Reincarnated as a damn planet
Chapter 144: The fight continues
"How about a Bloodworm this big?" the little girl asked.
She kissed her fingers once again before moving them in a circular motion. This time, the crimson circle that formed in the air was far larger than before, its edges glowing intensely as an enormous Bloodworm began crawling out from within it.
Yet the Onyx Elf simply sat in the air with his eyes closed, looking as though nothing had happened.
The Bloodworm emerged completely, its enormous body far larger than the previous ones, before lunging toward him. Once again, however, several dark pillars erupted from the ground and intercepted the creature, completely blocking its path.
"Tsk... Not even something this big is enough?"
Frustration appeared on the Scarlet Queen’s face. She levitated higher into the air as a powerful crimson aura began manifesting around her body, covering her like armor while a crimson blade materialized in her hand.
"If simple projectile attacks aren’t enough, then... let’s do this."
She disappeared in an instant.
The Scarlet Queen reappeared directly in front of the Onyx Elf, her crimson blade swinging toward his body. Yet the moment the blade was about to make contact, a dark pillar suddenly erupted between them, taking the attack in her place.
The Scarlet Queen’s eyes widened.
Before she could react, she disappeared again and reappeared in another location, immediately launching another attack. Once again, a dark pillar emerged from the ground and intercepted her blade, forcing her to retreat into the darkness of the forest.
She continued attacking from different directions.
Again and again, she appeared beside the Onyx Elf, attempting to catch him off guard, only for another dark pillar to emerge at the perfect moment and block her attack. It was as if the Onyx Elf did not need to look at her at all.
Suddenly, a massive shockwave erupted through the battlefield and sent the Scarlet Queen flying several meters backward. She managed to stop herself in midair, her eyes shifting toward the enormous Dark Emperor battling against Thousand Petal.
"This guy..." she muttered.
She immediately turned back toward the Onyx Elf and attacked once again.
But every single attack was intercepted by the same dark pillars.
Then, the Onyx Elf finally opened his eyes.
The dark pillars surrounding him immediately vanished, leaving the forest strangely quiet for a brief moment. He slowly looked toward the Scarlet Queen, a confident expression appearing on his face as a dark blade began forming within his hand.
"Enough with this..." he said. "Let’s settle this once and for all."
The Scarlet Queen tightened her grip around her crimson blade.
The two figures disappeared simultaneously.
CLANG!
Their blades collided, sending ripples through the air and shaking the surrounding trees. They exchanged blows at incredible speed, each clash producing another burst of pressure that spread throughout the forest.
The Onyx Elf suddenly bent two fingers.
Two enormous pillars of darkness emerged from the ground and shot toward the Scarlet Queen. However, she reacted instantly, slicing through both pillars before they could reach her.
The Onyx Elf smiled and slowly closed his palm.
A mass of dark energy suddenly manifested around the Scarlet Queen’s body.
"What?"
Before she could react, the darkness violently pulled her downward.
BOOM!
Her body was slammed into the ground, creating a massive explosion that sent dirt, stones, and broken trees flying into the air. The Onyx Elf descended slowly through the smoke, his eyes fixed on the Scarlet Queen.
"This is the end." He raised his hand.
His fingers began moving like a puppeteer controlling invisible strings.
Immediately, countless dark pillars erupted from the ground around the trapped Scarlet Queen. They repeatedly struck her from different directions, each impact shaking the earth beneath them.
The assault continued for several moments.
Then, silence. The smoke slowly cleared.
The Scarlet Queen lay motionless within the crater, her small body covered in bruises and injuries.
The Onyx Elf had won.
He turned his attention toward the rest of the battlefield.
Not far away, the enormous body of the Dark Emperor was covered in wounds, blood dripping from various parts of his body. The vines surrounding him suddenly disappeared, causing his massive body to collapse against the ground with tremendous force.
BOOM!
The impact shook the entire Shade Forest.
"The Thousand Petal... won?"
A trace of genuine shock appeared in the Onyx Elf’s voice.
He had expected the Dark Emperor to overpower Thousand Petal through sheer strength, yet the result had been the complete opposite.
The Onyx Elf slowly turned his gaze toward the distance.
Only one battle remained.
Lapace the Overproud and the Magic Swordswoman.
The forest suddenly shook again, causing the Onyx Elf to stop and look toward the distant horizon. One tree after another began falling, followed by the heavy sound of something enormous moving through the forest.
The Onyx Elf slowly levitated higher into the air to see where the disturbance was coming from. The moment he looked toward the horizon, his pupils shrank.
A massive beast was approaching.
"Beast King?"
The Onyx Elf clearly had not expected to see one anywhere near the Shade Forest, as this beast king clearly doesn’t belong here, He narrowed his eyes and focused on the enormous creature, only to notice two figures standing upon its head.
"The Beast Emperor... and the Sky Devourer?"
Before he could say anything else, the two figures suddenly leaped from the Beast King’s head. The Sky Devourer’s enormous golden wings spread through the air, blocking the moonlight and casting a massive shadow over the forest.
Both figures descended rapidly.
BOOM!
They crashed into the ground only a few meters away from the Onyx Elf, sending dust and debris flying in every direction.
As the dust slowly settled, the Beast Emperor stepped forward and looked toward the battlefield with a calm expression.
"Quite a fun little play you’re putting on."
The Beast Emperor chuckled as he glanced around the battlefield, taking in the destruction left behind by the other Constellations. Broken trees covered the ground, massive craters scarred the earth, and traces of lingering magic still hung heavily in the air.
"What a mess," he muttered, his eyes wandering across the ruined forest. "You people certainly know how to make a battlefield interesting."
