"Let’s exit the public tour first. We will slip back inside using invisible mode later this evening." Yu Qi instructed.

’Xiaohua, I need you to throw a convincing tantrum right now so we have a valid excuse to leave early. It would look suspicious if we suddenly walked out without a reason.’ Yu Qi communicated telepathically.

’Understood, Master! Leave it entirely to me.’ Xiaohua chirped back happily.

Then, completely out of nowhere, Xiaohua threw her head back and let out a piercing, heartbroken wail.

"I want to leave right now! It is so boring and stuffy in here! I don’t want to stay another minute!" Xiaohua shrieked at the top of her lungs, instantly bursting into a dramatic flood of tears.

Every head in the tour group whipped around in surprise, staring wide-eyed at the sudden outburst.

Yu Qi immediately snapped into character, instantly playing the part of a flustered, apologetic mother trying to placate her child.

"Oh, sweetheart, come on now. Don’t throw a fit like that in public. Get up." Yu Qi coaxed softly, pretending to scold her gently.

"No! I want to go home! I hate it here!" Xiaohua continued howling, her tiny face scrunched up in an exaggerated scowl as genuine tears streamed down her cheeks, making her look thoroughly miserable.

Deng Chen hurried over, looking visibly flustered and apologetic as he knelt down slightly.

"Ma’am, I sincerely apologise. Given that the little one is clearly distressed and unhappy, perhaps it would be best for your family to head outside and get some fresh air." Deng Chen advised politely.

"That’s right! If you can’t control your children, why bother bringing them to a high-security research facility in the first place? You should have just taken them to a children’s theme park instead." The girl named Suyi sneered aloud, crossing her arms and shooting an irritated glare at Yu Qi and Xiaohua.

Before Suyi could say anything more, one of her male companions roughly yanked her arm.

"Shut your mouth, Suyi. Just let the staff handle it." The group leader snapped at her in a harsh whisper. He then turned to Yu Qi with an embarrassed expression. "Please forgive her, ma’am. She does not know how to filter her words."

"It is quite alright. We were planning on cutting our visit short anyway." Yu Qi replied smoothly with a polite nod.

Deng Chen looked visibly relieved by her gracious response.

"Please wait right here in the alcove for a moment. I will immediately page an escort to guide you back to the main lobby." Deng Chen offered.

"Thank you very much," Yu Qi said with a gentle nod.

Deng Chen quickly tapped his communicator, quietly explaining the situation to security before requesting a staff member to come assist them.

True to his word, within less than three minutes, a uniformed staff member hurried over and greeted them with a polite bow.

"Please follow me, everyone. I will escort you back to the main entrance." The employee instructed.

Yu Qi offered a warm smile, reaching down to firmly take Xiaohua’s little hand. "Come along, sweetie. We are going home now."

"Okay, Mommy..." Xiaohua gave a cute little sniffle, wiping away her fake tears and nodding obediently.

Long Hui stepped up right behind them, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings while Xiaoliu walked quietly by his side.

The four of them followed the staff member down the corridor toward the exit, seamlessly breaking away from the public tour group and leaving the main research exhibition behind them.

However, not a single person in the vicinity noticed the knowing, brilliant smile that briefly curved across Yu Qi’s lips.

They had successfully mapped out the location and secured the exact coordinates of the underground entrance.

They left the Shenxie Research Centre; however, they did not venture very far. Instead, they pulled over to visit a few nearby shops. Yu Qi instructed Xiaohua and Xiaoliu to retreat into the Sere for the time being, promising to summon them again once they returned to the research facility.

After parking their car, Yu Qi and Long Hui stepped out, casually blending in like ordinary shoppers out for a routine weekend stroll. They wandered casually toward a quiet, secluded corner where no passersby were in sight.

Once they verified that the area was completely clear, Yu Qi instructed Aoi to activate their invisible mode. She then summoned Aoi out from the Sere. She intended to ride Aoi back to the Shenxie Research Centre.

Aoi was more than happy to serve as his master’s mount. He immediately lowered his body, allowing Yu Qi and Long Hui to climb onto his back.
