Reborn in the 80s and Remarrying an Officer, Let the Ungrateful Cry!
Chapter 671: I Want You
"Honey, I’ve missed you!"
Ever since his wife returned, Qin Wenhao hadn’t been with her—not even once.
It was mainly because his wife worked overtime so late every day.
She was already so exhausted; he wasn’t an animal, after all.
But now that he knew his wife had tomorrow off, he was truly desperate. He’d been holding back for so long.
His beloved wife lay beside him night after night, yet he hadn’t done a thing.
Did she really think he didn’t want to?
No, the truth was, he was desperate every single night.
When she wasn’t around, the thought rarely crossed his mind.
But with her right there beside him, he wanted nothing more than to lose himself in her.
When Fu Mingxue saw the burning look in his eyes, she knew exactly what he meant.
Her face instantly grew hot.
She said nothing, but the blush on her cheeks and her fluttering gaze said it all.
Qin Wenhao’s heart pounded even harder.
’We’re a long-married couple, after all,’ he thought. ’When my wife is silent and has that look on her face, it means yes.’
Overcome with excitement, he swept her into his arms and carried her toward the bedroom—
The next day, when Fu Mingxue woke up, she was not at all surprised to find the person beside her already gone.
She picked up her phone and glanced at it.
It was already seven o’clock.
That was indeed very late for her.
Then she remembered it was her day off, so she wasn’t in any rush to get up.
After all, lazing around in bed—that was a rare luxury for her.
She’d never done it in her past life.
And in this life, she could count the number of times on one hand.
She lay there for another five minutes or so, and just as she was about to get up, the door swung open and Qin Wenhao walked in.
"Honey, why are you up? Isn’t it your day off? You can sleep in a little longer." After all, she hadn’t gotten much sleep last night.
Of course, the main reason she hadn’t slept was him.
Fu Mingxue shot him a look. "I’m getting up."
"—Alright then. I’ll go cook the wontons. They’ll be ready in a minute."
Fu Mingxue was surprised. "You made wontons this early?"
"They’re easy to make." For Qin Wenhao, it really wasn’t a difficult task.
His wife was busy with work, and he was more than happy to learn new recipes from the kitchen staff.
"Aren’t we having zhajiangmian for lunch? I’ll make it." Fu Mingxue was actually a decent cook; after all, she had spent many years cooking in her past life.
However, since her rebirth, the number of times she’d actually cooked a meal could be counted on one hand.
For one, she simply didn’t have the time.
For another, her mother had taken charge of all the household chores, including cooking.
There was never an opportunity for her to lend a hand.
Even when it was just her and Qin Wenhao, he was basically the one who handled everything.
The moment Qin Wenhao heard his wife offer to make the zhajiangmian, he couldn’t bear the thought of her tiring herself out.
He immediately said, "Honey, let me do it! My zhajiangmian might not be as delicious as yours, but you can at least try my take on it."
Seeing this, Fu Mingxue didn’t insist.
"Alright."
"Honey, there’s a market in town today. How about we go together?"
"Sounds good." Fu Mingxue hadn’t been to the market in a long time, either.
’Now that he mentioned it,’ she thought, ’a trip there wouldn’t hurt.’
"Then you go brush your teeth and wash up. I’ll go cook the wontons."
With that, Qin Wenhao walked out.
Fu Mingxue didn’t waste any more time; she got dressed and out of bed.
By the time she finished washing up, Qin Wenhao had already cooked the wontons.
When Qin Wenhao saw her approaching, he quickly gestured for her to sit down.
"Honey, eat up."
