Chapter 37: A Few Updates (Please Read!)

Hi everyone!

So... I got a contract today! (≧▽≦) Before moving forward, I went back through the earlier Chapters to clean them up. I fixed some formatting along the way, and I also renamed a few characters so they fit the 2006 setting better.

If this causes any confusion, I’m truly sorry! Below is a quick guide to everyone whose name changed. Please give it a read. Think of it as a little recap of the story so far!

The Main Cast

Rhett Delaney: Our MC. He came back from 2026 to 2006, eighteen again, a freshman at SCU, known online as MrPelican.

Dom Russo: Rhett’s roommate and best friend. Loud, loyal, never without his camera.

Claire Oda: The quiet coding genius who runs MrPelican’s servers, website and live streams.

Kelsey Daniels: A bubbly communications major who keeps showing up exactly when Rhett needs her.

The Opposition

Trent Mattingly: The rich kid who’s had it out for Rhett since the BMW contest.

Gordon Mattingly: Trent’s father, a real estate developer and the head of Mattingly Group.

Dorsey: Gordon’s smooth-talking right-hand man.

Howard Pruitt: The associate dean of student affairs. Very polite. Very much not on Rhett’s side.

Spencer Rydell: The man who took Rhett’s company from him in his first life.

Others

Paul Lindgren: Rhett’s contact at YouTube.

Diane Albrecht: Sony’s VP of marketing.

Professor Lombardi: The economics professor who asked the first question at the quiz final.

Lauren Holt: The tech blogger who just wrote a big piece about MrPelican.

Thanks for reading, and for putting up with me! Next Chapter’s coming soon. (^_^;)
