’s just looking through planets and galaxies. Sorry you’re missing out on Scarlett."

"It’s ok I can always come up there. It’s not like we can’t have more kids." Ignis said sincerely.

He did miss his family, though. He made the decision to fight because he didn’t want the same thing happening to his new home that happened to his first home. He felt responsible for the destruction of Solstice and how his brother was sitting there by himself.

"How’s Indra doing? Is he ok?"

"Yes, we went to visit him. He got a kick out of Scarlett."

"Oh that’s great! One of these days when Hope is older hopefully those two mate. That’d be awesome."

"Yes it would! I know Xander isn’t opposed to it either. He’s such a good kid."

"Yes, he is. Which is part of the reason why I’m down here. I’m just glad you understand. We’ll still bring your race back. Let me know if anything happens, there’s a bunch of vampires looking for me."

"Ok love you sweetheart."

"Love you dada!"

"Love you both, talk to you soon!"

Ignis walked the halls of the Valencia castle with Soren and some of his newer children formulating a plan for the attack. They already had the armies stationed outside protecting the settlement from the South, East and West. It was naturally protected by mountains to the North so they didn’t feel a need to protect from that side after Ignis scouted it in his phoenix form. There was no way, even with a portal. They’d all drop funny or fall down the rocks. Dorian hoped they’d be foolish enough to try it.

"Well, this isn’t what I expected," Sora said while sitting on Brie’s parents couch in regular clothing.

"Nope, but the peace is nice and it’s good knowing we’re here and my parents are out with the kids. Although, it’s weird being alone in my parents house as an adult." Brie giggled.

Emery and Emma were having a blast and got to travel around the human city with the Reinhardt’s. They spoiled them with food, candy and a bunch of toys, not that they needed anything else. They didn’t get to see Brie’s family as much as they’d like, but when they did, they always had a good time.

They shared a nice dinner before Sora, Brie and the kids headed out. The human army had each side of the city protected and there wasn’t any word from anyone above that Hades or any of the "untraceables" were coming.

"Xander, how are you and Diana doing?" Brie asked.

"Good, we’re bored so we’re trying to list out every ability we have. I don’t think we even have them all done."

Sora and Brie laughed.

"Well, let’s hear them?" Emma laughed.

"Well, remember Diana has them too so if I refer to them as he, well, she can do it too and if it’s she, well I can do it too. That blessing was wild. Anyway, here goes:

"Oh! Right. Reinhardt Unleashed, the Banshee Scream and all those really cool vampiric abilities. It’s hard trying to list them all out, let’s see you try!"

"No thanks," Sora laughed. "I don’t think we’ll be sitting around for much longer. It’s almost nighttime so be safe and let us know if you need us. Love you two."

"Love you both!" Xander smiled while giving Diana a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Bye Xandy!" Emma and Emery said with a hint of sadness. "We miss you!"

"Awe, we miss you too." Diana gushed.

"I really do miss you two!" Xander exclaimed.

"Ignis, they’re coming. All directions are untraceable in the back." Leila said calmly.

"Thanks sweetheart. Don’t worry, we got this. Love you and if you don’t want to watch, you don’t have to."

"I’m coming." Leila said confidently.

She showed up and kissed Ignis then turned into her dragon form. She kicked off into the skies and Ignis was in his phoenix form right behind her.

"Dorian, you can still understand me right?" Ignis asked.

"Loud and clear my phoenix and dragoness friends. Our armies are ready and we have Originals mixed in as regular soldiers. They won’t know what hit them."

"Excellent."

Hades didn’t know it, but he was going to be the one to make the first mistake in this war. He was sending 50,000 of his creations to their imminent doom while he thought they had the upper hand.

Apparently, Hades and Poseidon never told the creations to look up and they could only handle so much fire. Ignis spewed fire through the middle of the group coming from the West and Leila sent several fireballs crashing into the backlines of the black creations.

"What the fuck is this?!" Hades screamed in a fury. "We’re supposed to be ambushing them, not the other way around!"
