"Okay." Fu Mingxue nodded, then turned to her in-laws.

"Mom, Dad, I’ll leave the kids in your care after I’m gone. If they ask for me, just tell them I’ve gone away on a work trip. They know I’ve gone on business trips before."

The two of them were pretty easy to soothe.
