Deep within the wormhole space, inside Thanos's exclusive warship, the Sanctuary II, the Black Order and Thanos's two adopted daughters, Gamora and Nebula, were accompanying Thanos as they watched the light screen before them.

The screen was displaying scenes from the Battle of New York.

"That so-called Asgardian prince is utterly useless, actually defeated by a simple-minded brute who only knows how to use raw strength…"

Cull Obsidian, the leader of the Black Order, watched Loki's miserable defeat on the screen, showing no sympathy, but rather a look of mockery.

"Are you looking down on big guys?"

Ebony Maw, who was simple-minded and strong among the Black Order and also known for his brute force, while also looking down on Loki, was even more displeased by Cull Obsidian's "area attack."

"What, did I hit a sore spot?" As the strongest among the Black Order, Cull Obsidian declared that he despised all weaklings equally.

"Squash-face, I've long been annoyed by you. If you've got the guts, let's go outside and spar—" Ebony Maw was enraged by Cull Obsidian's arrogance.

The Black Order was forcibly subdued by Thanos through absolute power, and their relationships were not harmonious, so they often had disagreements in private.

"Forget it, I'm afraid you'd die by my Cull Obsidian…"

"What did you say, squash-face? If you've got the guts, don't just be tough with your mouth…"

"…"

The two argued more and more fiercely, seeming on the verge of coming to blows.

Thanos, sitting on the main seat with his chin propped on his hand, seemed disturbed. He coldly called out, "Quiet!"

As Thanos spoke, Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw immediately quieted down.

The scene instantly became so quiet that a pin drop could be heard.

"Father, I think Cull Obsidian is right. Loki is indeed useless and not worth our cooperation…" The blue-skinned Nebula, having finally found an opportunity to prove herself, spoke up under pressure, requesting, "Why don't you send me to take over the Infinity Stone and conquer this planet for you?"

However, facing his adopted daughter's proactive request, Thanos maintained his posture, chin propped on his hand, noncommittal.

Thanos, who had not yet collected all six Infinity Stones, had not reached his peak strength.

Therefore, he was still relatively cautious in his actions.

Knowing that Earth was guarded by Odin and the Ancient One, his attack on New York this time was more of a probe.

In other words, Loki was just a pawn, and it didn't matter whether he succeeded or not.

Thanos's cooperation with him was merely to use him to gauge Odin and the Ancient One's attitudes.

Since it was a probe, there was no need to commit too much force at once.

Clearly, Nebula, as Thanos's adopted daughter, failed to grasp this point.

"For a planet that hasn't entered the interstellar age, it's not hard for Father to conquer it; he doesn't need you to make decisions for him." On the other side, Gamora, who had realized something, timely mocked her nominal sister.

As mentioned before, Thanos's army was gathered solely by his might.

Under this model, not only were there frequent frictions within the Black Order, but even his two adopted daughters had a competitive relationship.

"You're talking nonsense, I just want to help Father share the burden." After being taunted by her sister, Nebula quickly defended herself.

She was afraid of leaving a bad impression on Thanos.

"So you mean you doubt Father's capability?" Gamora, who always had the upper hand over her sister, showed a cunning smile on her face.

"No, I didn't mean that…" Nebula, having been cornered, looked at Thanos in a panic, admitting her mistake: "Please believe me, Father. My loyalty to you is as clear as the sun and moon!"

The strong rise, the weak fall; this was Thanos's way of managing his subordinates.

Therefore, regardless of Nebula's loyalty, having been outmaneuvered in this sisterly skirmish, she had already incurred Thanos's displeasure.

Just as Nebula was anxious, the Black Order watched indifferently, and Gamora was slightly smug, a huge explosion suddenly echoed outside the Sanctuary II.

So much so that the entire warship trembled slightly.

"Is this the power humans can possess?" On top of Stark Tower, Captain America looked up at the sky, a surprised expression suddenly appearing on his face.

"Perhaps if we don't close the wormhole, we can still win…" On the other side, Iron Man, who was analyzing the Tesseract's shield, also couldn't help but look up after hearing the commotion in the sky.

Only to see that at the wormhole entrance high in the sky, the two giant Leviathans blocking Mike's path were gradually turning into dust under the invasion of holy light.

In an instant, silver dust, like a galaxy, cascaded down from above.

This dreamlike sight immediately captivated the attention of the Avengers members.

Even the Hulk had a hint of shock in his eyes.

As for Mike, after easily dealing with the two Leviathans, he was met with a large wave of small escort ships.

At the same time, the light screen inside the Sanctuary II's main ship also shifted its focus to him.

"I didn't expect there to be such a strong individual on this remote planet…" Cull Obsidian watched Mike effortlessly shoot down several small warships on the screen and asked with interest, "Master, please allow me to eliminate him."

"How can there be a battle without me…" Ebony Maw immediately stood out and said.

"…"

Immediately after, the other three members of the Black Order, eager to show their loyalty, also scrambled to fight, and even Nebula looked a bit eager.

However, what was strange was that the enthusiasm shown by his subordinates did not make Thanos happy; instead, his expression grew even more solemn.

It was at this moment that a sudden set of footsteps echoed within the Sanctuary II.

"Oh, are you all having a meeting?" Mike strolled leisurely to stand before Thanos.

That relaxed feeling was as if he had returned home.

Only then did the Black Order and Nebula realize that the human who had just been fighting on the screen had disappeared.

As for where he went?

The person standing before them was him.

Such a terrifying sight made many people unconsciously swallow their saliva.

"Who are you?" Thanos, feeling a huge threat, had unknowingly straightened his posture.

His hands were crossed in front of him, adopting a defensive stance.

"I'm just a passing traveler…" Mike walked past the Black Order, looking at their tense bodies, and said with a smile, "You don't need to mind me, just go about your business."

Super Self-Healing (Trait)… Regeneration (Trait)… Combat Proficiency (Experience)… Super Defense (Trait)… Super Strength (Trait)…

Subsequently, Mike circled everyone in the Sanctuary II as if no one else was there, and at the same time, collected the energy traits he needed.

During this time, Gamora, who had a rebellious streak, secretly threw several flirtatious glances at Mike.

It was just a pity that Mike had no great interest in the exotic.

"Traveler, what is your purpose?"

Even though the human's series of actions since his arrival had been nonsensical, Thanos, with his strong sense of impending danger, still dared not underestimate him, only probing: "If you wish to protect that planet, my fleet and I can leave immediately."

With Odin and the Ancient One present, and now an unknown strong individual inexplicably appearing.

This had already made Thanos largely abandon the idea of conquering Earth.

At least until these three strong individuals "disappeared," Thanos was not planning to return to Earth.

"I've already said it, I'm just a passing traveler." Mike, having briefly toured the Sanctuary II, waved his hand indifferently and said, "You all continue with your work, we'll meet again if fate allows—"

The energy traits he needed had been obtained.

As for Thanos and his subordinates, in Mike's view, they still had their uses.

That would be to contribute [Fear Value], or to help spread his name throughout the universe.

Yes, having reached Mike's level of strength, his vision was no longer confined to one place.

…

"What do we do next?"

Watching Mike's stylish arrival and sudden departure, Cull Obsidian, after calming down slightly, looked up at Thanos, who was seated above.

At this moment, Cull Obsidian's heart was still enveloped by fear, and his previous fighting spirit had vanished.

The situation for everyone else in the Sanctuary II was much the same as his.

So, everyone looked to Thanos, their backbone, waiting for his next instruction.

"Gather the fleet, we are retreating."

Thanos spoke expressionlessly, showing little emotion.

As his command was issued, the entire fleet immediately cut off contact with Earth's forces, and then, using spatial technology, quickly disengaged from the wormhole.

"Don't think I don't know what you just did. Be careful, or I'll report your little tricks to Father." At the same time, Nebula, leaving the Sanctuary II's main bay, due to her previous frustration, lightly warned Gamora, who was walking alongside her.

Clearly, Gamora's little action of winking at Mike earlier had been seen by Nebula.

Believing she had caught her sister's weakness, a smug expression involuntarily appeared on her face.

"Suit yourself," Gamora dropped a sentence and had no intention of arguing with Nebula.

She was indeed thinking about an escape plan now.

There weren't many people in the universe who could make Thanos wary, and Mike was one of them.

Therefore, Gamora was considering the likelihood of seeking Mike's protection after escaping Thanos's control.

"Hmph, what's so great about that? One day I'll step all over you." Nebula, whose threat had no effect, watched Gamora's retreating back and gnashed her teeth fiercely.
