Chapter 563: Parent-Child Daily Routine

Fu Mingxue first gave her two little ones a bath.

Then she had them lie down in bed.

She herself then went downstairs to find her mother-in-law.

"Mom, Hao Hao and Keke are sleeping with me tonight."

Upon hearing this, Mrs. Qin immediately said, "You’ve been so exhausted these past few days. If the children sleep with you, won’t that affect your rest? Why don’t they just sleep with me tonight?"

"It’s okay, Mom. I’ve been gone for a few days. I want to sleep with them. It’ll be a good chance to tell them some stories."

"Alright then."

Fu Mingxue went upstairs again.

When the two little ones woke up, they were startled to find their mom wasn’t there.

But they were thrilled when they realized they were still in their mom’s bed.

This meant their mom hadn’t carried them back to their own beds last night—she had really slept with them.

The thought of sleeping with their mom last night filled the two little ones with happiness—

Just then, Fu Mingxue opened the door and walked in.

She saw at a glance that they were awake.

She hurried over to them.

"Lie back down, you’ll catch a cold."

"Mama."

"Mama!"

The two little ones cried in unison.

Fu Mingxue had seen they were still asleep earlier, so she had slipped downstairs for a moment.

Thankfully, she’d returned just in time.

"Come on, Mama will help you get dressed. One at a time."

She had Keke lie still and dressed the older one first.

Then she dressed the younger one.

Once they were both dressed, she led them to the bathroom to get cleaned up.

The two-year-olds already knew how to brush their own teeth.

Because the little toothbrushes were a reward from the System, Fu Mingxue had asked her own mother to teach them and to make sure the siblings brushed their teeth every day.

At the time, Mrs. Fu hadn’t understood—they were so young, what was the point of brushing their teeth?

What if they swallowed the dirty water?

Unfortunately, she was completely unable to win an argument with her own daughter, so she could only let the two little ones suffer through this entirely unnecessary ordeal.

Once the two little ones were ready, Fu Mingxue took their hands and led them downstairs.

When Mrs. Qin saw the trio come downstairs, she quickly ushered them over to eat breakfast.

Fu Mingxue didn’t have to worry about mealtimes. The two little ones were perfectly capable of feeding themselves and ate very well.

After breakfast, Mrs. Qin asked Fu Mingxue, "Do you have to go to campus today?"

"I do." The moment Fu Mingxue spoke, the two little ones looked up at her.

Qin Hao immediately asked, "Does that mean Mama will be gone for many days again?"

"I won’t be. Mama will be home early tonight."
