"Come here, Hao Hao, let Mommy put on your shoes."

The two little ones hadn’t quite learned how to put on their own shoes yet.

Qin Hao sat on the edge of the kang bed, stuck out his little feet, and said in a sweet, childish voice, "Thank you, Mommy!"

Fu Mingxue adored her twins.

"What are you all doing in there? Hurry out and eat!"

Then she lifted the two children off the kang bed. "Come on, Grandma’s calling us to eat."

She led the two children out by the hand.

Mrs. Fu had already set the food on the table.

When she saw the three of them come out, she said, "Go wash your hands. I’ve already put hot water in the basin for you."

So, Fu Mingxue took the two children to wash their hands.

They came back in a moment later.

After setting the children in their respective chairs, she turned her attention to the food on the table.

"When I went out this morning, they still had some pig’s trotters, so I bought them. Then I came home and soaked some soybeans. Pig’s trotters stewed with soybeans is very good."
