"Don’t expect us to send you back. You have the legs, so you can walk." Ming Yue said.
Fang Lifen forgot about that. However, because of her pride, she refused to say anything. They ended walking for 25 minutes before reaching the security gate. Su Jinhai wanted to call a taxi. But they did not want much money.
They tried to call Su Ke Ke, but Su Ke Ke did not answer her call. Su Jinhai called Su Ke Ke with many words, making the security guards feel uncomfortable when they heard the words. It was not something that should be called for someone. The security guards ended up driving them away from the security gate.
They had to withstand the heat because it was the middle of the day when the sun was up their sky. They planned to take the bus, but they did not see any bus stop. They did not know that this area did not have any bus stops because this area was a rich neighbourhood.
In the end, Su Jinhai called the taxi even though they had no money to spare. They just wanted the taxi to send them to the nearest bus stop. It was 5 km away. When the taxi dropped them off, and the driver told them the fee, they argued, saying that the fee was too high for a short distance.
The driver wanted the money, refusing to let them out. Su Jinhai punched the driver. The driver ran out of the road and asked for help from the people at the bus stop. He told them that the customers were refusing to pay the fee and punched him when he refused to let them out. He also asked someone to call the police. One of them called the police when he saw the bruise and the bleeding on the driver’s mouth.
Su Jinhai, Su Jinxiu and Fang Lifen managed to come out of the car through the driver’s door. When they got out, they were blocked by people. Su Jinhai immediately hid behind his mother.
"What is this?" Fang Lifen shouted.
"You refused to pay for the taxi. And not only that, you even attack someone. You will not be going anywhere. Wait until the police come." A person said.
"What? We don’t attack anyone." Fang Lifen denied it.
"So, it is true that you don’t want to pay for your fee?" Someone asked.
"That is a lie. I already paid for it." Fang Lifen denied it again.
"I have proof." The driver shouted. "The proof that you refused to pay me, and that man punched me."
"You old bastard!!" Su Jinhai shouted.
Su Jinhai wanted to rush to the driver. But people stopped him.
The siren could be heard. Meaning the police had arrived. Fang Lifen was panicked. She immediately pulled her son to calm down. Su Jinhai seemed to realise that. He stepped closer to his mother.
The police got out of their car and asked what the problem was. The driver approached the police officer and explained what had happened. The police nodded several times, and they followed the driver to the taxi.
The driver had a dashcam that recorded outside the car and also inside the car. Everything had been recorded. The driver asked for the payment, but Fang Lifen and her two children refused to pay, and the clear-cut video showed that Su Jinhai punched the driver in his face.
The police nodded and walked toward Fang Lifen and her two children. Su Jinhai hid behind Fang Lifen again.
"Madam, you and them need to come with me to the police station." The police officer said.
"What? We don’t do anything wrong." Fang Lifen protested.
"Madam, we have the evidence. Please cooperate." The police officer said.
Su Jinhai made the worst decision when he decided to run away. One of the police officers rushed to chase Su Jinhai. The police officer tackled Su Jinhai, pushing him to the ground and handcuffed him right there.
"Mom!!! Mom!!!" Su Jinhai shouted frantically.
"Calm down." The police officer said.
But Su Jinhai acted like he would be executed after this. He shouted again and again until the police officers could not stand up. He taped Su Jinhai’s mouth.
They brought Fang Lifen, Su Jinhai and Su Jinxiu to the police station. The driver also followed them to the police station. After the driver gave his statement, he left. Fang Lifen and her two children could not help.
The police officer told Fang Lifen that the driver wanted to sue them for assault and fraud. The police asked Fang Lifen to call someone to bait them out. Fang Lifen tried to call Su Ke Ke. No answer. She tried many times, but still no answer. She wanted to call Su Ke Ke some names, but held back when she remembered that she was in the police station.
In the end, Fang Lifen had no choice but to call her husband. Su Peizhi was shocked to hear that his wife and children were in the police station for some crime. Fang Lifen told Su Peizhi that he needed to come to the police station to post bail for them.
