Chapter 2737: Move To Rescue Tang Qin Hao

Chapter 2737: Chapter 2737: Move To Rescue Tang Qin Hao

For the very first time since waking up in the heavy darkness, a troubling, sinister thought slowly surfaced in Tang Qin Hao’s mind. Perhaps his kidnapping was not a random, isolated incident at all. Perhaps someone incredibly dangerous had been targeting him from the very beginning.

Despite the gravity of the situation, Tang Qin Hao remained remarkably calm as he carefully analysed his current predicament. Judging from everything he had observed so far, the mastermind behind this operation probably did not intend to kill him immediately. If they truly wanted his life, there would have been no need to go through the immense trouble of keeping him alive and confined in this manner. Therefore, at least for the moment, he did not need to worry about losing his life.

Even so, being locked inside an unfamiliar, windowless room while chained up like a common criminal was enough to slowly eat away at an ordinary person’s sanity. The psychological toll of uncertainty was often far worse than any physical pain.

Meanwhile, Tang Qin Hao had absolutely no idea that Yu Qi and Long Hui had already begun moving to rescue him. After swiftly leaving the chaotic conference venue, Yu Qi brought Aoi out with them from Sere into the outside world. Before taking any further action, she instructed Long Hui and Aoi to head toward the secluded lower level of the parking lot first.

"What exactly are you going to do?" Long Hui asked, keeping his voice low.

"I am taking our car into Sere." Yu Qi stated flatly.

Long Hui immediately understood her intention. Yu Qi entered Sere together with the vehicle, temporarily leaving Long Hui and Aoi waiting in the shadows of the parking lot. Since Angelica Lee’s people had already thoroughly tampered with the hotel’s CCTV surveillance system to cover their own tracks, Yu Qi did not need to worry about anyone discovering her extraordinary actions through security footage. After storing the vehicle safely inside Sere, she exited once more.

"Let’s go out." Yu Qi stated, her eyes flashing with determination.

The three of them quickly and silently left the hotel grounds. Once they were far enough away from prying eyes and bustling city traffic, Aoi transformed into his true physical form. A moment later, a massive silver wolf appeared majestically before them. His powerful body completely towered over ordinary wolves, and his piercing golden eyes gleamed sharply beneath the afternoon sunlight.

"Master, climb up," Aoi said, lowering his massive shoulders.

"Okay." Yu Qi nodded.

Without a second thought or hesitation, both Yu Qi and Long Hui leapt gracefully onto Aoi’s broad back.

"Hold on tight. I am going to move now." Aoi declared.

"Alright. You can depart now." Yu Qi said.

The instant the words left her mouth, Aoi shot forward like an arrow. His enormous body became nothing more than a magnificent silver blur against the landscape. The scenery around them rapidly streaked past in a kaleidoscope of colours. Aoi already knew the exact location because Yu Qi had shared the tracker’s precise coordinates with him earlier through their mental link. Therefore, he ran directly toward their destination without wasting a single second.

Despite travelling at an astonishing, supernatural speed, Aoi expertly avoided every single vehicle on the road. He moved through the terrain like a phantom. Several motorcyclists cruising down the asphalt suddenly felt a powerful, roaring gust of wind rush past them. Startled by the sudden pressure, they instinctively looked around in confusion.

"What on earth was that?"

"Did you feel that just now?"

The riders searched their surroundings frantically, trying to find the source of the strange phenomenon. However, they saw absolutely nothing but an empty road behind them.

Meanwhile, Aoi continued sprinting forward with effortless strides. Soon, they left the concrete jungle of the city far behind. The suburban roads became increasingly deserted, stretching out into the countryside. With fewer vehicles obstructing his path, Aoi accelerated even further, the wind howling around them. The distance between them and the target location rapidly shrank to nothing.

Eventually, the familiar house from the Spirit Tracker’s recording appeared within their sight. The isolated building stood entirely alone amidst the vast emptiness of the landscape. No neighbouring houses. No nearby witnesses. No unnecessary attention. It was indeed the perfect location for hiding a kidnapped victim.

Aoi finally came to an abrupt, screeching stop directly in front of the property. The sudden halt generated a powerful, explosive gust of wind that surged forward like an invisible tidal wave. Several bodyguards stationed outside the house were immediately caught off guard and violently knocked off their feet.

"Argh!"

"What the hell?!"

The men crashed heavily onto the hard ground in complete confusion. Those who had managed to remain standing hurried over to help their fallen comrades.

"What is going on out here?"

"Shit! That wind was ridiculously strong!" One of the fallen men complained while struggling to get back up, dusting off his clothes.

Even to his own ears, the explanation sounded entirely ridiculous. He simply could not accept that a mere gust of wind had been strong enough to knock a grown man over.

Several of his companions were already trying, and failing miserably, to suppress their laughter at his expense.

Suddenly, the front door clicked open. The middle-aged man who had ruthlessly injected Tang Qin Hao with the sedative stepped outside onto the porch. He raised an eyebrow, annoyance clear on his face as he looked at the chaotic scene.

"What happened out here?" The middle-aged man asked sharply.

"They said a sudden, strong wind knocked them right over." One of the standing guards answered truthfully.

"What?" The middle-aged man scoffed in disbelief. "Are you all absolute idiots?"
