"Is it over? What was the movie about?" Ye Jian hadn’t expected to fall asleep so unguardedly in such a public place, and found it quite incredible to think about, "Maybe we shouldn’t come to watch anymore. I’m worried I’ll sleep through the whole thing again."

Being in the military for so long, regular civilian life seemed far removed from them. They were clueless about what interesting things might happen on a civilian date; they were just not skilled at this sort of thing.

"Speaking of dinner, I heard there’s a nice place we can try. If it’s good, we could bring the grandparents along next time." Xia Jinyuan suggested.

"Grandparents?" Ye Jian’s heart suddenly started to beat faster, "Are they coming over later?"

Xia Jinyuan really didn’t know what to do with his girlfriend, and after giving her a couple of firm kisses, he let it go, "Would I let grandparents intrude on our date?"

Ye Jian, who had just been startled, patted her chest in relief. Thank goodness, thank goodness. Otherwise, she wouldn’t know how to handle being led around and kissed by Captain Xia in front of them.
