Fu Mingxue looked up in surprise when she heard him.

"Didn’t we already talk about this? Of course you can."

’I wonder why he’s bringing this up again.’

A corner of Qin Wenhao’s mouth quirked up. He handed her the peeled egg. "Have an egg."

"I can get it myself."

Qin Wenhao felt that when you really liked someone, you found everything about them perfect.

Take right now, for example—even just watching her eat was a delightful sight.

Fu Mingxue ate a lot, and Qin Wenhao finished off all the leftovers.

After all, they both had big appetites.

"Let’s not clean up now. I can do it when I get back. We should head to the university first."

"Okay. I’ll go grab my things."

Fu Mingxue went back to her room and grabbed the bag she usually used.

After all, even if the bag didn’t hold much, it was sometimes the best cover.

When she came out, Qin Wenhao was already wheeling out the bicycle. "Let’s go!"

The couple left the house.

After locking the door, Fu Mingxue hopped onto the back seat of the bicycle.

"I probably won’t be back for lunch. I’ll be back tonight."

"Okay." Qin Wenhao had been planning to make her dumplings for lunch.

Now that she wasn’t coming back, he certainly wouldn’t be cooking at home for lunch either.

The university wasn’t too far, only a five or six-minute bike ride away.

Fu Mingxue got off the back seat.

"Alright, you can head back now! You don’t need to come back this afternoon, either. I can just walk home."

Qin Wenhao had planned on picking her up. "It’s fine. I’m free anyway, so don’t worry about me. When the time comes, if I’m here, we’ll go back together. If I’m not, you can just head straight home."

"Alright, then. Suit yourself. I’m heading in." Fu Mingxue didn’t want to be all lovey-dovey with him at the university gate.

After all, a lot of people were entering the campus at this hour.

’And they’re all looking this way!’

After a wave of her hand, she walked onto campus—

Qin Wenhao stood there, blinking.

’Wait a minute... Shouldn’t I have walked her in?’

’Then again, plenty of students are going in right now, so they’ll definitely know my wife is already taken.’

Qin Wenhao watched the university students, his gaze darkening slightly.

He scanned the area.

He felt much more at ease. ’These university students might be a tiny bit more cultured than me.’

’Some are a little younger, but being young isn’t a good thing—they’re all just a bunch of greenhorns.’

’My wife would never like a greenhorn.’

’And the older ones—they’re even less of a match for me.’

’My wife likes good-looking men. Like me.’

’She wouldn’t even give a second glance to anyone who isn’t as handsome as I am.’

Just as Qin Wenhao was about to get on his bike and leave, a familiar voice called out, "Qin Wenhao, what are you doing here?"

Qin Wenhao turned his head and saw Zan Zi.

He immediately replied, "Dropping off my wife."

His tone was filled with pride.

Zan Zi picked up on it.

He was also shocked. "Huh? Your wife? Your wife goes to university here?"

’How have I never heard about this?’

Although they didn’t live very far apart, he definitely knew that Qin Wenhao was married.

He just had never met Qin Wenhao’s wife.

Qin Wenhao nodded. "That’s right."

Seeing this, Zan Zi’s interest was piqued. "What’s your wife’s name? What’s her major?"

"Is my wife’s name something you can just ask? Don’t you know to call her ’Sister-in-law’? As for her major... Wait a minute, what class are you in?"

A terrible thought suddenly struck Qin Wenhao—’This guy isn’t in the same class as my wife, is he?’
