Redemption of a Born Demon
Chapter 607 - 376: Innate Golden Dew, a God Appears to End 100 Lifetimes
Innate didn't reply immediately. Instead, he waited until he had finished the two books in front of him before he stopped reading.
"Four Root Sources, all gathered together. Now that's a grand event, the likes of which have rarely been seen."
A wry smile touched Innate's lips.
"Very well. In the past few days, I've managed to gain a basic understanding of this era. It's about time I made a move for that final objective."
"Tell them I'm willing to meet, but I will decide the location."
Innate said with a smile.
「A short time later, somewhere on the Black Continent.」
This was a primeval savanna, its vegetation lush. Wild animals of every kind roamed the grasslands, hunting or being hunted.
A colossal elephant, abnormally large, strode slowly across the savanna. All predators in its path retreated in instinctual fear.
As the giant elephant entered a stretch of jungle, it suddenly halted.
"Since you have all arrived, why not show yourselves and have a word?"
The giant elephant actually spoke in a human tongue, its eyes glinting with the light of a sapient race.
It was an incredible sight.
"Demon Monarch, who among us doesn't know the secrets of your shapeshifting arts? How can we be certain you've come in your true form?"
A voice rang out from an unknown location, making it impossible to discern its source.
The voice faded, and silence once again descended upon the area.
The giant elephant said no more. The next moment, its massive body began to writhe, its flesh and blood turning into a jade-like jelly. The enormous form rapidly condensed and compressed, finally taking the shape of a three-meter-tall, middle-aged man with brown skin, adorned in primitive decorations.
Such transformative power was comparable to the legendary "Seventy-Two Transformations."
Abyss Court, Demon Monarch.
The very moment the middle-aged man revealed his form, the figure of a handsome young man emerged from the shadows in a corner of the jungle.
He wore an exquisite dark red suit, his golden hair hung loose, and his eyes were like the endless Void, holding an overwhelming authority.
Illuminati, Night King.
From another direction, two more figures emerged.
One was an old man robed in white, holding a scepter.
At the tip of the scepter was a transparent object, like a Crystal Ball, that emitted a faint, pure white glow. A world seemed to be hidden within.
Holy Spirits filled the land, Angels soared through the Sky, and sacred music faintly echoed—a miniature Celestial Kingdom.
Judicial Court, Holy Lord.
The final person was an androgynous individual from Pusaka Country with a sorrowful face. He was gaunt and leaked no terrifying aura, his body covered in intricate, circular tattoos that resembled chains binding him.
Secret Technique Heaven, Ayerayananda.
The name meant "Supreme Enlightenment" in ancient Sanskrit.
"To see you all gathered at once is truly a rare event in all of history."
the Night King said coolly, his gaze flicking to the Holy Lord of the Judicial Court. His fist tightened for a moment before relaxing.
The Illuminati and the Judicial Court had a long-standing feud, the origins of which could be traced back to him, the founder.
He and the Holy Lord had achieved their status at nearly the same time and shared a complicated history.
"That is because someone who is rarely seen in all of history has appeared."
The Demon Monarch's gaze was deep.
"Not only does he possess earth-shattering combat strength and is filled with hostility toward us, but he also has the ability to locate our hidden sanctums. Even a being like the Jade Emperor fell at his hands."
"Never in history has such a person appeared. He is the ultimate calamity this world has produced."
Ayerayananda's voice was filled with sorrow.
"This is hardly the time for such talk. An unprecedented calamity is upon us. We must work together to protect the fruits of our path."
"You all should have received the reply from the Original Vein. This 'Innate' is willing to meet with us and discuss this grave matter, but he wants us to go to Australia to see him. Do we go, or not?"
the Holy Lord said calmly.
"This 'Innate' is putting on far too many airs. He wants to cooperate, to join forces with us, yet he demands that the four of us go to him? What does he take us for?"
"In my opinion, we don't need him. The four of us, united, are more than enough to cleanse the world and eradicate any calamity."
The Night King's voice was cold, a frigid glint in his eyes.
They were all Root Sources, figures who stood at the very pinnacle of human civilization's history. Why should this Innate be so arrogant as to demand that the four of them bend to his will and follow his arrangements?
"If we're talking about that man... he has the right."
"You all achieved your status too recently. Perhaps you don't have a concrete understanding of the name 'Innate'."
"Innate was the first Saint to appear in human civilization after the Earth Immortal Era. In fact, you could say the very standard for a Saint's body was defined by his physical state upon naturally reaching adulthood."
"He is a born divine, the founding tutor of human Cultivation civilization. The very method we use to fuse with Earth Immortal Flesh and Blood was originally created by him."
"If we can cooperate with him, our chances of eliminating this world's calamity will rise to at least eighty percent. Relying on just the four of us, I'm afraid we have a forty percent chance at best."
the Demon Monarch said coolly.
He had achieved his status extremely early. In that era, the legends and glory surrounding Innate had not yet faded, and he had even had a close encounter with him once.
Therefore, he understood all too well how terrifying that man was.
"The four of us only have a forty percent chance, but with him, it becomes eighty percent. Are you saying his power is enough to match the four of us combined?"
The Night King narrowed his eyes.
"If that's truly the case, then I am indeed very interested in meeting this man."
