Even it knew how good the master was, but Red Snake still wanted to leave, and it didn’t want to see Red Snake like this. Hearing its words, Snow Wolf was annoyed with Red Snake.

"How am I being petty? Can you honestly say the master didn’t secretly abandon me before? If I hadn’t found my way back, would you still see me here? You dare call me petty when you’re the one without discernment to distinguish right from wrong, saying such things about me. Hmph, I’m ignoring you." Red Snake was angry; it had done so much, yet everyone ignored it and made sarcastic remarks, really hurting its heart.

Now, though, it didn’t know what to say because it was just too infuriating. It wanted to be like Xue Ling. It had been brought here unexpectedly and wasn’t happy, which was normal. Couldn’t they just compromise a bit for it? Otherwise, it wouldn’t be feeling so resistant.

Red Snake also wanted to get along as Xue Ling and Snow Wolf did, but because of what it did before, it was always criticized, making it even tougher on itself.

"What are you guys talking about, hiding so far away?" After finishing the conversation with Xue Ling, Qin Xue looked up and saw her two beloved pets seemingly quarreling over something.

"Master, are you done talking?" The two little cute critters looked at Qin Xue as she came up to them.

"We’re done talking. What are you arguing about?" Qin Xue sat on the steps, looking at them.

"It’s Red Snake; it said you were plotting a conspiracy to abandon it. Our master isn’t like that; how could she do such a thing, right?" Snow Wolf couldn’t believe Qin Xue was a bad person at all.

"You’re something else. If I really did that, no matter what, you’d never return here, so you can rest assured. Whatever I do will be out in the open." Qin Xue wasn’t someone who schemed behind people’s backs.
