Chapter 443: Let Me Tell You Something

After a bumpy ride, the car arrived at the train station.

There were still fifteen minutes until boarding time.

They had to get inside the station.

The two little ones were now over two years old.

Their memories from their younger days were naturally different, and their cognitive abilities were much stronger now.

As far as they were concerned, this was their first time in such a strange place.

They were filled with nothing but curiosity.

Fu Mingxue watched them, thinking the twins were quite bold.

’They aren’t scared of this new environment at all!’

"Qin Hao, you have to look after your little sister and listen to Grandma and Mommy, understand?"

Fu Mingxue nearly rolled her eyes at Qin Wenhao’s words.

’The twins are the same age, so why does the ’big brother’ suddenly have such a huge responsibility?’

"Dad, I’ll watch my sister. I’ll listen to Grandma and Mommy, too. I’ll protect all three of them. I’m a little man."

Qin Hao vowed earnestly.

Fu Mingxue was speechless.

’You’re just a little tyke. Since when are you a ’little man’?’

When Mrs. Fu heard the little guy’s words, she was deeply moved.

"Our Hao Hao is such a good boy."

Qin Wenhao also gave his son a satisfied look. "You’re right. You’re a man, so you have to protect Grandma, Mommy, and your sister."

Fu Mingxue felt an urge to shove him aside. ’Oh, give me a break!’

Just then, the train arrived.

Although it wasn’t the twins’ first time on a train, they had been too young to remember it.

They considered this their first time seeing a train. Such a huge train—it made the two children both excited and a little afraid.

"Mom, honey, you two take the kids and get on the train. I’ll carry all this stuff," Qin Wenhao said.

Fu Mingxue immediately replied, "Carry them? Don’t be silly! We’ll get on the train, and then you can just pass them in through the window. Otherwise, how are you going to carry so much by yourself?"

Qin Wenhao nodded. "That could work."

"Mom, let’s get on!" Fu Mingxue said, picking up Qin Hao.

Mrs. Fu immediately scooped up the other twin.

She followed closely behind Fu Mingxue.

Once on board, the two of them quickly found their car.

Fu Mingxue put her son down. "Stay put."

Then she slid open the window, stuck her head out, and yelled to Qin Wenhao, "Qin Wenhao, over here!"

Qin Wenhao handed one up.

Fu Mingxue took it from him.

Once all the luggage was aboard, Fu Mingxue told Qin Wenhao to head back.

Qin Wenhao didn’t answer. Instead, he quickly boarded the train.

When he reached Fu Mingxue’s car,

Fu Mingxue was surprised. "What are you doing on here? The train is about to leave, hurry up and get off!"

"It’s fine. I can get off in a second. There’s plenty of time."

Seeing no one else around, Qin Wenhao felt much more relieved.

The truth was, he had bought all four tickets.

But, afraid his mother-in-law would call him wasteful, he had only shown them two train tickets.

"Honey, come here a second. I need to tell you something."

Curious, Fu Mingxue followed him out into the corridor. "What is it?"

Qin Wenhao pulled the other two tickets from his pocket and handed them to her.

Fu Mingxue was confused when she saw the train tickets, but then it clicked.

She was speechless. "You actually bought all four?" ’Did you have money to burn?’

"I specifically asked the ticket agent for them. This way, the four of you have the whole set of bunks. It’s perfect, no one else will be in here."

When he bought the tickets, he had specifically asked about it.

It just so happened that there were four sleeper berths available together.

So he bought them all on the spot.

"Just don’t let Mom find out."

Fu Mingxue gave him a sidelong look.

’So he does know to be scared of his mother-in-law.’

She was right. If her mom found out about this, she would never hear the end of it.

After all, train tickets to Beijing City were quite expensive, especially for sleeper berths.
