The next morning, Yu Qi was on the way to Old Man Ming’s house when Doctor Ma Junjie and Nurse Zhang Enlai blocked her way. They looked like they were angry about something. Yu Qi stepped back, putting some distance between her and them.
"What is this?" Yu Qi asked.
"What nonsense that you tell others about us?" Doctor Ma Junjie questioned Yu Qi.
"Huh?" Yu Qi tilted her head, feeling confused.
"Doctor Tang, I don’t know that you are this kind of woman." Nurse Zhang Enlai shook his head, showing that he was disappointed about Yu Qi.
"Can you explain what you’re mumbling about?" Yu Qi asked.
"You told Doctor Duan that we said something bad about you." Doctor Ma Junjie said.
Yu Qi chuckled. ’Talking bad about them?’
"Are you chuckling about, huh?" Doctor Ma Junjie gritted her teeth.

"Oh... Just wait 10 minutes. You can move again later." Yu Qi stated. She looked at the time. "I’m already late. Tsk... It is because of you."
Yu Qi left them and continued to walk to Old Man Ming’s house. The door to Old Man Ming was already open widely.
"Mr Ming... I am sorry, I am late. I handle something else early." Yu Qi apologised to Old Man Ming when she saw him.
"It’s fine, Doctor Tang." Old Man Ming said.
He was not angry at all. Yu Qi was their saviour. He was so happy yesterday. His wife already managed to get out of bed and walked slowly with his support.
"Doctor Tang, my wife, can get out of bed." Old Man Ming announced it to Yu Qi.
"That is good news. She showed improvement. I believe that after today, she will be healthy again." Yu Qi said.
"Yes... Yes..." Old Man Ming nodded.
"I am going to brew the medicine for the last time." Yu Qi stated.
"Alright, Doctor Tang, I will go to my wife and tell her to get ready for her medicine." Old Man Ming nodded.
Yu Qi took out the herbs. She prepared them. Then, she brewed the medicine. After the medicine was ready, Yu Qi brought the medicine to Old Madam Ming.
Seeing Yu Qi, Old Madam Ming smiled brightly. Old Madam Ming had indeed recovered well. Her face was no longer pale. Her smile was no longer a sad smile but a happy one.
"Here you are. This will be the last medicine that you will drink." Yu Qi stated.
"How about tonight?" Old Man Ming asked.
"No... This is the last one." Yu Qi stated.
Old Madam Ming took the bowl and started drinking straight from it. She had stopped using the spoon or straw. Within a minute, Old Madam Ming finished drinking the medicine.
"I am done. Doctor Tang, do you need to apply acupuncture again?" Old Madam Ming asked.
"No... But I will read your pulse first." Yu Qi stated.
"Sure." Old Madam Ming stretched her hand to Yu Qi.
Yu Qi read Old Madam Ming’s pulse. It was long. Actually, Yu Qi was checking to see whether the poison was gone or if some was still left. However, it seemed the poison was really gone from Old Madam Ming’s body. She felt relieved.
Old Man Ming was tense. He was scared that the recovery that his wife experienced might be just an illusion. He was also scared.
Yu Qi released Old Madam Ming’s hand and smiled. "Hmm... I think everything is clear. The poison was gone."
The couple was so happy. Old Man Ming rushed and hugged his wife. At first, Old Madam Ming also hugged her husband back. Then, she realised that Yu Qi was still there. She pushed her husband.
"Doctor Tang is still here. Behave yourself." Old Madam Ming scolded her husband.
"Yes... Yes... I will listen to my wife." Old Man Ming nodded, following his wife’s words, letting go of her, but he still held her hand.
"Mrs Ming, you must be blessed to have a husband like this." Yu Qi nodded.
Old Madam Ming smiled. "Hmm... I am really grateful. Even after I fell sick, he never thought to leave me and still took care of me diligently."
"You are my wife. I promise your parents that I will take care of you forever." Old Man Ming expressed his feelings.
