Moving quickly, the two of them hurried into a secluded, shadowed alley where no passersby were around before Yu Qi summoned Aoi.

The moment Aoi materialised, Yu Qi briefly explained the urgency of the situation to her.

Aoi did not waste a single moment asking questions. She immediately activated her invisibility mode and expanded her frame, growing large enough for both Yu Qi and Long Hui to comfortably ride on her back.

"Hop on! Let’s go!" Aoi said.

Yu Qi and Long Hui leapt onto Aoi’s back in one fluid motion.

As soon as they settled securely on her back, Aoi took off like a shot.

Locking onto the faint trace of Shino’s scent floating through the air, Aoi sprinted forward at full speed.

Her pace was blisteringly fast, cutting through the terrain like a streak of lightning.

What would have normally taken a full hour by car was dramatically compressed into a mere fifteen-minute ride. That was the sheer, terrifying speed Aoi was capable of.
