Then, something happened. The light surrounded the monster plant. Yu Qi had to close her eyes because it blinded her. After a few moments, feeling the light had gone, she opened her eyes. In front of her, a boy appeared at the same place where the monster plant had stood earlier.

"Brother Hui, is he..." Yu Qi turned to Long Hui, asking the question.

Long Hui nodded. The boy had the same features as Long Hui, but in a younger version. Yu Qi smiled widely. She had seen Long Hui when he was a kid. Feng Yue showed it to Yu Qi before.

Yu Qi approached the kid. "Hello. Can you talk now?"

The child tried to open her mouth, trying to talk. "Yes."

Yu Qi picked the child. The child was startled and wanted to strike her, but he heard the voice in his mind telling him not to. He turned to Long Hui. It was his master who talked to him.

'Don't you dare hit her?' Long Hui said.

The child frowned. He could not do anything to the woman who held her right now. He could just endure.

While holding the child, Yu Qi turned to Long Hui. "Brother Hui, he looked like you when you were younger." She spoke without thinking.

"Oh... How do you know about that? I don't remember showing the picture of me when I was a kid." Long Hui raised his eyebrow.

Yu Qi moved her eyes to the side, avoiding Long Hui's eyes.

"Hmmm?" Long Hui made the sound.

"It is Feng Yue who showed your picture to me." Yu Qi shifted the blame to Feng Yue.

Feng Yue, who was writing the report, sneezed. "Who is talking behind my back?" She wiped her nose with a tissue.

"Oh... It's her." Long Hui displayed a smile.

Feng Yue suddenly felt cold on her back. She looked at the time. It was already 9 p.m. Maybe it was time for her to return home and get some rest.
