Red Heart Patrols the Sky
Chapter 2710 - 42: All My Life, I Have Not Revered Deities, Nor Do I Need Reverence from Deities!
"Lately, I’ve not been in the best mood."
The leader of Hell Has No Door sat on a mountain rock, his long hair and the edges of his clothes being tousled by the mountain breeze. His handsome face remained quite calm.
No path up the high mountain can deter those who cultivate.
A tall and lean figure advanced with the wind, just reaching the mountain’s summit. The person wore a Yama Mask on his face, with a blood-red "Song Emperor" inscribed within the eerie white gateway on the forehead.
"Why is that?" he stopped at an appropriate distance and asked, his voice resounding with strength.
King of Qin Guang, the only Yama among them to reveal his true face, leisurely gazed at the distant, overlapping mountain ranges, his tone casual: "Because someone owes me a debt, a substantial sum, but has no intention of paying it back."
"You can seize him, inflict extensive torture, and make him suffer severely," suggested Song Emperor King. "Or you could hand the matter over to me; I only charge a ten percent handling fee."
Yin Guan turned his head to glance at him: "That’s quite a bargain."
"You’re the boss!" Song Emperor King replied.
Yin Guan sighed softly: "Can’t be caught, the guy has fled too far."
"How far could he have gone?" Song Emperor King spoke casually: "Isn’t this exactly what we’re supposed to do?"
"Probably to the Sea of Origin," Yin Guan replied.
Song Emperor King couldn’t keep his composure, his voice dryly amused: "That’s quite far."
"Looks like you’re serious," Yin Guan said.
Song Emperor King was puzzled: "Serious about what?"
"Going to the Sea of Origin to collect the debt for me."
The words seemed like a joke, but Yin Guan spoke seriously.
Without saying another word, Song Emperor King was suddenly wrapped in a whirlwind, breaking through the constraints placed upon him, soaring wildly into the sky!
But alas, he could not.
The whirlwind had barely lifted off before being entirely stained by a shade of jade green. Then it quietly came to a halt in mid-air, resembling a massive, withered flower as its petals fell one by one.
His power died away then and there.
Afterward, he too fell to the ground, remaining silent and still.
The third-ranking Yama in Hell Has No Door was killed so easily!
As common as a fallen dead leaf.
A cold female voice sounded at this moment: "Did you not ask him why he betrayed the organization?"
Watching King of Chu Jiang who appeared at the mountain’s peak, Yin Guan’s tone was indifferent: "I expect no one’s loyalty; he only needs to bear the cost he owes. As for the rest... it’s not important."
King of Chu Jiang said: "At least ask him how much Jinguo paid him, it might help me weigh my options."
Yin Guan replied: "Next time for sure."
King of Chu Jiang might not show any extra emotion, but her voice was icy like a frozen ravine, penetratingly cold. "Your cousin’s whereabouts have already been disclosed by him, so, would you like me to accompany you to rescue her?"
A sheet of paper flew gently to her side.
Yin Guan said softly: "The address leaked by Song Emperor King is false; Su Muqing is here. Please help me send her somewhere far away, preferably to a place known to no one, so she can live her own life."
Underneath the mask, the corners of King of Chu Jiang’s mouth slightly curved: "You’re not planning to visit her?"
Yin Guan stood up, casually remarking as if in small talk: "Strangely, it feels as if someone is cursing me today."
King of Chu Jiang was surprised: "You’re the progenitor of incantations, who could curse you?"
Yin Guan shrugged: "I’ve committed numerous evil deeds, killed countless people, there must be some who curse me in their hearts, hoping I die soon, and die miserably... it’s not strange at all."
King of Chu Jiang used her index and middle fingers to hold the paper with the address noted on it, shaking it lightly, rustling it. "You still haven’t answered my question."
Yin Guan said nothing, just stepped onto the void, walking away on his own.

The influence of Yuan Laoxi in the Fruit and Flower Club was even stronger than Chai Asi had imagined.
Simply leading him around the headquarters of the Fruit and Flower Club and meeting the president, Yuan Yong’s death was easily covered up, even quieter than when his grandfather was run over by a carriage.
He seamlessly filled Yuan Yong’s vacancy, becoming one of the five hall masters of Water Curtain Hall.
Of course, the Great Ancient God was aware, the cunning Yuan Laoxi was originally the most deeply hidden hall master in the Fruit and Flower Club, with his power intertwined. Only because he kept a demon for worship, forcing him to continually offer blood sacrifices, did he consciously understated his influence to avoid attracting attention from law enforcers, allowing rising stars like Yuan Yong to ascend.
Now, with the demon awakened, Yama descending, the newly appointed pope of No Gate Cult, Yuan Laoxi, with lofty aspirations, was eager to expand the religious force, unreservedly aiding Chai Asi, who excelled in swordsmanship.
While he roped in allies and secured capable subordinates, he also took firm control of the Flower Street, which facilitated covert preaching.
Compared to the well-weathered and shrewd Yuan Laoxi, Chai Asi was indeed much too inexperienced.
But as a chosen demon bearing the Ancient divine mirror, the Great Ancient God remained unyieldingly supportive of him.
As the new hall master, Chai Asi did not move houses and continued living in the old house left by his grandfather. Following the guidance of Divine Venerable of the Ancient God, he seized opportunities for fame and fortune, distributing all the wealth newly acquired from his hall master position to his brothers, thereby winning favor among demons.
In contrast to the greedy and tyrannical Yuan Yong, this new hall master could indeed be described as righteousness incarnate, where benevolence prevails.
When Chai Asi had practiced a set of swordsmanship two hundred times over and, exhausted, returned to his room, the voice of the Great Ancient God timely resonated —
