Everyone’s eyes widened when they heard Director Zheng.

Some even gasped.

’Heavens, so this is that classmate we heard only showed up once at the start of the semester?’

They had never even met her.

They never expected her grasp of the material to be so incredible—her explanations were even simpler and easier to understand than Director Zheng’s.

’Someone this incredible was actually their classmate.’

’In other words—she was just like them.’

’Heavens, she’s so incredible!’

"Director Zheng, is what you’re saying true?" asked Zan Zi.

"Of course it’s true. You can check the roster of all the students in your class and see if there’s someone named Fu Mingxue."

The class monitor then nodded, his expression complicated. "Yes, Fu Mingxue is our classmate."

He then turned to Fu Mingxue and said, "I apologize. We were a bit out of line earlier. Please forgive us, Teacher Fu."

’She was no longer on their level as a mere classmate.’

’Based on the expertise she just demonstrated, she had long since surpassed them.’

"There’s no need to apologize. It’s a perfectly normal reaction. There is no end to learning, and I hope you all study hard in your specialized fields so you can make great contributions to our country in the future. Alright, that’s all for now. I need to step out with Director Zheng."

After she finished speaking, Fu Mingxue looked at Director Zheng.

Director Zheng immediately said, "Let’s go."

After everyone in the class watched them leave, a thunderous uproar broke out.

"Heavens, we’re all human, how can she be so incredible? Plus, she looks younger than anyone else in class."

"I must have been out of my mind. Her lecture was so professional and advanced, yet I actually had the nerve to doubt her before."

"Me too—I’m so ashamed."

"I remember now! That Fu Mingxue—she got a perfect score on the math portion of her college entrance exam, and on the English portion too. She’s absolutely brilliant."

"She came at the start of the semester. I was there."

"I was there too."

"I... I was there too."

These were the only three people who had seen Fu Mingxue in the classroom back then.

"Why didn’t any of you say anything?"

The three immediately said, "We were in class. When would we have had a chance for idle chatter? Besides, her knowledge is so advanced that even Director Zheng felt she could teach in his place. Were all of you so clueless that you just had to challenge her?"

"Exactly! Think about who Director Zheng is. Would he let just anyone come and teach our class?"

Everyone’s faces turned shades of red and white.

They were truly ashamed.

"She teaches really well!" someone couldn’t help but blurt out.

The others agreed.

They had no choice but to admit it. Even without attending class, the knowledge she possessed was vastly superior to theirs.

At that moment, the class monitor spoke up. "Alright, now that everyone has seen how brilliant Teacher Fu is, the next time she comes to lecture, every single one of you had better show some respect."

"Also, Teacher Fu said she’ll only be on campus for a few days. Everyone should prepare any questions you might have, so she can answer them for you during class."

Everyone thought that was a good idea.

Meanwhile, Fu Mingxue returned to Director Zheng’s office.

Director Zheng cut in before she could speak. "Fu Mingxue, that lecture was absolutely brilliant! How about this—you don’t need to attend class anymore. Everyone’s just reviewing at this stage anyway, so it would be a waste of time for you to just sit there. Why not lecture for them instead?"

"Don’t worry, I won’t ask you to do it for nothing. I’ll pay you a salary—"

"There’s no need to pay me a salary. I just have one question for you, Director Zheng. If I lecture the class, then when it’s time for the exam, won’t people think I’ve already seen the test ahead of time?"
