Qin Xue didn’t let Nannan notice what she was thinking. The child was too sensible and too sensitive. She didn’t want him to have any other ideas, so she didn’t do anything but wrote a note and took the child out.

"Auntie, that person?" Qin Xue returned with Nannan after dinner and saw someone following Dongfang Li at a corner.

"Does Nannan know him?" Qin Xue looked in the direction Nannan pointed and then asked him.

Nannan just looked silently and didn’t answer Qin Xue. He wanted to cry; he’d finally come.

"What’s wrong, Nannan? Is it that you don’t recognize him?" Qin Xue glanced over there and then turned to look at Nannan, who remained silent.

"I do." Nannan nodded; he was very familiar with that person, how could he not know him.

"So, do you mean we should go up?" Qin Xue examined the person following Dongfang Li to see if there was any other intention.

She didn’t see any malice from that person, so she hadn’t said anything beforehand, wanting to see how Dongfang Li would respond. But it seemed she didn’t notice someone following her, given how close he was, and looking at Dongfang Li’s uneasy emotions, it wouldn’t make sense to say she hadn’t noticed.

"No, let’s not disturb them." Nannan held Qin Xue’s hand tightly; he had wanted this opportunity for a long time and didn’t want to waste it.

"Oh, alright, I’ll listen to you." Qin Xue wasn’t interested in interfering in others’ relationships, but she could see there was something unusual between them.

Because she noticed that although Dongfang Li hadn’t turned around and seemed unaware someone was following her, her hurried steps betrayed her. This proved she knew someone was behind, or it meant the person behind was the one who unsettled her heart, causing her to act this way.

But what kind of reason would make someone follow silently like this? Could it be what she thought?

"Nannan, is he your dad?" Qin Xue looked at Nannan, who was holding her hand tightly. His little hand was trembling a bit; it seemed not only was Dongfang Li’s heart disturbed, but the child’s heart was even more excited.

"Yes, I didn’t expect him to come look for Mom." Nannan nodded; Qin Xue’s words let him know he wasn’t dreaming. Dad really came to find them. He had dreamt about Dad earlier, and never expected to see him appear in front of him so quickly.

Though he never said anything, he missed his father very much.

But to avoid making his mother sad, he always held back from mentioning it. Now seeing him suddenly appear before him, he wanted to cry.

"Alright, you go with Auntie to another shop; leave this place for your parents," Qin Xue understood upon hearing this. Indeed, the man was very handsome, no wonder Nannan was so good-looking. "Okay, Auntie, do you think Mom and Dad will reconcile?" Nannan never dared to ask Dongfang Li this question. To him, his mother’s happiness was more important than his own emotions.

"They will, they just need more communication. Once things are talked out, they’ll be fine. You don’t have to worry; they will be alright, trust me." Qin Xue thought about what Dongfang Li said about her husband. They were obviously two different people, and if they don’t communicate properly, how can there not be many problems?
