Reincarnated as a damn planet

Chapter 75: Pantheon’s Suggestions

  • Next Chapter

The entire table was filled with discussion.

The five pantheons sat around the enormous table, debating among themselves over who should be chosen as the next addition. Each one brought forward different names, different achievements, and different possibilities for the future of the world.

Calean, the Ant King, eventually spoke. Although he had once been unable to communicate through the ordinary languages of the other races, Liam’s Instant Language Learning had long since allowed him to understand and speak the languages of the world.

"I believe the Entity should seek balance within this world and add an Unorthodox Pantheon."

Moleius slowly nodded before speaking.

"I can only think of one individual who meets my standards. The man who changed the world itself."

Odir raised his head. "That man?"

Trias, who had remained silent throughout most of the discussion, finally spoke.

"I believe we should add him. His contributions to this world surpass those of almost anyone else."

Liam’s eyes narrowed slightly. "That man...?"

Olium finally gave the answer.

"Wias the Inventor."

Liam paused.

The name was not anything familiar to him.

System, use the Planetary Archive.

The archive immediately appeared within his consciousness.

[Planetary Archive]

[Wias the Inventor]

[Known as: The Smartest Lizardman]

[Wias took a leading role during the early development of magic and the creation of magical tools.]

[He was the first individual to successfully discover and understand the existence of magic.]

[Through Moleius’s Divine Communication, Wias received fragments of knowledge concerning magic and used that limited information to create numerous inventions that transformed civilization.]

Liam stared at the information for several seconds.

So he’s basically this world’s Nikola Tesla.

He closed the archive and looked toward the pantheons.

"Good."

Liam’s gaze shifted toward Calean. "And who else?"

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"I like Calean’s suggestion about adding an Unorthodox one. Conflict may bring destruction, but destruction can also redirect the course of civilization toward outcomes that would otherwise never have existed."

His voice carried a strange weight as he continued.

"Sometimes, it is through conflict that the greatest changes are born."

The pantheons fell silent. And for several moments, nobody offered another name.

Then Calean slowly raised his head. "How about the dragon who conquered the Northern Continent?"

Moleius’s expression changed slightly.

"That dragon?"

He leaned back in his chair. "It is fortunate that he died from consuming too much magic. Had he survived, he might have conquered the entirety of the world."

Liam’s eyes widened.

What? Such a dragon existed? Why didn’t the Planetary Archive tell me about him when I woke up?

He immediately turned his attention toward the system.

System, use the Planetary Archive and tell me who they are referring to.

The archive opened once more.

[Planetary Archive]

[Subject: The King of Dragons]

[Self-Proclaimed Name: Catalyst, The Eternal Ice]

[Catalyst was born within Fishman territory after his mother was killed by a battalion of Griffons. Her body eventually sank into the depths, carrying her unborn child into the water, where a Fishman discovered and rescued him.]

[The Fishman took Catalyst into a secluded cave filled with enormous crystals. There, the young dragon began consuming the crystals, absorbing the immense magical energy contained within them and growing far stronger than dragons of his age.]

[As Catalyst reached adolescence, however, his body could no longer contain the tremendous amount of magic he had accumulated. The Fishman who had raised him eventually died, leaving Catalyst alone within the crystal-filled cave.]

[Overwhelmed by the power inside his body, Catalyst finally erupted from beneath the earth, violently breaking through the surface and leaving a massive path of destruction behind him. He eventually settled within the Northern Continent, a land once inhabited by the Yeti race.]

[Several dragons already occupied the region when Catalyst arrived. Rather than accepting their presence, he challenged each of them one by one, defeating every dragon that stood before him until he became the undisputed ruler of the Northern Continent.]

[Despite possessing enough strength to potentially conquer the entire world, Catalyst possessed an unusual fear toward humanoid races. Whether this fear was inherited from his mother or developed during his early life remained unknown, but he refused to harm Fishmen and showed a particular attachment toward them.]

[Eventually, Catalyst’s own hunger for magical power became his downfall. He continued absorbing crystals until his body could no longer withstand the amount of magic accumulating within him, causing his entire body to freeze from within.]

[Even after his death, the dragon known as Catalyst, the Eternal Ice, remains frozen somewhere within the Northern Continent.]

Liam stared at the information in silence. "That’s a good candidate, then."

He slowly leaned back against his throne. "I didn’t realize there were legendary creatures like this that I had completely missed."

Liam looked across the table at the five pantheons.

"Very well."

The atmosphere immediately became solemn.

"I shall summon them."

Liam paused, allowing his gaze to pass over each of the five beings who had continued watching over his world during his absence.

"You have all carried my creation upon your shoulders while I was gone. You guided civilizations, preserved balance, witnessed countless generations, and continued the work entrusted to you without the presence of your creator."

His voice became deeper.

"For that, you have my gratitude."

The pressure of his presence slowly filled the chamber.

"Continue watching over this world. In time, I shall reward each of you for your service, and when that moment comes, the reward shall be worthy of those who carried out my will beneath the heavens."

The five pantheons lowered their heads.

Liam raised both hands.

Summon

The space before the table began to distort.

Wias the Inventor

The familiar process of creation began.

Particles of light gathered around one of the empty chairs, slowly constructing a body piece by piece. Flesh, bones, clothing, and equipment formed simultaneously until a lizardman appeared seated upon the chair.

Wias wore simple white clothing, while an unfamiliar magical device rested across his back, filled with intricate mechanisms that Liam had never seen before.

Then the second summoning began. "Catalyst, the Eternal Ice."

The temperature inside the chamber suddenly dropped.

A second body began forming beside the table, slowly taking shape from countless particles of light. Long white hair emerged first, followed by the refined physique of a dragon that had once ruled an entire continent.

Catalyst appeared completely naked, his pale body revealing a physique refined through years of absorbing unimaginable amounts of magical energy. His long white hair fell around his shoulders as his eyes slowly opened.

Liam stared at the two newly summoned beings.

I almost forgot that dragon also has different forms for a single moment there.

And now that I think about it...

His attention shifted toward the system.

What would happen if I su\mmoned a baby who died too early, then raised them inside here?

He paused.

Would their potential increase?
