Several students listened with a newfound sense of seriousness as the man continued his lecture. They had already gotten the memo, this man was a very experienced cultivator/warrior. The fact that he was in this classroom at this moment was due to his personal decisions.

The world was tough, it was one in which one could be attacked, or unalived at any time and any place. It was understandable as to why Mr. Okinoze did not want to live his life in such a way.

The man slowly turned around to face the class again. "That is why two cultivators of the same realm can possess entirely different levels of strength. One may have superior Qi, another may possess a stronger body, while the third may have a will that refuses to bend."

A faint smile tugged at Mr. Okinoze’s lips for the umpteenth time, he hadn’t opened his eyes at all since he walked into the class, reminding Jacob of Heimdall. "So tell me... if two cultivators possess identical cultivation realms, identical bodies, identical amounts of Qi, identical techniques, and identical weapons... who wins?"

The class fell even more silent. Nobody seemed to have a response to the man’s question.

A hand slowly rose amidst the silence, exuding nothing but uncertainty. The hand belonged to Violet.

"The one with greater experience?" She said, looking at the man, her countenance brimming with uncertainty.

"Good answer!" He exclaimed as he stepped forward. "Experience certainly plays a huge role... but your answer is still inherently wrong."

"Then what determines the winner?" A girl asked from the back of the class.

"The one who wants to win more." Mr. Okinoze’s smile widened even more, turning into a vivid grin spread across his face.

They all looked at each other in confusion, but the man ignored their confused glances and continued. "Instinct." He said, picking up his cane and tapping it on the floor once, the entire room fell silent again.

"Comprehension." He tapped again. With each tap, he sent his unbridled aura bursting forward so thee tire class could feel the brunt of it.

"Adaptability." He tapped again. "...And above all..."

The class listened very carefully to what he was about to say. "Your ability to make the impossible possible." The old man’s eyes seemed to narrow without ever actually opening.

Jacob’s expression remained unchanged as he listened to the lecture. Internally, he found it somewhat interesting.

The old man was not teaching them how to cultivate, he was teaching them how to think, and what truly mattered in any confrontation, or exchange.

He found that more valuable.

The lecture from Mr. Okinoze continued like that for another several hours until it was time to go, Violet shoved a book in her bag, one that she had been using to take notes up until this time. Jacob did not understand why, but he did not question it at all.

She slung the hand of her bag across her shoulder and stood up, he followed. They both walked out of the class together. No one had noticed that there was a clone of Jacob in First Year A, but it did not surprise him at all.

Disciples were beginning to fill the halls, the sounds of feet shuffling, students chattering, and laughter filled the hallways as Jacob and Violet made their own way through.

"I really enjoyed the class." Jacob told her.

"I told you, you’re going to really enjoy it here. I enjoyed the class as well, Mr. Okinawa is such a character."

"Okinoze." Jacob corrected her, smiling ear to ear at the fact that she could t even remember the man’s name.

"What?" She asked.

"His name is Okinoze, not Okinawa."

"Oh right, I knew that aha."

They had both made their way out of the hall, and out of the building, it was like a breath of fresh air when they stepped out.

They were about to walk over to the canteen ince again when a hand touched Jacob on his back, he turned around quickly to find that the same girl whom he saw this morning was standing there, her white hair was a little more arranged now, and had a bright crimson hair clip on it.

She wore a different dress, and she stood there with a bright smile on her face.

"Big brother Jacob. I didn’t see you in class today." She said loudly, loud enough that anyone in a 10 meter radius would hear. This morning, she had acted like the mother of the boy who threatened to fight with Jacob, but now she was acting like his little sister.

Jacob furrowed his brows and pinched the bridge of his nose, if he did not put a stop to it, she was only going to stay on his heels in this manner.

"Jacob, you have a sister?" Violet asked, confusion was written on her face, but there was still a sense of intrigue.

"No I do not." He answered, infiltrating Allicent’s mind immediately, saying: ’Please go, we’ll talk later.’

She responded immediately with a mischievous grin on her face. ’No, I want to talk now.’

Sighing, Jacob turned to Violet. "I’ll meet you at the canteen." He said as he pulled her into a a reassuring hug.

"Okay..." she said with uncertainty as she turned away.

"Big brother Jacob, I am so happy to see you." Allicent jumped in excitement, the same excitement she had on her face the last time they spoke in the dungeons of the Wutherhorn estate.

"I’m glad you are." He replied flatly.

"Like I told you before; I’m royalty, so my mother and father found a way to put me in this school full of weak people. But you, you coming here has made me wanna stay. By the way, who is that girl, is she you girlfriend?" The girl inquired, the smile never leaving her face.

"Yes she is." He responded without even thinking.

"Oh, also I wanted to tell you not to mind Rin, he’s weak, so things tend to get to him very easily."

"Let me guess, just like the guard on duty in the dungeons, you have him under your control." Jacob said, matter-of-factly.

The girl mirrored his gaze and smiled mischievously. "This is why I like you, big brother Jacob. But you’re wrong, it’s not just him."
