Reborn in the 80s and Remarrying an Officer, Let the Ungrateful Cry!
Chapter 339: Oh My God
"That’s right. I have a math class to teach."
Fu Mingxue’s words made Yan Feng’s eyes go wide.
’Good heavens... She’s so brilliant it’s unreal!’
He began to get things ready, his head still spinning.
Meanwhile, the physics and math departments were in an uproar.
Because they had all received the notice at the same time.
The physics department, of course, was taking it relatively well; two of their classes had already been taught by her, after all.
As for the math department, the news was delivered by their class presidents, because their class was scheduled for the last period of the afternoon.
Several classes were to attend the lecture together in a large hall.
They heard a math genius was going to be lecturing them.
The students were both excited and baffled. ’Which genius? What’s their name?’
’Which senior professor is it?’
They ran through the list of all the senior professors at the university but couldn’t pinpoint who it might be.
’Could it be a guest lecturer from another university?’
The class presidents were sick of being asked. After all, they didn’t know any more than the others; they were just relaying the message from Professor Xu.
Someone with a wild imagination couldn’t help but guess, "They’re being so secretive... it couldn’t be that legendary genius from the physics department, could it? That student, Fu Mingxue?"
Someone immediately shot that down. "No way. She’s a physics major. And stop calling her a student. With Fu Mingxue’s abilities, even calling her ’Teacher’ doesn’t do her justice."
If the praise had come from just one class, you could say she was just pretty good. But she’d taught a full cycle of classes for the entire physics department.
That went way beyond "pretty good." She was unbelievably skilled.
’But being a physics prodigy is one thing. Now she’s doing math, too? You’ve got to be kidding, right?’
’No single person can be *that* brilliant.’
’Wait, no, she already *is* that brilliant.’
"What’s the point of guessing? Whoever it is, they must be impressive if they have the guts to teach this class. Let’s just be ready."
Amidst all the anticipation, the time finally arrived.
Students had rushed to the lecture hall as early as possible to grab seats, with many aiming for the front row.
Seeing that it was almost time, Yan Feng couldn’t help but ask Fu Mingxue, "Teacher Fu, are you nervous? It looks like a full house over there. Not a single person is missing."
Hearing this, Fu Mingxue looked up at him. "Nervous? If I got nervous, I wouldn’t have accepted this gig in the first place. All right, let’s go."
"Right, okay!" Yan Feng said, following her out the door.
Back in the lecture hall, all the students were craning their necks in anticipation.
There was even a crowd standing outside the classroom.
They wanted to see who this genius was.
Just then, Fu Mingxue arrived.
When everyone saw her, they didn’t think much of it at first.
They were merely struck by her good looks, assuming she was just another student arriving late for class.
As she reached the classroom door, a student kindly reminded her, "Hey, it’s full in here."
Fu Mingxue glanced at the student, gave a slight smile, and walked inside.
At first, the students in the large lecture hall also assumed she was just a student from one of the classes.
Until she stepped up to the podium.
At that moment, every sound died.
They were utterly stunned.
’It’s really her?’
’The physics genius, Fu Mingxue? She’s here to teach *us*?’
’Oh my god, this is just too... too...’ They couldn’t find the words to describe how they felt.
’And nobody mentioned that the physics genius was so young and beautiful!’
Fu Mingxue scanned the room. ’Good, they’re all quiet.’
"Hello, everyone. I’m Fu Mingxue, and I’ll be your lecturer for this class. Today’s main topic will be high-dimensional nonlinear problems—"
The lecture went on for quite a while.
She concluded her lecture with only fifteen minutes left in the period.
"We still have some time, so you can raise your hand if you have any questions."
