Chapter 1944: Chapter 1938 Deciding by Rock-Paper-Scissors
"So what do you all think we should do?" Qin Xue just watched them, wanting to see what kind of decision they’d make.
"Let’s play rock-paper-scissors. Whoever loses will be the eagle," Cohen suggested, looking at everyone before speaking.
’Sure, we don’t have any problem with that.’ Everyone agreed with Cohen’s decision.
"Scissors, rock, paper." The kids looked at their outstretched hands and then at Cohen in unison.
"Alright, I’ll be the eagle then." Cohen originally wanted to be a chick with Qin Xue, but who told him to lose.
"Yay, Brother Cohen is the eagle. Mom, you have to protect us and don’t let Brother Cohen catch us." Yu Chen was delighted to be on a team with his mom.
"Well, that depends on how well you work with me." Qin Xue smiled at the children; it wasn’t that she didn’t want to help, but she wanted the kids to understand that teamwork requires cooperation.
"We will definitely collaborate with you." Yu Chen looked at his mom, then at his brothers, and nodded emphatically. He was determined to do it.
"Alright, let’s start then." Qin Xue didn’t say anything else, letting the kids stand behind her and then began leading them in the game.
Fang Xiu watched them play energetically from the side, and when Cohen nearly caught them several times, Fang Xiu held her breath in suspense.
Seeing Qin Xue always leading the kids away at the last moment, Fang Xiu knew Qin Xue was doing it on purpose. She thought, there’s no way a grown-up with a few little ones could let them get caught.
"Okay, kids, it’s time to wash up and go to sleep. Don’t stay up too late playing," Qin Xue said as she looked at the sky, stopping the children from playing.
"Okay, Mom, can we play again tomorrow?" Cohen was a bit unwilling since he didn’t catch anyone, so he wanted another chance to win.
"That’s fine, but I won’t join in next time. You kids can play by yourselves." Qin Xue had something to do tomorrow, so she didn’t have time to play games; dealing with important matters was a priority.
"Alright then, we can play when you’re free." Cohen didn’t expect Qin Xue to refuse him.
"I’ll be taking care of your adoption procedures tomorrow, so I can’t delay," Qin Xue explained to the kids to prevent them from becoming unhappy.
"Alright, I understand. You go take care of that, Mom; I’ll look after my brothers." When Cohen first heard Qin Xue couldn’t play with them, he was a bit upset, but once he knew it was because she was handling his procedures, he was so happy he almost shouted.
"Good, that’s a good child, very impressive." Qin Xue praised Cohen.𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"Mom, you’re amazing too." Cohen was just glad that Qin Xue wasn’t avoiding them out of annoyance.
Once the procedures were completed, it meant that he’d officially become Qin Xue and Chu Molin’s child, and he could ask them for help whenever he didn’t understand something.
Although he currently consulted the Qin Xue couple when he had problems, the thoughts in his mind were different. When Cohen heard the adoption news, he couldn’t help but smile, knowing he’d soon officially be Chu Molin’s son and have a formal name: Chu Yichen.
"Alright, you all did great. Go wash up now." Fang Xiu had boiled water while watching them work up a sweat playing. Now that they were exhausted, the water was ready for them to wash up. It must be said that they really worked together well.
